  1. Update from Yacolog... BRAVE series 09 is now Griffon from Patlabor due late September. That means we may not have Legioss + Tread this summer, but I would rather wait for more improvements...
  2. 2007 legioss is indeed something Mr. Kakinuma created when he wrote an article. Not official. Interesting note, tread as we know is Dread 1 and Dread 2 concepts put together with an added cockpit. Dread 1 needed wings so it looks like it'll fly, hence Dread 2. I kinda like Dread 1. Purpose of this thing is to carry legioss from the Mars to the Earth so it didn't actually need wings.
  3. Looks like there are many ways to get Mospeada / Cyclones. Pictured Mospeada is non-scale from Megahouse not Beagle available this fall. They seem to be getting harsh reviews for their Limited Model Action and Palm Action series, but this one is interesting. Best looking Mospeada to me so far. However, Beagle Mospeada is still coming out separately 1:10 scale. Prototype will be shown this fall. Also, CM's mini-mospeada is really cool. All I want to know is whether they connect in soldier mode.
  4. Diecast in the legs would add good weight to it like MP Prime. Although clear stickers and a face part are clearly stated as "renewed", rest seems just the same as SS. We get extra Archeville?? High pressure face?? If he had face like strong wind blown on his face, that would be awesome. (It translates more like an "intimidating face" tho...) Great news. My Megs is on it's way from BBTS as I couldn't find anywhere else that won't rip us off.
  5. Yacolog also mentioned Aoshima's photos look just like MPC. I pulled out my battle damaged MPC for comparison just to break(more like crumble) it's left hand at last. Aoshima site says that their Legioss is 175mm. My MPC alpha came out to be around 173mm. I shouldn't jump to conclusion but they are darn close...
  6. Takatoku VF-1J. I remember that as the most advanced toy back then. I didn't quite "collect" macross toys until Yamato 1/72 YF-19 though.
  7. Just saw info on Kaiyodo page. http://www.kaiyodo.co.jp/revoltech/yamaguchi.html Following are two mass prod. eva accessory list: Weapon Ver. (Friend shop limited): Spear of Longines x1 Double edged sword x1 Dummy plug x1 Damage parts x2 Optional heads x2 Optional hands x4 Display Base x1 Wing Ver. Wing set x1 Optional hands x4 Display Base x1 Looks like you have to get limited edition if you want weapon at all... Just throw spear into wing ver. and I i will buy an army of them!!
  8. I've found preorder for Prod.Eva here, but Lance part is not pictured. (List says hands x 4, wings x 1 and display stand x 1.) Revoltech catalog says wing type and weapon type will be separate products. http://item.rakuten.co.jp/amiami/gds-6760a/ Man, I really want both wing and lance. I guess they just want me to buy both versions and throw away one...
  9. Not sure if these are on web... F type eva anyone?
  10. Robot Kingdom states that they won't do any modifications. However they also state that an item might be seized at customs... http://www.robotkingdom.com/ I am curious to know what the orange plug might look like. Any extra parts around the muzzle would sure look kinda silly. Maybe we can obtain 3rd party die cast barrel parts like 20th prime's long smokestack?
  11. I saw quite a few of them at TRU (Times Square) about 2 weeks ago. I was looking at parents with a little boy picked it up, but a boy wasn't interested at all! (I wish my parents picked me up a Microman Casseteman back in 80's...) A boy probably had no idea what cassete players are??
  12. I see a whole bunch of classics prime all the time. I've seen Starscream and Ramjet only once though, then they disappeared... Prime (or Magnus) is quite a fun toy for me even though a semi-truck without a trailer looks kinda silly. I hope this line continues. I like them better than some of the movie line so far.
  13. Thanks a bunch! I must have missed the feet problem of 0s. I do like VF-0's more than 19's as they were designed recently. I might have to stay on the safer side to wait for a review for Shin VF-0 /w booster set. As far as I understand, YF-19 problem to me is acceptable (Me want valk > Problems). More I think about this, I am not going to wait around for repaint 19s as none of them are announced as of today. My choice right now is YF-19FP set. I hope SV-51 would ignite the demand for VF-0's and we'll find better reissues!
  14. Just figured out. Medicom one seems the first one from 1986-1987. I've read that it has keypad on chest armor. Edit: wrong year...
  15. I've been looking at this Medicom one for a long, long time. I am not sure which version this is. Although I prefer Takara armor and gimmics with MG-34 and Mauser. And, I've JUST missed the Type 92 at both HLJ and BBTS!! Oh wait, BBTS shows "Jin-Roh" ver. coming in June though. Pic shows a MG-34 with a sling. Any Info, anyone??
  16. Hello, MWers. I've been lurking here for a quite a while. Been collecting 1/72s, and purchased 1/48 VF-1S with strike pack and I was quite happy with them (My VF-11 broke before transformation as everyone here probably knows how, but I managed to fix it). VF-11 is definitely my favourite. Anyways, this is after I have seen some pics of VF-1J Hikaru here. It brought back my memory. I've sold some of my transformers collection and purchased VF-1J, GBP, and Konig Monster past year. Now I am looking at either VF-0A or YF-19. Aside from my financial situation caused by the new arsenal, I haven't been able to make up my mind if I should go ahead and buy YF-19 because I expect there might be quite a few color variants coming down the line like VF-1s. I know it might be premature stage for predict future for still new 19s. What gives?? P.S. I also made quick photoshop repaints myself. It's based on original 19, so just the color swap. I honestly don't know how different paint schemes are depending on different color variants. And I am not sure why I haven't done this in fighter mode...
  17. I think they even sell that sign at WF. http://www7.big.or.jp/~katsurao/zakin/ It's a perfect sign for event like WF though. (Like trying to buy uber limited resin kit and what not.)
  18. Left to the VF-0 with booster???
  19. I agree. I used to like Bandai Ingram mod that had cloth from black umbrella (compared to rubber). Joint covers look a bit fuzzy, although I am not quite sure if it is... Compared to the old Ingram toy, it looks incredible otherwise though. If pilot seat slide down outside of the body, I might pay that price. Oh, are there any cover parts for the screws?? I thought CMs toys had those.

    1/100 WF YF-21

Hello, That YF-19 looks awesome. Reminds me when I was drooling over SHE YF-19. Small size makes me think that's probably cool when actually held in hand. The site said only 10 of them were sold at WF2005?? Well, I wouldn't touch that thing then... I wonder how many 21s are sold at WF2007... Anyways, Experten seems to be the guy (Sakurakawa-san) who made the mold and Liquid Stone is the company who sold them. His client list has Liquid Stone YF-19, Yamato Konig Monster(!!) and Toilet seat thing(why???) for the netrunner magazine.... I.H.P seems to be what used to be the Mr. Sakurakawa's modeler group (Now it just links to Experten website). Edit : spelling...
