The gundam uniforms don't lok too bad. Very expensive though, but save you a step if you plan to cosplay at a con.

I kind of like the setup I have my eva's in. All Kaiyodo except for Unit 01.

One thing about the Kaiyodos is they are very cheap by comparison and have a lot of detail. The metallic verions look sweet too. The SoC's are awesome too of course, but I think Unit 01 will be enough for me. If they do a Unit 05 I'll surely get that and consider a 02.

If you limit to regular mobile suits, a Zaku, Gelgoog, GM , up to a Mk. II or Re-GZ, or something like that, the playing field levels out some and I would generally give the valk the edge. When you step up to the more elaborate, dressed up "main character" suits, it becomes a problem. Funnels, Really big beam weaponry, phase shift armor, and stuff like that kind of turn the tables a little. To the point it could almost turn into another Star Trek vs Star Wars type thought pattern. A reaction missle up anything's @$$ is the end of that fellow, but that missle could be shot down. The range the reaction missile was fired at and how decent the suit pilot is is a factor, and sending it in followng a micro missle barrage could increase its chances of hitting. Likewise, one direct hit from a beam rifle is it for the valk, if the pilot can't dodge or block with the pinpoint barrier (for later valks). For speed and agility, the valk definately has an edge, and the inherent versatility the three modes can give. Mobile Suits have their own advantages, and disadvantages, just like the valks do, there are so many variables given with the different types of mobile suits. How about a Q-Rau?

Definately start with the series, since the movies are the real finale. Death and Rebirth is more of a series summary, and has the first half hour or so of the End of Eva movie after the summary. In theory you could just skip that DVD and go straight to End of Eva. After watching the series so you know what's really going on, and know the characters.

I like my Kaiyodo Eva's. Except for the Unit 01, which I gave to my brother and bought a Chogokin for myself. The Eva 5 with wings is pretty sweet too, just have to watch how you pose it if you put it with the wings on (that's a lot of weight). Gave my blue Unit 00 the Lance from the Rei figure, and like how the setup looks overall now.

GP02 had only 1 nuke. I don't know what yield, but it was big. Someone here may know the actual stats of the 02's nuke grade vs a reaction missle, but the GP02's was surely quite a high yield. Since a VF-1 can carry up to six missles, it again kind of has the edge there though. Even with the heavier armor of some mobile suits, a good pilot can hit the weak spots present on even the most bad ass of mobile suits and sever some limbs. A later series valk has an added edge thanks to the pinpoint barrier the 17,19,and 22 carry, which whould be able to take a beam rifle shot just fine. Funnels could make a valk's life suck. They could be used to help block a micro missle barrage, and if the valk diverts it's attention to the funnels, the suit has an opporunity with it's other weapons. Then if the valk slips too close it could be beam sabered. However, above all else it is true that a reaction missle up anything's @$$ is in generall a win for the valk.

I remember cutting my hand transforming Fortess Maximus. I pinched the side of my hand on tower section (hips in robot). Don't remember how, but I did. Back in the good old days of die cast, you could hurt yourself by dropping the transformer on your toe. They may have had something similar, but I think he was reffering to these "Elemental Warrior" things. Little figures, and they each had one of the rub things to see which element they fought for divied up between the 4 (air,water,earth,fire). There were a lot of them IIRC. Not much posability or anything of course. Maybe I should break my G1 Prime out of storage (I think I still have the trailer too), and put him in truck mode next to my MPC prime. How to pose MPC Prime is the question. Guess it depends on how well he can pose and maintain balance.

Yeah, from Ep. 12. Poor Kazama didn't deserve what happened to him afterward, especially after that effort.

What about funnel equipped mobile suits? Sazabi, Nu Gundam, or Providence could light up several valks. Just for sake of comparison. Regular mobile suit (like the RX-78, Mk. II, Gelgoog, etc.), I'd give the valk the edge.

Basara has a custom VF-19, mylene a custom VF-11MAXL, and Ray/Veffidas a custon VF-17T. Yes the VF-17 Nightmare that Diamond Force uses is the stealth valk.

Oh, and why not!?! Put some pinpoint barriers on the front of an ARMD and it would kick some @$$. H They showed it in the DYRL PS1/Saturn game
