Posting this on both Books and Magazines thread: Macross Modelers is going to be featured in an upcoming Hobby Japan EXTRA Vol. 23 which will be released in late November. No need to get the stand alone. Just get another combo set and sell the Armor Parts if you want another 1J. That is, if you're not into the special stand that comes with stand alone release. The good thing on the other hand is that the nose cone joint of the 1J has already been fixed.

Now, now, however, I don't mind if Bandai will starts making the 'AoZ' mechas in MB form as long that it's not too over 'MB-stylish'. I'm pretty sure I will need bigger room for those and probably sell stuff too.

Besides Exia, you have to add Crossbone and Astray too on who's getting prioritized. Good thing I wasn't even a fan of F90/F91 series.

No. What you need is to pay a combo set price for a solo J. That way, you don't need to worry about the extra Armor that comes with your second combo set. But that's not the practical choice, right?

If F90 gets made, I wonder how much people are willing to collect and to spend on all of its alphabet 'Mission Packs' if Bandai get those made as well?

I wasn't into modding... yet. But I'm guessing we can replace the joints with something more sturdier or strengthen it somehow? But yeah, with years of building Gundam kits OOB, I believe Hasegawa's is more of a display kit. You plan ahead what the pose is going to be and have it build that way.

Looking at the photos you posted, that magenta is somehow closer to 31AX that I posted above on the right compared to the 31C that I posted on the left. Not sure if this has something to do with the monitor or screen color settings but with your guys argument, I guess I have to assume that it will still going to have the same magenta tone for now. I was just kind of thinking of getting this 31AX model instead due to its color since I'm seeing it's redder than wait for Arad's 31AX if it's going to get made. Oh well.

I built one OOB just to test it out years ago. And yes, it's bad enough that it can't support the weight of the kit. Mine is a Strike VF-1S.
