  1. LOL man that is awesome. They seem like our board only a lot more brutal. OT what the hell is ikkoutasen>? Hmm I wonder if yamato will go ahead and announce a big ass VF-0 sooner than then expected due to the reactions of fans in japan.
  2. hey imode have you been able to transalte any of those threads? know emiko used to btu I dont think she is part o these boards anymore.
  3. me 2 randy...me 2. The 1/48 is awesome.
  4. I am not sure. I think they are linked on this site in the links page. But all I got was the official homepatge. Maybe its somewhere on there or perhaps maybe its linked to macross compendium.
  5. you guys seem to forget that a lot of japanese fans from the yamato and big west BBS try to go here and translate often so they can talk about our scoops on their boards. Remember when Graham said he had to be more mum on scoops because the qrau was announced too early and a lot more stuff was given away? I don't think the 1/48 effectively killed the 1/60 line...BUt I know it sold very very well. I am not sure but I think the 1/48 hikaru 1a sold a lot btter than its previous 1/60 inception...remember how one month later yamato was sold out of the 1/48 a form its warehouses? That means high demand. Now we see the bandais sitting and gathering dust on te shelves. The japanese market must clamor for accuracy and such if they would let such classic gems sit and gather dust while the initial run of 1/48s for a time flew off the shelves. NOW while I do hate the transformation at least this thing is accurate and detailed as well as presumably cheap. BUt like toma said earlier if this thing was pfcttform in ANY scale I would be all over it as well. I think we need to see more pictures of the transformation. From what I can see, I think the whole nose and cockpit/fuesalage section needs to be swapped out. The locking point in fighter mode is cleverly hidden by the LERXes and the heatshield/chest section. I think the nose might actually the only thing you swap out unless the backpack has to be swapped as wel...although I do see folding points on the vert stabilizers. NOw what would make this thing cool is to include a stand. BUt even if I am convinced the transformation is a lot more simpler than I tend to think I would still hold hope for a perfect transform. I could throw accuracy out for a toy like tha...has to be ya know for the most part accurate but something in the likes of the 1/48 VF-1...now that thing ....oh lovely. IF we get a VF-0 like that then kick as I am all over it.
  6. I am thinking the 19 will come out after the 0. march-max april-super 48 miria may-0 june? maybe the 19! thats ONE YEAR YAMATO ONE YEAR! GIVE US SOMETHING LKE INFO OR A PICTURE!
  7. yea thats what i am thinking..its swap out. If anything its gonna look better than theri previous version either way. I just want to know whyt we havent seen the damn thing at least and if I am right hell a elast we finally know why after months of wondering ya know? funny we see the 0 before the 19 when the 19 was announced much earlier. wait i could be wrong neermind
  8. Hey guys. as you know the YF19Fp was announced this past july. Noone really knew if it was going to be perfect transformation or not. Some on this board want all accuracy and the swap tranformation doesnt bother them on teh VF-0. so with that i mind I made this theory... COuld yamato be testing sales and such of the VF-0 1/100 swap out before they show or release the YF19FP? its been a LONG ass time. Maybe they want to know the fans reactions to teh swap VF-0 since tyhe YF19 ...for the sake of speculation MIGHT have swap out transformation! If fans like it then maybe yamato will go ahead and set it out for production. As more detailed pics of 0 come out the fans in japan who see the mags before us will certainly form some sort of reacion and later we will when we get the news and scans. And if yamato notices a lot of fans being upset..maybe they will go back to the drawing board and rdesign it with perfect transformation. or MAYBE they have designed one with swap out transformation and 1 with Perfect transformation...maybe THATS why it took them so long to even show a darn picture. SO with that mind maybe they are really testing the waters with the VF-0 1/100. Graham ifg you can comment please do! It never made sense to me why theyn would show the 0 before the 19 until i made this theory. I remember graham saying the sculpt of the yf19 was actually done in july but there was a setback back then. NAd who knows they mgiht have made it 1/100 scale.
  9. naw its appropiate, remember the legendary 1/60 vs 1/55 no swap, swap out vs battle debates back when the details of the 1/60 was announced and how it was revealed some time later u needed to swap parts? It wasnt out yet and we did the same thing. MOst of us want to see more better pics and detailed shots of transformation but i think its cool to get everyones opinion as of now.
  10. dude i agree. I would save up aofr a 1/48 zero ina heartbeat and disregard everything else. Care to add battoid dimensions as well>? I want to knowhow tall this badboy will be
  11. smoekscreen is tons HARDER to transform. At first. evben afterwards the yamato is designed with such genius that it FLOWS quiter nicly. what the hell is wrong with you people this thing is not as dellicate nor as fragile as you think its a TOY! yes i have one! all my models are broke but this TOY stands quite well and i got big huge hands! that dont always follow what my mind tells them to do! transformation to me is down to almost 2 minutes. Dont force anything and study it thoroughtly. hell i transformed it fwithout looking at instructions first tiome i opoened it. sure it aitn a breeze like a 1/55 but its still a breeze nonetheles. Dont vbe afraid...ENJOY it! while u let him rot in dust he begsyou to play with him! BTW for compariosn the MPC is a LOT LOOSER. Sio the 1/48 is mega spliod and the leg ratchets are on par with the bandai 1/.55
  12. dude I did read that. He only showed us scans. I am asking if he will be able to take pics himself or if yamato sent him those publicity pics that they usually send when they make a new product. Remember when macrossworld revealerd the VF-1A hikaru 1/48 and we had those real nice pics? Those are the kind I am talking about. Of course he has seen more stuff...I wonder if we will be able to see what he saw.
