  1. For some reason, I am also thinking that YF-21 should be able to jettison it's limbs. To find out whether YF-21 can do this is my great concern right now. I really don't see why not though, as someone already achieved this in 1/72 resin kit and that kit looks great to me. Considering 1/60 YF-19 got much sleeker than its 1/72 counterpart, I too think we might have a winner here.
  2. Yacolog reported something I've been waiting for... Yamato Wonder Festival 2007 (Aug 12th) list: 1/15 Garland Factory Color (October Release) 1/15 Proto Garland!!!! (December Release) Motoslave (December Release) I didn't get Garland yet, but I might this December.
  3. I'd have a really nice tank if I paint those clear bits on Brawl. (I am too lazy to paint most of my gundam kits, I never thought of painting TFs.) Brawl looks SO MUCH better with desert color scheme than green. Are clear bits supposed to light up or something??
  4. Megahouse Ridearmor is definitely on my get list, since I am very happy with their Palm Action Orguss (but no, not Nikick...). My question is, why would CM's "rye DOAMA" be very similarly scaled to Megahouse one?? Someone should make this in RAH size. Anyway, I'd rather wait for better Legioss/TREAD than their current proto.
  5. I am also trying to figure out what those pics are showing. Arrows are pointing at what appears to be the lock parts for the arm assembly. It moves down to unlock so the arm assembly can rotate and move toward back, then lock parts moves back upwards. I've read the text, but still sorta confusing by just looking at those pics. I may have to get this, because that seems the only one way to find out. I remember buying 1/72 YF-19 without any knowledge of M+. I just wanted to figure out how that thing transforms.
  6. Parts offer for any high-end toys/model kits is common in Japan (Bandai kits, model/airsoft guns, RCs etc....). Yamato just follows a common practice, I guess. I've heard somewhere(perhaps 2ch) that there are a lot of Japanese customers ordering parts for making customs, so I don't know how Yamato can tell whether the parts they sold were for customs or replacing broken parts. For Japanese customers, Yamato used to have their own forum to report problems/ask questions and they still have tutorials for things like neck hinge problem. If you can read Japanese you do get some extra help.
  7. I'm interested in finding out what GX-41 "Big Combiner Robot" might be. Godmarz or something???
  8. I've read somewhere that this is the first Oshii movie that he didn't write the script by himself. I wonder how this is going to turn out...
  9. From what I remember from 2ch. Japanese 0S/0A owners used to complain that the shoulder parts are loose. Their common solution though was to put wood glue on the ball joint. I haven't seen anyone suggested to tighten screws which might be adding extra stress to the weak arm parts. I've also heard a few owners did put YF-19s back into the box because they were too scared to transform it's neck part. I don't visit 2ch often so this is only to the best of my knowledge. And then, as jenius pointed out, Japanese customers can get parts exchange easily. In one case, they were trying to exchange for rather minor problem like painting job was off.
  10. I think all these have to do with the new Pailsen Files show. No news yet on their website, but it should air "this summer". I can't wait. Meanwhile, I have to get back into the orignal TV shows...
  11. Thanks for the scan!! It has many options, (my choice of) color scheme, extending neck and it stands on it's own. I am leaning toward buying this right away.
  12. >Heroes Looks like Beast Wars Sentai or something... I am still interested to see toy designs tho. I hope they are not trying to get away with PVC non-transformables...
  13. Takara should do both articulated and weapon hands. Articulated hands are fun, but not to be displayed with weapons. I've just converted my AG-Next scope dog into Burglary dog. Now this is the dog I like! I haven't gotten any larger size (1/20, 1/18 or 1/12) ATs yet. I am waiting to see which company releases one with most options. 1/18 Turbo Custom is the better one so far.
  14. I agree. I had a similar problem with one of the front wheels. Then, I've realized that I can adjust that by twisting front wheels inward or outward, kinda like adjusting the camber angle. Then I have 4 wheels perfectly leveled. I hope that helps. Now, I'd like a BinalTech version of Barricade.
  15. Wow, I had no idea how big SS is in the movie, but then how awesome would GI Joe sized SS and Blackout be??
  16. Yes, I cannot wait for more pics of Leader Brawl. Leader Brawl and SS would be more properly scaled as they are tank and fighter jet.
  17. I really like this orguss. Review says it's somewhat loose due to complex transformation, but it's style makes up for it. Made mostly of ABS not PVC. That's a good news. He didn't seem to like Nikick too much though. (If I buy Orguss, I'd pick up Nikick anyways...)
  18. I find interesting that movie prime truck is somewhat bigger than MP prime. It reminds me of classics and original jetfire. Original is so much taller, yet they are similar size in jet mode. It's all about how they transform, I guess. I don't think any transformers were designed with scale in mind tho. BTW, TRU I went was having difficult time getting rid of those protoforms, no other deluxe... They also had Cyber Slammers which sadly turn into the perfect example of "Korejanai Robo". Sale bin had Real Gears though, I had to get all 6 of them. Microchange are back! Camera one has a button click that feels just like Reflector/Microx which was nice. Binocular one has great articulation. Only complain about these toys are their names. (Speed Dial 800?? WTF? Are they out of their mind?) KB toys, however, had great selection of Deluxe, Voyager and Leader toys. I picked up Wreckage and Brawl. No need to explain how good these are.
  19. Brawl is definitely on my buy list. So far, I can only find protoforms near me( picked up Turdimus Prime for lack of choice). Anyway, I've heard that the box of Ultimate bumblebee shows a pic of leader Brawl. I can't wait for any updates on this one. Edit: meh_cd just got the pic above. It IS a leader class!!
  20. Although transformation is simple, could this be parts-swapping central? Considering it's PG-like size, I'd like to see neat retractable head and hands. Now, do the Psycho MK-II!!
  21. I am not sure this needs it's own thread, but I've stumbled upon an update scan from the Megahouse Ride Armor. I think this is discussed at Aoshima Legioss or cm tread thread. This is not the Beagle one, but it is much smaller 13cm tall. Tiny? Well, someone make a jumbo in-scale Legioss like old matchbox then my quest for Mospeada toy is over (beside invids i guess...). Megahouse isn't receiving warm welcome from Japanese fans, but hey, I see a nice Ride Armor here. This features retractable thruster fin. Text says joints will be different and visor will be made of clear part. Oh, 60mm beam cannon will be included too.
  22. I do like the trimmed tache' done by Hobby Japan so much better... Line art shows more familiar ver. of Turn A though. I just pulled out Kapool and FLAT from my closet. I like those better than Gundam IMO. Flat is the ultra super articulated. Lots of fun. Is WoDom finally coming out? I guess not...
  23. It seems Goodsmile diecast tachi is finally coming out, due October. I've picked up Perfect Piece Tachi and put it right back on shelf so many times, but this is the one I would get. http://www.goodsmile.info/products/gsc/2007/gsc0710-01.html The major is 95mm tall. So she is about microman size. Spec says it's "non-scale" tho.
  24. Awesome. I like those extra mags. My Geara Doga would have been a perfect toy if it had extra mags.
  25. Ironhide is an okay bot, I think. (This thing is more like Trailbreaker though) In alt mode, I think that engine/weapon parts are poorly executed compared to CG render. My current favourite movie TFs are Wreckage and Swindle. Don't know if they are in the movie at all. I'd pick up those real gear ones as I liked pre-TF microchange series since I was a child. I hope there'd be something like masterpiece movie prime...
