Hey people I heard tokyotofeest and winter wonderfest 04 will start on the same day...2/22 AND be held in the same building! Yamato and a bunch of other companies usually unveil a whole bunch of new stuff(like last year with the Fast packs and the 1/60 VF-1J long before that) and it turns out takara will be showing a whole bunch of new stuff. Anyone from here going? I am excited..Noel usually takes some badass pics from wonderfest and some of the other members of this board get a chance to go and its real cool seeing the new stuff they put out. Mayb we get to see the 1/100 VF-0 and other stuff yamato is throwing at us. So anyone going?

Shins still pissed takara and hasbro decided to go lazy and make alternator decepticons repaintd autobots with NEW parts. and especially because they didnt or at least didnt announce accquirring licenses for JETS damn it. dont you agree David?

i honestly would buy it if its not 80$. I got my trendmasters one for 30 nad its got diecast and a bunch of accessories...hopefully toynami makes a bunch of waeposns that came with go lion godaikin and also pilots with cockpits that open. HJopefujlly. It does look good and the balll joints really help the look,...however like with all things toynami the price will make or break...since this is porbably the only edition made....hopefully they dont freak it up like the MPC VF-1J rick.

nice....jl is edgier and teen tiatnas is just fun...i dont expect much out of them like i did with any of the x men shows so most of the dc stuff to me is pretty nice. The BAtman new series seems pretty nice too.

hey I got a trendmasters reissue I think its cool. BUt this one has nice joins I will admi and balljoints are nice but it looks too simplistic to me. Though its sort of nice...the prioce will be the make or break for me. If the thing as a SET is 80$..and i considerably bigger than the original...maybe. But it needs some panel lines nad some detail like the original. If it as box sets 80 each...thats stupidf. anyone know if its boxed altogethere at 80?

looks alright btu that pice kills it i wouild want gloss finish, Man toynami is stupid to charge 80 for a 6 incher. But lets hope they essed up measuring and its actually closer to 8 inche.s

master grade Variables and stand alone enemy mecha would rock. Master grades would be less financial risk...since they can sell a lot more fo those than perfect grades if we are speaking abotu valkyries. then maybe they will have the balls to take on yamato with a DX valkyrie. I wouldnt mind seeing them make a Dx VF-0 with soem diecast and perfect transformation. I dont think yamato handles diecast right but i have faith in bandai doin it right. But I have to say I bet we will see a master grader VF-0 before we see a F-1 master grade stype.

1/60 hikaru become a floppy mess and I lost some parts. I just lost a lot of fun with it once the hips got loose and had cracks....and the npoaitn started scratching off. MAn. the 148 hikaru 1S i got is so phenomenal that I pretty much will never buy a 1/60 VF-1 again unless its a good price or i get desperate...the 1/48 is that much better. I display my 1/660 every now and then but I surely get way more play form my 1/48. yes i said play. Play with it peolpe its not fragile as u all think. Hell the 1/60 is more frragile.

Well I really wonder what coul big west do to commemorate in cooperation with yamato? the 1/100 Vf-0 comes ou int may. At this point noone knows what comes after it during summer. SO maybe something co comemorate DYRL migth come out but who knows. maybe a VF-1S strike 1/60 bundle with regionless DYRL DVD?

well who really klnows? none of us. I wish there was a insider for bandai like we have graham for yamato. Maybe yamato is just concentrating on macross 0 this year instad of DYRL. Seems like the maojrity of DYRl stuff they made was already made last year. The only 2 valks they never made from it were max 1S and kakizaki 1A.

well bandai can compete right....I mean they gto the means they jsut need the damn drive. I thnk if any company were to compete and do it right...it would be them.

From what graham said a few years ago....yaamto was not interested in mospeada because it wasnt too popular or something in japan. Its likea cult following I believe. However I am a fan. Anyways they cant do anything now since toynamis got the license internationally. I want to see bandai get of thei asses and make a perfect trasnformation chunky monkey VF-0. Hell yamato hasnt said they were making a perfect variable yet so a chunkey monkey perfect variable would be COMPETITION indeed against yamatos PVC 1/100. Not to mention licenses are for scales right? They jsut need a 1/55 license...hell even 1/48 since yamato doesnt have it yet...or do they for the VF-0? Anyhoo bandai also distributes macross 0 on dvd so I think getting the license wouldnt be that hard,

This year if bandai does somehing with macross 0 toys and a strike reissue along with elint and super o...I willl be in heaven. Now that I think about it....theres nothing stopping bandai from making a chunky monkey 0 now is there? AHA! This wouild provicde yamato with the motivation to counter with a perfect trasnformation big ass Vf-0! But I guess Bandai is what I would really be surprised by at this point

I think the only economically yamato bundle would be a 1/48 grey focker with Fast packs and Yv hands and hikaru figure plus roy like graham suggested a while back and told yamato about. A 1/60 hikaru strike would be nice too. In fact an all new scale Vf-1 toy would be nice but I really doubt yamato woul do it....I find myself realizing that I would be more impressed by seeing bandai actually DO something toywise this year with macross rather than seeing yamato make another toy. But who knows yamato wants money and this is a good time to cash in.

crap!!! arrr damn it I got my hopes up! Hmm. Hopefully bandai actually DOES something htis year....i did notice they reissued a bunch of their kits and crap this year. Including thei variable Vf-1s at HLj. So I do hpe they do more than a strike reissue this year.

New bandai DX valkyrie? Where did you hear this? This is the frist I heard of it! Maybe bandai wanted a 1/48 scale but then yamato made it impossible with theri license for the 1/48 scale VF-1....so maybe they would do the nexct logical thing and make it 1/32? Where did you hear the rumor? is it from a credible source?

Hey hey hey. Toynami out of the blue is celebrating the 20th anniversary of DYRl with new supersuckable repaints. Meh. Equal pass. Anyways. It dawned on me that this is the 10th anniversary of macross plus and also more importantly the 20th of DYRL. With that in mind. I was wondering. IS yamato doing anything for the 20th anniversary? With bandai doing perhaps, NOTHING, is yamato doing anything?> Surely this is a great way to cash in and introduce new products. the qrau is out soon and the 1/48s already have the majority of the DYRl paint schemes shown before...so at this point what could yamato give\? Perhaops special edition Fast pack 1/48 bundles? Who knows? coincidentally isnt it the anniversary for flashback 2012 as well? VF-4 anyone? If toynami is doing something I would trhink yamato has something planned too being that they got the license and all in japan.

Shin still tinks toynami is using this to take advantage o f the legal stalemate and issue a NMPC VF-1S in DYrl colors with a freaking strike cannon. Boosters on MPC fast packs are removwable for what? Who the hell knows...unless they can swpa there is NO use for them to be taken off. therefore I belive a cannon is in the works. Back in da day From what I remember toycom was able to put out DYRl valks....so ya this is weird. I feel a dvd Dyrl and other crap coming out from HG. fortunately bandai has long ben rumored to reisuse the strike this year. Bandai and bigwest along with yamato could destroy HG in lgal battels I belive. BUt yea I hope BIg west gets back to graham quick....maybe then not only will hje be able to tell us what they told him but also yhamatos upcoming pans...

well No matter what yamato will always destroy toynami in the toy field. So nothing to really worry about. BTw the kaiyodo C n M capsule figures look better than those supersucakbles anywyas

watch them makema toyfare exclusiv batle damaged MPC strike cannon for the FASt packs. Always wondered why they made the booster tips removeable.

not really. think about it. LAst time graham spoke of it the Yf19FP was almost done with its REVISION that prevented it form being released in july. HIs post was like in december. I dont think its too far off.
