  1. I guess there isn't much you can do design-wise since it is in the future. And, doesn't make sense to make it look like current generation military jets.
  2. I voted for 1D but get all 3 even if you have to space it out over time. As long as you don't get tempted on the other valks from the other macross shows.
  3. very nice. but for the price, nah. why don't they do the other valks that they have not done a transformational version of like the vf-0d
  4. can't they repaint the vf-0 series too, so that we'll know its the fixed version.

    1/60 M7 Valks

looks cool. one of the things that I hated was the guld with palms together & non-clear canopies that made it unplanelike.

    yamato's next move

to think that they had several iterations of VF-1 repaints. why can't they redo all the other transformable lines?
  7. I love my 1/48. I would probably think twice though if I were to buy a VF-1 & I never had either a 1/48 or 1/60.
  8. here's what I presently have with me- 1/48 VF-1S 1/48 VF-1A 1/48 fastpack 1/60 ver 1 VF-1s 1/60 YF-19 GN-U YF-19 GN-U YF-21
  9. hideous. they should just lower their prices to spur demand rather than these questionable new items.
  10. I just got the yf-21 & yf-19 non fast pack version that they were selling at close out. I have to change my opinion, these things are amazing. and very playable. too bad they were priced so high. and, they don't have those garish ball joints. for me, its going to be gn-u for robots and revoltechs for humanoid figures.
  11. would you by chance have the Aoshima TB1? I saw it in a store and was considering it. googled around for a review and stumbled into this tb2 review
  12. there are advantages, prices of goods just go down to reasonable levels. I just bought a yf-21 gn-u yesterday for $15.
  13. They should just get back to using hard plastic for the pilots like the original 1/48. so that they are forced to scale the cockpit properly or the pilot will not slide in.
  14. I guess its all about redistribution of money. some people loose / some people gain. i'm starting to realize some paper losses on some of my investments. I'll still spend as much on each toy ($100 to $180) but not that amount anymore on a toy which is 90% plastic.
  15. I saw the VF-1D on a recent trip to HK. The next day it was sold out, grrrrr.

    macross toys

with the global credit crunch & all. has macross toy prices gone down in asia?
  17. I like the general aesthetics for yamato toys.

    yamato's next move

at least if they sell it as a set. we'll know its the one with the new arm.
  19. I'm sure glad I didn't get the GN-u plus valks or I would have been tempted with these. Not that I'm too sold on it anyway.
  20. I don't know whats worst- waiting & waiting for it to come out or finding out that there is some QC problem when it does come out?
  21. whatever new VF toy yamato makes. I'll consider buying as long as its not another repaint of the same thing they make. the only thing that will dissuade me is the price of they toys.
  22. can't they just concentrate on new transforming vf from the macross universe.
  23. after they have the 2 seaters. & I buy one, ill reconsider buying more since I have 1/48 valks already
  24. I would vote yes if you already have the yf-19.
  25. whatever happened to the neon genesis live action that was announced way back? it's not that fun watching the re-make in anime again.
