I think a Vf-4 is a lot more possible than a biger macross plus toy of any kind.

Not to mention Kawamori is a big ass aviation buff. Figures that yamato makes the VF-1 in 1/48 scale...a scale that a lot of model aircraft are in. Hell I wouldnt even be surprised if kawamori was hte one who suggested it. As for battroid packaging. I mean loook at the 1/48. tghat backpack hinge can snap if bent too far up. SO if you shake the box real real rough or the UPS decides to have a superbowl and end it off with a patriot kick(the ball being your valk in box) I am sure the toy might break. The toy aint really fragile but hey I think its a lot less fragile in fighter mode iMHO.

I doubt we will get bigger versions of the line. yamato seems more gung ho on macross zero and the 1/48 Vf-1 series. as a matter of fact, I bet a 1/72 Vf-4 is more possible than a line of bigger macross plus toys. do I want it?course/ Will it happenm? who knows. But even now all we have seen is one small pic of the Yf19Fp sculpt..its been quite a while since the first FP macross plus toy came out and I would think that by now they would have told us something if they were making a big ass version of each. And since we havent heard anything. I think the 19FP will be the last they come out with macross plus for a while./

Hmm I dunno thatr would take away from the aesthetics I believe. that would save a lot of space but im not for it. Especially if they secure it with twistie ties..sick. But I belive its more stable in transit if its in fighter mode since its solid...in battroid theres so many moving parts and such that if shook a certain way, parts are prone to break. thats My IMHO though.

I read in EGM who gave the game a 6/10 that it was overkill on radio chater. Too many conversations going on and crap. it looks a lot better than the previous incarnations who I always thought were good graphically but in terms of gameplay were def lacking. Lord british and vic viper are available although I do believe lord british is from lifeforce? Not sure. not sure if this game also has the F-14G hellcat. it was in the last afd but I never saw it. have any of you? The game might not be as good as ace combat 4...I am sure it isnt but I think it is a good holdover for ac5.. ac5 is set for later this year and the trailer for it SUCKED. What the hell. MAn what a waste of bandwidth. its on the official japanese site if you want to see it. It just i mean shoot it gets you excited but it just shows an e2 hawkeye in the backgroun midway and no other plane. I mean geez. Not even an Su-37 the flagship plane of the series? Bla. I think Ac5 will kick all kinds of ass as long as it has -music from ac2 or the producers of it -gameplay from 4 -selection of planes combined witih parts 2 and 4 - versus mode that doesnt make newbies virtually invincible as long as they tug on the stick and hionk the throttle all the way forward. grrrrrrr Afd has some real interesting and weird looking planes. I have not played it yet sadly. compared to ac4 i did not like airforce delta on x box that much. even the on on dreamcast was subpar...loooked better but was reallkty lacking in game play and the missles werent worth crap.

Hey is the YF21Fp more articulated than the Vf19A toy? I havbe a broken 11B and a good condition Vf19A...I was ijmpressed by the 11B til the legs broke but have yet to buy a YF21. oh yea are the hips as looose as the VF19A's forearm elbow joints?

is the price higher because of the yen exchange rate changing during the past few months? Or is it just that and the yen price is still the same? I want to get a max but I realy would like his TV version1A. Sure the J is real nice but he kicked a lot of ass in the 1A//

yea them walmart planes be huge. Ever hear of BBI? they are making a tru exclusive 1/18 scale F-18. Now that bitch is HUGE. Forking HUGE. You saw their blackhawks and apaches but now they are making a damn modern fighter plane. I think the VF-0 lends itself well to a 1/48 version...its just heaven sent to me. Good size and height not to mention we know yamato will cram it with a lot of detail.

