nice list , but concidering Yamato is now making its second VFX-2 toy I think we have have more chances of getting more of those than M7 toys , but we´re all free to dream (I too would like M7 toys but as we know Bandai is a big obstacle right now). You forgot the VF-5000 BTW

It's the final boss baddie from the Dreamcast Macross M3 game released in 2001. The Macross Compendium has the following to say about it: - "Zentradi final weapon with two different combining mecha modes depending on ending". It's one of the hardest Macross mecha to find pictures or information on. I buy a lot of Japanese hobby and gaming mags and this is the first time I have ever seen that picture. So props to WJ for making it available. Graham I wish I could take some screen captures of the thing.... but my M3 game screws up during the stage when you get the VF-X-11. The whole screen goes black except for the HUD, you can here everything happening in the game, but you can't see a damn thing.... pisses me off. I thought it was from M3 , I never got the chance to finninsh it. If it has two forms depending the on the ending it would be awesome if someone could post a picture of both.

wow another nice Macross mecha for my list , its reaaaally nice looking , I like the legs and arms design. Where is it from ? M3 or VFX2 ? it looks very similar to the Pheyos valk and the variable Glaug

unfortunatelly for some it will be about "unlocking" supressed human abilities long forgotten, what everyone has to realise is the WHY that is presented before our eyes. M0 is all about Protoculture intervention on earth and the pathway to SW1. The protoculture weren´t a bunch of dumb human like creatures who could barely make robots like humans in SW1 , they mastered a lot scientific knowledge on how to alter the biological composition of life forms i.e. Zentradis , Zolans , Humans , Meltrans , EVILs. Wouldn´t it be stupid of them not to alter themselves to improve their genetics and gain telekinetics abilities and other stuff ? Why could Exedol alter himself being a simple Zentradi and not the Protoculture with thouzands of years of evolution and mastering all sorts of technology ? So , if the Protoculture came to earth and altered humans so we could be compatible with them why couldn´t they change us to have control over Mayan stuff like ¨rocks¨ ? and i say ¨rocks¨ cause those things could very well be components of some sort of control panel of the remnants of the PC ship that made up Mayan and which were later used by the dumd natives as decorative statues.

so in your opinion only an action filled anime series with no plot at all would make a good prequel , nonsense. THe plot HAS to be complicated otherwise there would be nothing worthy in it. It simply wouldn´t be macross if it was all action an no intricate plot. I think many of the old fans were expecting a SDF Remake , only with different valks. That , to my opinion , was the dumbest and biggest mistake they could´ve made when expecting this OVA series. Those eager to get a re-animated SDF across series are exactly the same people who dislike Macross zero for not showing enough SDF Macross elements when M0 IS supposed to cover events not (directly) related with it but with the protoculture and humans NOT SW1. Many here feel uncomfortable because Zero sows fantatic elements such as floting rocks , but from an entirely plot-focused perspective , isn´t Mayan a Protoculture vessel ? shouldn´t it be designed to react to Protoculture powers/abilities ? isn´t Sara a PC decendant ? so why the sudden surprise with this elements ?

hey , I´ve got no problem with the loose crotch part as far as QC issues goes , I could use some double sided tape in the worst case sceneario but the idea of a fixed gbp is not that bad , the gbp is fixed in battroid anyway so... Can´t wait to get mine , then i´ll probably buy a 1/48 and customise it.

wow , look at the detail This is far better than what i expected , Gerwalk mode looks weird but that´s because he legs are extended in a L position. Any other artwork in that mag ? it seems it covered a lot of macross

How much we hate HG, even if they suddenly turned good, made a mutually beneficial deal with Big West, brought us high quality products at low cost, and gave us each a kitten. Wait!!!!! ok , ok ,ok ,ok .... let me get this straight .... Does the kitten come with Fast Pack or not ? is it 1/48 ? cause if its not then I´ll have to bash about it you know Oh , I almost forgot it : will the kitten come with a BW or a HG logo on it ?

The big mistake made by Yamato was that they promoted this thing as a toy instead of a prepainted model or something of that kind. If they had done that maybe peoply would´ve been more comprehensive with this thing What a shame though , this toy had much more potential and they screwed up big time , this may be marketed as a toy for the masses but the masses ain´t drooling buggers who´ll buy anything theu shove down our throats

looking at all the cost-saving efforts Yamato has made in recent months ;I think that the most probable thing that happened with this toy was that Yamato put the QC guys in charge of the design of the toy instead of a proper designer Not only will it be ugly and complicated , it will probably also be full of QC problems cause the guys in charge of that will be celebrating the ¨success¨ of their design somewhere else They should hire Hasegawa custom VF-0 battroid modelers to do this toy , it´s just a shame it´s too late. You know what´s trully sad ? the fact that now that Yamato has no ears for their customers they won´t even notice how much of a disappointment this means to their customers.

