  1. It actually says Discontinued at HLJ. :D

That's weird. Because the time I posted that one, it still says Low Stock. I guess, a lot of people did really like that YF-19 in spite of errors. I DO. That's why I wish the price will drop soon, say $200, so I can buy my second one. Even without those missles and fast packs, I'm good. Hehehe. ;)

  2. Seriously, how do we know if Bandai's going to decide to release a VF-25S reissue? I want it so bad since I just want to buy his and do a red stripe on him. I know he looks way better on an Armored Pack than Alto's. It's the only reason why I want to have one Ozma. But I don't want to pay aftermarket priced Valks from $350 and up. But just in case they don't, that's fine I guess. Hehehe. All I can do is shake my head. :D

  3. ...

Anyone know anywhere that is still accepting pre-orders for the YF-25??

    PM Sent. :)

Getting excited to see more footage or photos regarding this Valk. I'm so curious on the rotating pelvic area. Good or bad, I don't think it will matter since I kinda dig now how the Battroid looks esp on the last photo uploaded a page ago. But not so sure if I'm going to get a special pack if eve they decide to release one. Beam Cannon perhaps? :D

  4. The link I posted via Mandarake earlier is still available. That's a Ver2 VF-1J that is not part of the 30th Anniv releases since it doesn't have the 30th marking. Is that one too pricey? I assumed plus shipping it will go around $290-300.

Here's from buyee. 11 hours to go:

    Another one with Super Packs:

    Hope that helps.

  5. The armor part comes with two crotch support if I recall correctly. One for standing on its own and another for mounting on the SMS stand. Here is from anymoon website.

    I love this pose.

Thanks for pointing out that crotch support option part. Now I can play and put back the Armored Pack to 25F. I wish it also comes with the Super Parts too. Which is not since I also have the Super Parts. Hehehe.

By the way, I like that pose too. ^_^

  6. I just hope they'll include a PVC head laser for this aside from the ABS ones as a standard package. Don't want to hit every now and then the ABS head lasers and crack, snap or break when the missle pod rotates. It's the only valid reason for me why sometimes I appreciate the PVC items. I just wished that they should have included an ABS head lasers for 25F releases. ^_^

  7. I'm not sure about the tightening part. But when using the armor part, to prevent the crotch from collapsing and the fork from coming off, there is the bracket that is supplied.

Oh my! :o I didn't know that part. I thought at first that it might be some attachment for the display stand since it has also that support at the back for the cockpit area. Will look into that since all the rest of the stands and optional items are still in the box. Thanks KH355hamdi! ;)

I have tried a few things but its pretty hard to get that to lock in tightly. I have sanded the teeth on the male connector and that helped a little. I did take the section apart and all that holds that metal bar in place is some springs and and some small plastic parts. I added some rubber pieces to that back of the spring to try and increase the tension and my 29 now manages to stand with the fast pack on but its still not all that solid of a connection. Biggest problem is actually getting to that mechanism with the spring, you have have to knock out a pin to be able to get to the screws :(

Wow! You did open it up? :o Is putting everything back in a problem? Especially you mentioned some springs and small parts. So not all Valks comes with that support part mentioned by KH355hamdi? So the only fix if ever you don't have that support part from the Armored Pack add-on is open the whole crotch area? Would adding some rubber on the joints is the safe route than nail polish? Thanks in advance anubis20. :)

  8. Are you talking about the metal prong that clips into the place where the Fighter- and Gerwalk-Mode stand adapters attach to?

First I would check if you snapped them all the way in. I had this problem with my Super VF-27 where it would hold fine without the armor but detach with the extra weight. I turned out I hadn't snapped the metal prong in all the way in. The connection is usually pretty save but I have the same problem with my armored-up YF-29 Fokker Custom. I usually display them on their stands when in Fighter-Mode so its fine. I don't know if you can tighten the joints with super glue or floor polish since I never did such a thing to my toys so maybe someone else could give some advice on this topic.