Dr clay is right I was not pissing or moaning or bitching about ANYTHING. Merely a thread for suggestions for yamato to look into if they decide to make the toy. If you all don't want to talk about it thats fine. I was not bitching or moaning about "ooh this eh sucks change it or " "oh man if they dont do this this will be the last time i buy " or "this is too big my god why are people complaining bla bla". The main point of this thread was SUGGESTIONS. For the past few days I think everyone has bitched and moaned in other threads hence the fact that I said keep the scales out of this thread. Well there has been mass sp[eculatioon about whether or not a perfect transformation VF-0 will come out in a larger scale. WHile most of us could barely agree on a single scale, I think it is pretty much a given that we all WANT A BIGGER PERFECT TRASNFORMATION VF-0. Lets throw scales out of the question for this thread. Just enbvision a bigger toy.. So with that in mind I know yamato listens to us sometimes. Maybe not as much as we think or even then maybe a whole lot more than we realize. So what difference does it make? Who knows it might help if Graham relays all our suggestions. WE had that ask kawamori thing a few years back and graham also asked yamato a bunch of most popular question things on upcoming products so maybe yamato will listen to some of these suggestions. here are mine. 1-Swappable nosecones.(like removeable nose cones that show radar underneath only 2 cones...1 short and 1 long) WHy? yamato is anal on detail and they made 2 nosecones for the 1/100...With the 1.48 1 does not have to be removed but for those who are super detail intuitive here ya go. 1 nosecone for fighter and 1 nosecone for battroids. ANd unlike the 1/100...it has a radar underneath like the Vf-1 1/48. 2-NO PAINT ON SWING BARS THAT ARE THE BALL JOINTS. Remember that black rubber shtuff coming out of the hips? And then Shawn told us to sand our balls? Who wans to sand our balls>? Not only does it take time to open up but it could "hurt the " valkyrie in some way. Okay maybe it wont but still its annoying seeing that happen plus the swing bar is gonna chip anyways.(with paint on it) 3-Gloss coating. I love how bandai does it and I think it would make the VF-0 really shine. Not just literally but think about it a bunch of us clamor for the bandai chunky monkey quality and that damn paint finish is one o the things we love. 4-A display stand.It would be nice. 5-Plastic with no "flash" hanging off. Potential for parts chipping there, minimal on my 1/48 Vf-1S hikaru. 6-Color booklet. 7-Doors that conceal the swing bars in f fighter mode. Like in the anime butif not possible at least hidden like the1/48 VF-1 8-Oh yea,. MOLDED non articulated EXTRA hands! Ya know like the TV type hands on the 1/48 Vf-1J? and include those ASIDE from the articulated finger hands. best of both worlds! Either that or make thje moveable finger hands extremely good in gripping and holding the gun pod. 9-Painted missles. 10-HIGH QUALITY STICKERS. No offense but the sticker quality from day one has continued to SUCK. 11-If possible paint or tampo print every essential decal onto the toy. ANd the list goes on. Feel free to add folks. Graham could you pass this stuff onto yamato and see what they think>? Again let us leave scale out of this....thats a battle for another thread. Post suggestions people! Dont feel as if you have to limit urself to a scale just pretened the toy is BIG enough to satisfy whqat you would want and LIST what tyou would want! 7-

naw they were looking for a Advanced variable fighter(aka air superiority) to replace the VF11. unfortunately the VF19 aint cheap so it slowly replaces it after the supernova contest. The VF17 was intently made for surgical strike

I think the only way MOST of us would be happy with another lOw viz is this. has to haev 1-different head..mayeb a J 2-DIFFERENT scheme pattern or low viz camo. 3-PErhaps different squadron markings. As long as its seen to be more of a significantly differnet plane rather than a cheap as way to piss everyone off and get their money eventualy than I think it would do well.

IO actually think i was the other way around. Th airforce needed a bomber and mcnamara forced the navy to do with coomonality and make it their interceptor. The F-20 has a lot of respect from navy pilots and most were looking forward to flying thatr rqather than the F-16N when some of the F-5s got replaced/

I think the F15E gets overlooked. DId it loose any manueverability or dogfight close in knife fighting ability when it became a mud hen? I know it had better enbgines and an airframe stressed for 9g but Still I do wonder.... I don't think the F-18E could take on the A-6.....I totally forgo about the corsair that plane is nice!@ Also looks lke the crusader so you cant go wrong. I think the Tornado ECR is overlooked. looks badass too. If anythign is overlooked I believe it is ASF14 ....the all new F-14 that NOONE thus far has been able to show me what it lookes like. (supposedly a lot differnet than the upgrade tomcat21).

F-8 crusader. A lot o peoelp overlook this in favor of the phantom,. The crusader could haul ass and for a time was the only plane that had enough manueverability in the navy to be deemed a close in gunfighter UNTIL the Tomcat came.(as you all know the phantom could dogfight well but it was not made for it at all...at least the tomcat was made to be mauneverable enough to begin with)> The F-8 is awesome and has the highest or best kill ratio of the war. Not to mention its unique looking and badass.

Graham are BIGGER macross plus toys possible at ALL? I know you ruled out 1/48 but 1/60 and 1/55 are still NICE scales to make them in dont ya think? Then if yamato makes them in 1/60 scale, and a the bigger perfedct trasnformation VF-0 in 1/60 we can all stop bitching and have a line in SCALE!

The VF11b i had was awesome and I preferred it over my 19 as a toy because it was AWESOME. Sleek and its trasnformation was relatively simple. BUt one fateful day it fell and its hips broke off. SO If i were you i would get a 21 nad VF11b. hel they both loook good and chance are we might not see biger scale macross plus toys.

yes and also how big or SMALL is it compared to the VF-1 MPC? Would you stil say its worth it gfor 80$? Please tell us! How tight were the RATCHETS?(lets get this out the way before it comes out since I KNOW peopkle like me will complain lke hell about it....ratchets realy make it or break it as one of my deciding factors as I do not like loose joints AT ALL. )
