110$ on a bandai fire valk and 137$ on 1/48 hikaru. man do i feel stupid for paying that much for a bandai fire vlak in 97...

guys. I noticed rubber leaking from my 1/.48 hikaru 1S' legs. SO i opened the hip joint and sanded the balls with a nail clipper surface thing. I got the paint off, and put the hip back togethere. NOW the thing is...the hips are now more looser! NOt a bad thing but I was wondering was this common? The rubber no longer seeps out but I was wondering if.. a-if it was common if the legs seemed looser after sanding the paint off of the diecast balls. b-is there anything to remedy the looseness? not terribly bad and it stll stands real secure and real good..and sturdy...just a bit annoying.

to my knowledge the Af117X wasnt vg...jsut biger winged... equipped with afterburbning ge414s and an internal cannon. I think it could have been a good knifefighter. Looks very awesome.

Ys know that blue and white custom paint scheme used on one of the custom hasegawa/ihps that transform is AWESOME. Hopefully yamato offers the YF19FP in 2 flavors...normal and that custome blue and white.

The US has some mIg 29s, older migs, and a handful of Su27s that were destined for another country but bought by the US when they negotiated a deal with that country(not russia itself rather the country russia sold the planes to) ON the new flankers like the 35, maybe the 30mki, aand definitely the 37, the rearward nosecone is a rearward facing randome.

how is it pointless? The only reason people are paying 80 for the damn thing is because its the only alpha series of toys coming out anytime soon. EVERYONE on this board WANTS to pay LESS for this thing. I dont see how paying a more reasonable price is flawed.

its not that we are skeptical for the most part...is the DAMNED SMALL size and the BIG price we are paying for somethin so small! I would gladly [ay 50$ for this thing dude. with 60$ maybe...80$=wait till price drops. I am sure it will be a good toy but niether that nor the VF-1 should be 80$. The 1/48 we had to pay a lot for since 1-it wasnt released domestically and thanks to our GREAST FRIENDS at HG...probbaly wont see it 2-the price the etailers like kev and tam were charging werent too different from the japanese msrp which is a GOOD thing. One more thing...the alpha is domestic....same with hasbros optimus prime anniversaryu edition...nmopw nthat thing is a foot tall and weighs 3 ppounds and has a btter qc record than toynami does.... when stuff like that comes out for a reasonable price of 63$....it makes me rethink buying the alkpha. bear in mind 15,000 is not a lmited number and prime is iunb/w limited and mass market saturaation/

Ya know that Su30mki is a big threat but that article does not go into detail of how russian pilots are always relegated to depending on GCI. I read about that in my flanker sim booklet. Its often brought up how the F-4s in the luftwaffe were able to take on the east german fulcrums and take advantage of them since theyh were so gci dependent...and further more annhuilated them in mock battles. (I think this was during the reunification of germany where the airforce was taking time for the pilots to get used to and reorient training togethere). It also does not go into detail about how hard that damn radar is to use in the flanker! Trust me its nowhere near as eay nor understandable as US teen fighter radars! Capability yues ease of use hell no. I dont even think the flanker is HOTAS yet. Now if the Su30MKI was US avionics based, HOTAS, and in the hands of a skilled pilot....then...crap...thats a freaking threat... I cant comment on russian dogfighting techniques but david or anyone in the know...are they known for being knife in masters? I have heard rarely anything asides from them getting show shot down by iaf phantoms while flying egypotian migs and some in korean mig 15s getting shafted by sabvers.

a singl missle of course has a lower RCS but if you have missles spread out on a set format...like 2 on each side, 1 fuel tank under each wing, and 2 jdams under each wing...I think that would kil stealth.

well the Aim 9X and the bombs are rounded suirfaces and not angled....so that pretty much kills the stealth right there when put on the outside. That is my view on it. Tahat in addition to pylons.

You all know I could care less about stealth really. I mean it is nice and all but I think it works bst on the lockheed skunmkworks previ9ous works including the raptor and the northorp black widow... So if the JSF sacrifices stealth to use outboard sidewinders so be it.....but ya know since stealth is sacrificed with external stores it really makes it no better than an F-16 asides avionics. I think the F-16C b lock 60 has a greater payload.

uhm not really. Being fair is charging 40$ for the alpha and 80$ for the beta. Wouldnt you much rather pay that insted of an 80 $ alpha and 140$ beta>?

actually dude the ADMISA are being released here......the new mold MSIA without the crappy quality all new mold will be released as a deluxe. the mega size DX is a retool of the freedom 1/60 with lights and sounds and I presume ABS. It will retail for 40$. the metal material are no longer metal...they wil be the 7.5 inch SEED gundam figures with NO idecast and all plastic. Those retail for like 15$.