I'm begining to think you are right about this being passed onto a newbie design team with little sculpting experience. While from certain angles the toy looks OK, there are IMO so many areas that are just poorly sculpted and not accurate to what little CG art and lineart has been published so far of the VF-0S. Here's a list of where I think the sculpt is poor: - Inaccurate wing shape. /True Hip area (intakes) too large./Very True Ugly, too large ball joint sockets on the hips./True Inaccurate tail fin shape./not that bad Tail fins not canted outwards enough./True Innacurate cockpit and nose area sculpt.VERY True Poorly sculpted, ugly landing gear.True Graham

OOOOoooook.... Many of you know I´ve been an advocate of this toy until now mainly because I had hopes the design would be good enough by itself so swappable legs would be a minor issue but.... Is this some kind of a joke ? I know some people here buy almost every single one of their products but do they really think we´re stupid enough to buy such an improvised design ? I´ve seen far better gashapon toys elsewhere.... the thing going for it is the headsculpt but I ain´t paying 40 for this thing. If they had promoted this toy as a prepainted model kit earlier with Yamato´s firts Macross toy releases , kinda like in the times of toycom M+ toys , I would´ve concidered buying it , but now ? to Yamato: guys , if you wanna sell M0 toys look at what just a few fan modelers made with Hasegawa´s kit. Strangely enough , this issue actuallly makes the valk look even better. This guys at Hase must have taken some of my dreams while I was asleep and made them real by act of magic. This things are SPOT ON , thety´re exactly why I would´ve imagined M0 would look like in real life (toy form). I´m VERY impressed by DD´s 51 , it really looks like it , a bit thinner but still good looking

Yeah I´ve heard this line is pretty neat , I´m thinking of buying the X-2 Crossbone Gundam as it is the only MS ,apart from the Astray Red frame , that I´m interested in.

Amazing , at last M7 haters have been able to reach the land of the toy forum and spread their bad karma all around , that´s just great Anyway , CM has done an excellent job picking up their selection of characters for their figures , although there IS a predominant number of DYRL figures on past releases they at least were smart enough to include characters from all series included M0 which I´m very happy for. Let´s not get mad about what characters they choose to make or not , let´s just celebrate the fact we´re getting figures period. HELL YEAH. I still don´t know why M7 haters haven´t discovered the un-teletubied , un-fanboyished world of Macross 7 Trash. If you have ever bashed M7 in any sort of thread for its lameness then you OUGHT and deserve to check out Trash , if there was ever a RIGHT way to make M7 a decent anime then Trash would be most certainly it Anyway , I´m eager to have some VF-X2 and M0 figures , the later ones being a sure thing. As for crappy M7 characters , that only confirm you´ve never seen Max and Gamling on a VF-22 flight suit or Millia on a thight reendition of her VF-1 suit

Actually, we don't know that. I'm not sure if this is an official site, it doesn't look like it. It could just be a poll like we do here at MW. Sorry , just realised it was just a poll , I thought it was an official list Anyway , as I said , some M+ figures would be VERY welcome , more M7 figures are inevitable so I´m sure Max , Millia and Gamlin will apear soon. now , what would really be cool is VF-X2 figures , that would definitively be awesome.

you´re right , now that CM and Yamato are working together making all sorts of macross figures it seems strange they got the M7 license and yet we don´t have any M7 valks. Anyway , it so damn cool to know they´re making M7 max and Millia , as well as M+ figures. Hopefully they´ll make VF-X2 figures as well now that they´re making M3 figures. I´ll definetively get M7 Max and Millia and Isamu and of course Gamlin , too cool to miss on these ones.

Do I smell a poll coming on? I'm definitely buying 2 or maybe 3 of the VB-6. Graham yeah , I´ll have to buy one at the very least I can´t wait to know all the features this baby will feature Nothing to bad but looking at the earlier unpainted prototype pics I would´ve thought the VB-6 would´ve had more detail , more specifically panel lines and such , maybe it´s the photos though , paint job looks ok but I would´ve liked a more lighter tone, can´t deny this baby is one heck of a beauty , it´s so frigging nice to have something new and cool being released

Mmmmm , interesting. They´re promoting the Koenig under the VF-X2 license , this might sound dumb since we´ve alredy seen a Vf-X2 toy before (VF-19A) but I can´t remember if it really had the VF-x2 logo on it. Anyway , if they´re willing to promote the Koenig under the Vf-X2 license then this could mean they´ll expand the line with other valks.

Looking at the words printed on the Vf-0B legs it says ¨Space Proving Wing¨ , so i´m guessing the 0B is equipped with thermonuclear engines , and the serial number is 001 , so this means one of the follwing 2 things : a) it´s a newer model that´s been fitted with thermonuclear engines which will kick the Anti-Un arses or b) it´s the VF-0 prototype which was suppossed to have thermonuclear engines (this can be backed up by Ep.1 Nakajima´s comments and Edwar comment about the 0D being designed for space hence its ability to go underwater) Either way I REALLY hope this valk appears by Ep.5 Kinda reminds me of the F-14