    Hope that helps. :)

Thanks Scyla! ^_^ I'm not sure if that's where the stand clips in since I'm still not using their respective display stands. I found some photos posted here by Drackie. So basically, it's the swivel metal part of the hip that connects to the back of the crotch to form the pelvic area that I have a problem with. Especially in when displaying it in Battroid mode wearing the Armored Pack. I know I'm pushing it in properly until I hear that 'clicking' sound. I'm not so sure how to tighten the female connector part which I believe is color grey. Or if the metal bar itself that I need to put nail polish with.

  9. Now sure if this is already been asked:

Is there a way on fixing/tightening the crotch area joints? It's not the one at the back of the hips/intake. But it's still the same metal part used for the hips. But it's the area that snaps the other end to form the crotch area. Usually, when I put the Armored Pack Booster, it really makes the back heavy and that's the time the metal joint will just snap out from the hole.

    Thanks in advance. :)

  10. You mean like this?

    Actually, I'd like a MtF VF-1J head.....calling Kurisama...come in Kurisama....

Instant buys for me if Arcadia ever decides on releasing MtF VFs and Super Packs....

Nice! Was that done using the Yamato unpainted kit? Cool looking dude. Now you made me second think about that new head.

I'd be all over those Reaction Warhead Super Packs. Pretty cool looking to me.

What pack are those Reaction Warhead Packs from? Attacker, Cruiser, or Maneuver?

How about anything new from Arcadia.

    lol

Besides the announced VF-0D? Is Arcadia just being careful with their releases? 1 new Valk a year?

  11. That's a pretty awesome idea, I hope you get the chance to make your mod. I'd love to see it finished.

Yeah, that cool with me. :) The color scheme look great!

Thanks! Glad you liked that color combo. I'm just looking around what to use to change those yellow stripes on 25S. Painting is the last option since it's going to chip when it's transformed. So I'm researcing for thin stickers. Now all we need is to wait for Bandai to announce a reissue.

  12. Yes, I'll buy it if Arcadia will release it. It will really goes together with the rest of my Red & Stripe scheme collections. Good to know that it's also Hikaru's.

I'm just not too fond of the newly designed head so what I will do probably is when it's displayed in Battroid mode, I'll use the regular 1J head. ;)

As for the packs - Super Attacker, Super Cruiser, Super Maneuver, not so sure...

I really like the new 1J color scheme but those new packs are overkill. It removes the simplicity of the VF-1's.

  13. no3jim here you go. Sorry I didn't swap the leg armor parts. Hope that is ok. ^_^

I photoshopped the leg armors and changed Ozma yellow to red. Hope it's ok, saburo. ^_^ This combo is what I'm planning to do just in case Bandai reissue Ozma's 25S.

  14. I know. I really like how the 25S head looks better in Battroid Armored mode than the 25F. That's why I ordered the Alto's Armored Part for 25S, assuming or if ever Bandai decides to do a reissue. If not, then atleast I still have Armor Parts for Alto. All I need to do if ever is repaint all the yellow stripes or apply thin red stickers for 25S. I think it's much easy to custom the Valk itself than the parts. Just completing the Red & Black stripe motif. ^_^

By the way, do you guys consider Alto's Durandal a part of the Red & Black scheme? Assuming the base color for the valks are still White (traditional) or Tan (Isamu's). Somehow I don't since majority of his Durandal body are red and not white. Any thoughts? ;)

But again, if ever he is, I'm not gonna spend that much to get him for completing the Red & Black scheme. Rather save the dough to get VF-4G (if Arcadia will not do reissue). Hehehe.

  15. no3jlm here you go. Sorry I didn't swap the leg armor parts. Hope that is ok. ^_^

Love it! Thanks saburo! Your photos are spectacular. ;)

I kinda like how the overall look of the color grey. I know there's not enough contrast to it but I really like it. Now I'm really decided. The only sad part is... VF-25S Renewal is now expensive. Here's to hoping for a reissue. Make mine Bandai!
