    yeah, I really love that Columbia felt like a living, functional city compared to Rapture. There's something just surreal about being able to walk the streets of a city and just experience people going about their daily lives, all the while knowing that something decidedly wrong is going on here.

    I think I like the idea or arcee more than I actually like arcee herself. Also, as much as I like MMC and their craziness, I still think Perfect Effect's motobot looks better.

    definitely, Game of the year for sure. BTW, how many people actually found the guitar easter egg on their first playthrough I think that was my single favorite piece of character interaction in the whole game, it's kind of surprising that it's fairly hidden.

    I've already got an RVF-25 through NY, I want one for less than $180USD before shipping.

    Like I said, screw that noise. I still refuse to pay more than $200 for one. I'm more pissed I missed an opportunity to snag a $140 RVF-25.

    I wanted A VF-25 v2 and I wanted it for under $200. I got that, so I'm fine with being picky on anything else.

    I still haven't, not that I've been particularly diligent. I don't think I would have gone for it at that price though.

    yeah, that sounds a pretty steep to me even without the armor parts I'd say 13k about right.

    So I've got this weird twinge of want to buy a VF-0... What issues should I look out for (disintegrating biceps, etc.), what versions were better in terms of durability/QC, what's a fair price to pay for one now?

    yes. but yeah, I totally blew off school work to get some gaming done this spring break. had to spend the last 24 hours jamming on this book I'm supposed to be butting together for Wednesday. maybe I'll get lucky and have a day or two this weekend to finish up DS3 pure survival and maybe get a second run of infinite going.

    This is going to sound really strange coming from me but I think I'm overall most impressed with the detail and finish of the cockpit. Even more oddly, I think I like the less naked version you did years ago; would love to see that one fully painted. That said, great work all around.

    the armor parts (except for the head and shield) are fully painted, the inner frame is bare plastic. Originally I applied dry transfer decals directly to bare plastic then clear coated it, but the clear coat started chipping and flaking so I decided to strip the whole thing, buy some water slide decals and paint it up semi-proper.     The gold decals and stickers both look like crap (trust me, I tired both). When I did mine, I just a gold Gundam marker and some future floor polish ( http://www.amazon.com/SC-Johnson-11182-Pledge-FutureShine/dp/B000ARPH4C ). I took all the black parts and stuck them to skewers with blu-tack, painted in the gold by hand with the Gundam marker, then dipped each piece in a cup of future after the gold paint had dried. I dipped the parts a couple times to get a solid clear coat and called it a day. MSN-06S Sinanju (Compete) 12 by Mike - drowning in plastic, on Flickr I did the same thing for the orange vent pieces.

    So, did anyone else get Robot damashii Tallgeese 1? I got mine Friday from Amazon. I dig him a lot, even though he's basically just Tallgeese 3 with new head, shoulders and weapons. surprising thing about him is that the weapons and shield are totally new molds. I fully expected to see the same shield and doper gun from the leo option set, but instead they're completely new pieces sculpted and sized exactly the same except for how they mount to the toy and a few tiny, inconsequential details.
