The price for GBP armor alone is about right actually. Goes along with the pic form a couple of threads ago that had two prices on it. Besides, if it was Fast Pack upgrade it would say Fast Pack upgrade instead of Armor Parts, and Graham has pretty much said that's a dead boat. Those hands really do look like 1/48 hands. I hope they scale them down a little.

I knew it... Basara for M7 Thus I still stand with my guess of Macross - Roy, Misa M7 - Basara M0 - Sara M+ - Myung Chase figure I don't know. Maybe Gubaba.

The symbol of the two snakes even appeared in ancient times.

SV-51's feature in Macross Zero ep. 3

Today's Ejection seats have the parachute built in. ACES II ejection seats that the AF uses have two actually, a drogue chute to slow the seat, then the main chute goes. The pilot is attached to the seat two ways. The seat belt, which disengages during the sequence, and the pair UWARS "buckles" that attached to the pilot's flight suit. The suit (flight harness or whatever they call it, I don't remember anymore) has half of the buckle, the other half is on the parachute riser. When you pull the handle, an I-reel pulls you back on the seat using the risers. Canopy goes, seat catapult fires, alond with the vernier rocket mounted under the seat with a gyro to keep you straight. Once you clear the aircraft (there is a lever that is actuated within the seat once it clears the aircraft) the drogue cute fires, slowing you down. There is an atmosphere sensor to determine airspeed and altitude, this tells the sequencer wether the drougue is necessary, example if you eject on the ground the drogue won't fire, there is no need. After the drogue goes, the main chute deploys. The seat belt disengages, the straps are released from their attachment pin on the seat, and the chute pulls you from the seat. The survival kit that is underneath the seat pan goes with you, as at the same time the seat belt is disconnected the seat pan is unlocked, and the kit leaves with you. When you strap in you also connect youself to the survival kit via two buckles. The seat just falls freely and you hope it doesn't hit a cow or something on the ground. If you land in water, the uwars are supposed to release automatically automatically (UWARS = underwater automatic release, IIRC. Life Support handled the UWARS, and flight suit stuff, Egress does the actual explosive seat stuff, and chute shop packed the chutes in the housing assembly, which either life support of Egress would install in the seat, depending if the jet was on the flightline or if the seat was in our shop. Egress is what I worked in while I was in the AF. Those UWARS are all that attach you to the chute. Therefore Shin really would have done a wil e. coyote. -
SV-51's feature in Macross Zero ep. 3

That's a very good and very true catch. Without the rest of the flight suit, he doesn't have the parachute strap attachments. He'll have a seat belt on the ejection seat, but the parachute will not be attached to him. -
Robert's Corner Anime Store still has a couple. Act fast if you want one, they are the last place I've seen that still have it. I'm kind of tempted to get the Masamune Shirow one, too. I don't know yet.

Guess that's it for this one finally.

Love the Unicron vs. Prime pics. May have to get a Unicron after all. Is Prime stable enough for me to pose him like this?

Very nice.

Back to the "what is behind Nora" topic, I took a new pic (found I could use my dvd player software to play the file and get a screen cap), and it looks like a VF-0 to me. The front is clearly white, and headed for Nora instead of the ship, in this pic.

I never noticed that one before. I just love artistic in-jokes. Holy crap. In jokes are great Nice catch. Insert way out there plot tie in - Sharon's designer whatshismane was an Anti-UN sympathizer and that was one reason he set Sharon loose to screw up the works

Another feature on the SV-51 I haven't seen before (or didn't notice), the wings can fold in fighter mode too for a high speed config. When Nora was chasing Shin, after he fired his missles, she dodged and trandsformed into fighter, she did it to catch up. -
Those both look great. The Gouf is one of my favorite designs.

Good way to explain it. Thanks for reminding me what those names were, too. Elda and Chitose. I completely drew a blank this morning. I think the disc was a back-up, but in all honesty I have no idea why Chitose would have left the disc with Chi. Kind of defeats the purpose of giving Chi a clean slate to work from. If anything I would have thought she would have included some form of explanation on the disc for who found her. But then again, why leave Chi out in the trash wrapped up like that? I leave it as a strange plot hole.

There's another unaired episode available at Anime Kingdom. I thought the last one was all there was, so this was a nice surprise. This one is pretty much out of the manga, where the lunch ladies were out of commission and Sosuke, Kaname, and co. have to take over. Even the coach trying to mess things up is in there. Much better than the kidnapping episode.

If you really want the spoilers then fine | | | | | There were two "sisters", I sorry but I can't remember names for crap today. Freya and something else. The landlady and her husband basically invented persocoms and made those two as their children. One of the things they designed them with was the ability to love, but unfortunately, the first one fell in love with the landlady's husband, her "father", and dealing with that led to a system crash. IIRC, he died too, contributing to her crash. At her "deathbed" Chi downloaded her sister's memory into hers to keep the other one with her. This is why the other one is in there. To avoid having the same thing happen to Chi, eventually the landlady set her out, reset her, and watched until someone came and picked her up. Her hope was that she would be able to grow, be happy, and find someone for her to love. The manga explains things better. I think the disc was either a memory back-up, or just an explanation on why she was there. I have to look at the manga later on. I haven't finished reading the last couple, only skimmed through them. The landlady also wrote the Atashi books, I'm guessing Chi subconsiously picked up on those.

They were rookies when they were introduced as Hikaru's subordinates. -
They had flown off still in the middle of their dogfight.

Word! Beautiful, looks like it came that way. I hope Yamato cranks out one like it soon.

I still want my CF.

I loved Zahn's trilogy with Admiral Thrawn, but that's about it on the novel side. Couldn't get into a lot of the other ones. Dark Horse's Dark Empire was pretty good too and some of the Tales of the Jedi (Dark Lords of the Sith), as well as Crimson Empire (the first one only). In Ep. 3 I would like to see some Royal Guards do something more than stand like Buckingham Palace guards. And yes, Anakin was supposed to be a pain in the butt in Ep. 2. If that was bad wait and see the big ego he gets after he carves Dooku up.

Amazing. Can't wait to get mine from Tam. My only quibble is why is the rifle grey instead of black? Other than that, perfect.

It's not like slashdot wrote the article. They just linked it. Natalie Portman can act, just Lucas mucked thing up there. More Samuel L. Jackson throwing down is always a good thing, too.
