  1. What would you value your customs at. Hobby supplies aren't cheap. Plus the time you put into them. For someone who didn't have the supplies it'd probably cost 200-300$ dollars to do customs like that.
  2. Hehe.. She does look likes she's praying.
  3. This is the Best I can get.
  4. The most expensive toy I ever bought was a 3,000$ supercharger for my car. That was STUPID! Fun but stupid. The most expensive Macross Item I have is The Gold Book Closely followed by the super VF1J. My stupidest macross purchase was paying full price for a Toynami Rick VF-1J.
  5. can somebody post a screen cap of the missile volley pose from the green q-rau from SDF Macross?
  6. Those are awsome. The hands for my VF-1S fell apart this week, so if the're recast I'm definitly down for a set.
  7. As Macross World Turns...... There's no need for daytime TV. I just come here
  8. OMG. Both of those are beutiful. I think I'd go For DA"S. No offence to Blaines. I'm just more of an artsy type of guy. For the M+ Isamu Day dreamiing is a definitly a must have.

    1:48 TV hands recast

Thanks Rohby I got mine today. They look great. As good as the originals if not better. Thanks
  11. The Quality of the DVD's is OK it's just the subtitles that need work. They are manegable, just a little distracting. I wouldn't mind seeing an Orguss 2 toy as opposed to the original orgroid.
  12. Has anyone had their 1/48 hands fall apart on them? First the backside popped right off. Then I was looking down in the floor for it and then the fingers went. Of course My dog who loves eating anything macross is able to gobble down the pinky finger while I'm attempting to pick everything backup. I just thought it was odd that they fell apart like that. Of course now I have, a pinky-less VF-1S.
  13. The story and character developments. It' my favorite soap opera. For me the Mecha is just icing on the cake.... Well Ok, It's the coolest icing I've ever seen. The thing about transforing mecha is its hard to make look proportional with different transformations without anime magic i.e. transformers. The VF is a well thought out mechanical masterpiece. It's proportional in all three modes and is a very realistic mecha. Plus the VF as a significant purpose. Other mecha shows are cool and all. But atleast Macross has a good explanation for having 50 foot tall robots.
  14. Thanks for sharing the info. But please leave what was said in the other thread in the other thread. There's no need to carry on personel vendettas. If you feel there is, atleast take it to PM.
  15. I downloaded it about a month ago from one of the ftp servers. I'm pretty sure it's still there.
  16. WORD! I love my 1/60's, and WORD again on the fastpack upgrades. I got so bored the other night I drilled holes in Hikaru's legs. When I was done I was test fitting the armor and realized the arms wouldn't take the armor. DOH! I'm going to have to invest in a nice dremel tool.

    Q-Rau Review Now Up

Keep in mind there is a 20-30% markup in price for us to get these toys in the US. I keep seeing auctions for the Q-Rau beetween 80-95 dollars. I paid 115 shipped for mine. Of course there will be a markup for the US dealers to make some profit for the service of getting these toys to us. Plus, Yamato's target market is for Japanese fans. Who probably, like us, are in there late 20's or early 30's. The point is, Yamato's toys are for a very limited niche market. Domestic then abroad. Not many companies are going to be producing toys of 20 year old anime with such a limited market. For Yamato to keep producing Macross toys, the individual prices are going to be higher than different toys marketed to other fan bases. I feel that the price is completely justifiable in order for fans to get "high caliber"(My opinion) macross toys.

  19. Heres a Familiar shot. I hate the stupid flash on my camera. OOP forgot pic
  20. Wow Version #3-Mikimoto Looks awsome and so does Blaine's Version #4 They both are on opposite ends of the spectrum. If I had to choose beetween one I think I would pick Dangaurd's. If both are made I may pick up both. What is the timeframe on production?
  21. The Poor 1/60 VF-1S nevery gets any love

    Q-Rau

I'm sure they will be floating around for awhile. Nothing has been said about this bieng a limited release. I don't think we'll see 300 dollar Q-Raus on Ebay

    Q-Rau

Auctions on E-bay are already up for the Q-rau. The Box looks really good. I'm glad to see a yamato box with something other than a VF. Now when are the Regults coming out?