  13. hey like drew...i dont think we need to worry about detail....for all i know yamato sacrifices everything else(1/60s being loose hipped, and other things like ..wait tab B on YF19 LOL) for DETAIL. yamato is pretty good with detail so this PVC bastard might be extremely durable, detailed and most of all.... PLAYABLE WHOOHOO!
  14. i shall get bnoth. i just hope this thigng is really stable and for the most part does not have LOOSE hips. Teh transformation doesnt seem so bad for something that i like to think is a "gundam fix" of macross toys. I really want to see fully painted pictures and at least pictures of a transformation. Graham any word on when yamato can greenlight you to show us some shtuff?
  15. the only thing that worries me is how loose the legs can become in robot mode....well since its pvc i trust it has enough resistance to not fall out not to mentioj its light....my 1/60 hikaru has loose ass hips and will fal out once leaned toward ground. its like a rag doll. compared to my 1.548 who is firm andtight. gez none of that sounded right. since there is no diecast weighing the leg down let us hope that the hips and ball joints give enough resistance not to be loose.
  16. hey mecha in many ways i feel the same way as u do. i really feel ya man. the main reasons i am getting this even if a biasss 0 shows up ater with perftransform uis 1-cheap 2-hell its a 0 and u all know how much i asked abou the damn thing this past summer lol shin who highly agrees with mecha about the 1/.48 0....how can it be too big?loook at the qrau and like he said the MONSTER. hey leasrt we know if it umps ship itll still be under 200$...u guys forget that the main difference is legneth with tthe vf-1 not overall girth in battroid crap that didnt sound right at all
  17. i would olnyl be 15 inches long for 1/48 form the dimensions i hav heard. thats not too big. the qrau is still bigger so i still think the VFZ-0 sis feasible enough to make thje jump. if its 1/60 then by all means cool
  18. i agree with that.....but like i said as long as yamato makes abig ass perfect transformation 1/48 later...then i am fine. regardless i will pick one of these badboys..,.up. sure the 1/60 needed swap also but i think since this thing is made of PVC i think the joint tension shiouldnt be as high therefore it wont be as loose as the 160/...reminds me of a big scale MSIA figure which aint bad at all.
  19. hell yea bring on them 1/48s!!!! oh yea nad a fleet of these 1/110 bastards wont be that bad...i mean hell affordable and hell...GOOD size...VF1B size? AWESOME!! Also DURABLE PEOPLE DURABLE!!!! Hopefully yamato factory workerws dont screw up like bandai did and put everything togethere while paint is still wet.
  20. Hey everyone. With the announcement of the VF-0 which I bugged about horrendously past summer. I have returned to make another yes another INFAMOUS POLL BY SHIN DENSETSU KAI 7.0! with Vf-0 my return was inevitable. So i made this poll. How do you all feel about the new toy and its transformatiohn? Sure cheap yes...but with that comes a sacrifice...no perfect transform. here we havea almost "gundam fix" feel to a macross line.. NOt bad at all especilaly considering the price. But many of you like me crave perfect transform ....spooiled by bandai and the yamato 1/48 as well as hell even the darn little banprestos,. So with the price how can you go wrong...but with that transformatiuon will you enjoy it? I will buy one most likely since i love the ddesign so damn much but i would LOVE to buy a big ass perfect transform version later down the line. Come on yamato make this bnastard 1/48!! whjo cares if its ghonna be like 15 inches long its gonna RULE!
  21. me 2 dude...i wanted to here minimal diecast, perfect transformation, ABS GLORY~! however i feel it is a given that yamato is making a bigger VF-0. you think they would let the series end without making a big ass VF-0 to capitalizer on it? please you KNOW its gotta be coming people/.
  22. yes but with nishikawa san...i dont think anyhthing matters...loook what he did with the 1/48 and the 1/60////got rid of the SWING bars on the sides! BTW graham is Nishikawa doing anythign for the macross line anymore? Like ya kno working on the bigger perfect transformation VF-0?
  23. eh guys I Guess I was right...this IS going to be highly toyetic...I mean its likea gundam FIX version of valks think about it! 1-scale in the hundreds range...1/100 2-PVC? the hell thats what the Fix toys are made of! 3-swappable transformation parts? on par with gundam FIX! 4-lots of accessories? again loook at gundam fix. 5-highly detailed enough for sith graham to like it/?(we all know he loves detail remember when he slammed bandai and praised nyamato on the 1/55 hikaru reissue review?) 6-price range close to gundam fix! Without a doubt I think for certain this bastard can take a beating and wont break that easilty. I mean come on PVC? hn,,,,/.///as long as i know in my heart a bigger bad ass perfect transform version will come out i can buy thisone for cheap and not give a damn. but why yamato1! bitching over. graham please show us this thing! Could bandai have been planning a fix line of valks and yamato n relased this to counter it? UH OH LOL * remember when one of the FIX designers was interviewed and spoke of wanting to do FIX with other robots?*
  24. Hmm since Graham cant tell us if there will be a bigass kill em all end all alpha opf the omega VF-0 later on I will take his reply as a "YES" come on if he can't tell than obviously he is hiding something yamato does not want companies like bandai to hear just yet. LOL . Graham will you be able to show us any detailed pics of all 3 modes and accessories? and of colors? Also was this waht shawn was going to update aas well?
  25. here i a perfect box -styrofoam -hardcore heavy duty cardboard -window box -yoshitaka amano box art -kanji embossed in gold -box in color of respective alpha packaged within -certificate as diecast laser etched plaque hey i tried lol
