Well, I say you're an RT troll who enjoys drumming up threads that he KNOWS will incite riots... You're a troll and a traitor to the website! (take him away....)
-
What if freaks from RT.com DIDN'T come to Macrossworld to spread their gay love to everyone because people there couldn't stand them anymore? Seriously man... just leave. Trust me, EVERYONE will be happier that way.

being overweight or liking cheesecake does not imply that one is a girly man. In fact, I'm quite certain I could go pound for pound with you on a bench press, if not surpass you. Implying a situation like you are points to an insecurity on your part. I suggest you address it

God forbid anyone accuse YOU of being cultured.... anyway.... I hear Carnegie Deli has the worlds greatest cheesecake... I never tried any but my sandwich was good enough Unfortunately we didn't get a lot of time in NYC (we were on our way to Montreal for a convention and we had an overnight delay on our flight), but it was fun!

It's here...Shadow Chronicles screenshot!

well the artwork looks at least passable... I'd have to see animation and sound with it before I'd pass final judgements.. initial thoughts from that screenshot: -props for evolving away from previous appearances -hella demerits for fooking up Scott's iron perm (lol, couldn't resist) -
Is it just me, or does the armor almost look TOO big? I still love it either way though!

yeah, while wonderfully functional, it's about the most UNCOSMETIC joint ever produced for a toy (next to maybe the dreaded swing-bar). Hence, no one really uses it. Out of 5 1/60s I own, I think I've turned ONE leg. Other than that, I've only messed with the pivot to make sure the holes line up in fighter mode.

I had the pleasure of meeting Kevin once at a comic convention. He was actually a pretty nice guy. I asked him about their Macross stuff and he was readily in agreement that there is probably a better way it could've been done, but Palladium is all about inter-lacing all of their games so they can be used together if players wanted... hence he tried to make it fit into that system. He admitted to not being a true die-hard fan of the series at that time (he says he always liked it, but only later became a big fan, but the game books were almost completely written by then). I think if he had it to do all over again, he would've gone in a completely different direction... certainly a faster-resolving system.

Yeah, there's probably a private website for the 10 owners somewhere to discuss their godliness Owner one: "my YF-19 r0x0rZ the phat ONE!!!!111111" Owner Two: "Dud, weeee r so l33+..." Owner Three: "some guy offered me his custom VF-17 Milia and his soul for mine..." Owner Four: "DUDE ru gonna sel?" Owner three: "Hell nooooooo......." Owner Five: "DAMN, doz ne1 have a spare part BP9? Mine is teh hAxoRz..... oh, and this site rox@@!!!" Owner Six: "owner 5= phuuuuuuuuucked" ..... and so on.

(in all honesty, I'm amazed this post is still running... these never seem to last long) I like them both. I almost like M7 better than Macross Plus. More to the point, (with the sole exception of the last episode of Zero), I've yet to see a part of Macross that I didn't like. In fact, I feel that those who hate M7 are showing a decided lack of security in their manliness, or are in fact, not real men at all MII? Bah, cool mechs and women with big titties. Lots of explosions and death, what more does a good anime short-series need? ( not enough time for a real story)

I would argue "Air Combat" was pretty revolutionary in the mid-1990s when it made it's debut. Granted, after a year or two of playing AC4/5, I felt like someone threw the "retarded" switch when I tried to play AC1 again, but we've come a long way since those days. (And I always did think some of the music was catchy... fortunately for me, the Disc plays in my CDplayer too.)

that's a pretty tight little video. They did a really good job of marrying the footage and the sound!

A Trio of Hero's set to join the cast of X3.
Skull Leader replied to UN Spacy's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I'd say that's highly subjective. I loved both X-men movies. I thought a good job was done in converting them from the comic book to the silver screen. Sure I'd love to see more of some of the other X-men that weren't really shown (my favorite X-man, Colossus, only got a few seconds of screentime in the second one), but I understand budget limitations are at work here. Both of the movies did well at the box office and again on rental/DVD sales, so I wouldn't exactly call them "Vapid", but a "success". UN, was there any info on whether or not Colossus would be a bigger player in this movie? -
lol, yeah... I guess I just figured on people still being able to readily find the real thing... but you're right!

I don't recall ever fighting Maria Barnrose a second time... I remember the fight over the snowy fields (she flies a VF-1 identical to Milia Jenius'). My copied version of the game never had a problem, I was able to get both endings, but I ALWAYS chose Suzie as my wingmate. Choose Suzie and do NOT shoot Gilliam when he stands you up... if you've already tried this and it's still not working, I don't know what to tell you You're really not missing that much in the GBP-11C. It's only slightly different from the GBP-1S in that it also has nuclear warheads (which while fun to shoot are only really good for shooting at capital ships with)

In my opinion, VO pretty much humps the monkey's ass. It has a story about as exciting as watching grass grow (without the benefit of time-elapse photography), control is difficult to master, and it's glitchy has total hell. Let's add boring music to that and you have a game that is better suited to ritual suicide. (again, just my opinion) #1, DYRL (PS/Saturn) #2, VF-X2 (PS) #3, SDF Macross (PS2) Honorable Mentions: #1, Macross 2036 (Super CD, available through emulation): good soundtrack, and colorful graphics. Komilia is HOT! #2, Macross: "Skull Leader"/"Love Stories" (PC98, available through emulation), I lump them together because LS is really more like an add-on (some extra missions, including a Miss Macross contest!) loads of fun if you can figure it out. #3, Macross (Famicom, available through emulation or cheap mass-game home console knockoffs). I'm sorry... for good clean fun (in the old rack-up-the-points style) it doesn't get much better (or simpler) than this.

I have a few brits in my trombone studio here at Wichita state... they're anything BUT effeminate. (although, we DO rag them about Tea time and the metric system, it's all in good fun, as they do it right back..) A "souped up" newer model of Firebird would suit the movie nicely.

I didn't know that... that sucks. I can't stand that guy. He is like the new Kevin Costner. Funny you say that I was just thinking how YOU reminded me of Kevin Costner... In all seriousness, I'm sure the movie will score. People seem to go for movies along those lines.

KR was the bomb yo! Say what you will about Hasslehoff, he's popular, he's rich, and german chicks everywhere TOTALLY dig him (this is of special interest to Agent ONE: Recently, in my college newspaper's "opinion" column, a vote was taken, and of the girls surveyed, 75% would've rather sleep with David Hasslehoff over Arnold.) I'm remotely interested in this new movie as well... supposedly Hasslehoff will be starring.

Proof positive that the genepool is short on lifeguards... his parents never should've been allowed to breed.

Besides the fact that the D&D realm is entirely a subjective thing (it is what you make it, more than anything else), I don't see how any one movie could be representitive of it... the first one was a total fumble. Now if they did a movie about the Heroes of the Lance or whatnot, THAT would be different... (you all know you want to see Caramon haul flint onto the boat at Crystalmir lake completely against his will! Seeing a well-acted Raistlin on screen would be totally badass also)

Aircraft VS super thread!
Skull Leader replied to Shin Densetsu Kai 7.0's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
what's wrong with a Tomcat with it's wings deployed? (how I like it best), and it may be accurate on one count... one of the big things in the series is that the pilots want to save fuel because of money, so you can bet the pilots try to ensure an economical flight whenever possible... so the Tomcat probably has the engines throttled back whenever it can. -
robotech is nto a bootleg no matter how you dislike it. they paid for the right sto macross, It's still a bootleg. Why anyone in HK would want to take something that is "the suck" and waste time making DVDs of it is beyond me.
