  7. Yep, Just like when I search the word "Macross", I get hit with various non Macross items (Including someone selling women's handbag?????. Sellers place the word "Macross" in the description to attract potential buyers, as a result sellers auctions were shown as a result,
  8. It almost amazes and frightens me to know what humen can build these days.
  9. Thanks, I saw your post on Macross mmodels also. This was just coincidents that I found the magazine today, while cleaning the house (Three day weekend is always filled with fun (Cleaning the rooms, taking care of chores ). It was not meant to push your post down.

  11. I know that Matchbox, EXO (Playmate) and Harmony GOld made the non transforming VF-1S. I did not know they made the VF-1J head.....??? Can someone confirm this????? If they did make one, I need to buy one ....
  12. This auction is ridiculous Click here I hope that Ebay takes more proactive steps to get rid of an auction like this. Yeah right!!!
  13. That is the exact question I have. Why even bother. Is this guy trying to prove something????? Agent-GHQ, You have to understand that no one in there mind (Actually, those that have follow Araft from the begining) wants to know what happens (whether it turs out positive or negative experience). If you keep posting and later place positive result about Arafat, you are actually harming the MW community, rather than helping out. Another thing, you are posting on a public forum, where Arafat can easily view. Maybe, he might be setting you up (Providing you with decent condition item(s) for you to post posiotive result for him). Agent-HQG, if you want to play a role of "Agent". You might consider joining NCIS or other field that might suit you. Just do not post anything about the transaction on this board. Why do I even bother posting this here, I let other members make their decisions.
  14. Then again. If Arafat had his items as described for the agent GHQ or someone to see and purcahse. Does it make Arafat a person with honest and integrity? My answer is "No". Why even test Arafat. Maybe, he clean up his act (Based on Ebay sales). However, does it justify the actions he took on these board and who knows where. If someone is going to do a transaction with Arafat, then don't post anything. If you got a great deal, good for you. If you had sour deal, you should have listen. All these free advertising for that guy is not helping out (Some might not know, but there are few people who would purcahse from a seller with terrible feedback or Rep. if they saw what is condsider a "Good deal"). Just do not post transaction involving this Arafat.
  15. I give my thought on this one. The Joon with RBW was probalby targeted for Korean market, back when it was originally released. The color BRW is korea's national flag color, hence , a lot of toys in those days were made using those three colors mixed together. this is just my guess/opinion. However, based on where the toy is made, it somewhat makes sense.
  16. If that statement is true. I can say that I own this little tree in my back yard that grows GBP, VT and VE Macross items. The truth is he gets them from Yahoo Japan and soliciting other collectors (I received at least 7 emails from him wanting me to sell my stuffs, this was right after I posted my collections here and also, when I posted few items on Ebay for sale).
  17. Does the seller have a store in San Gabriel area in CA. If not, I think you found another seller that needs certain medical attention. I visited this store in SG several months ago. The owner of the store had all the Taka displayed on the shelf in respective boxes. Anyways, I ask one of the sales person what price the store owner was looking to get for VE-1, the salesperson told me that the owner wants at least $2500. Well, the salesperson spoke to the owner and came back and told me that he can sell it for $2700 out the door. As for your question. The old school Bandais and Takas has lost value somewhat compare to last year. The posting by MSLZ should be the target (Some items I would say - $50, some I would pay litlle more) but, it all depends on overall condition of an item. If the VT-1 with no yellowing and mint in mint box (I would buy it for $550 or more). I do think that most of Macross MKT is now saturated as some one pointed out. However, I think that it will go up in price in the near futr=ure, unless it gets reissued.
  18. Those "Balls" are pretty neat looking Joke aside, I like the one with the dish (LOoks like VE-1 w/ "Ball) and the Brown color one. Are these from Gundam series????

After seeing post of this stuffs for several weeks now, I decided to check my local Walmart (I live in Socal) last weekend. They had few in stock, the price range from $4-8. However, it was all the way on the top of the shelf (the very top). I am over 6 feet, if I was shorter, I probalby would not have seen it. anyways, my G/F thought that I was finally going crazy (She understand my Macross, Robotech Gundam and higher grade collections). Anyways, I brought it homew and transformed. Actually, it is well worth the prices I paid for three different items. Anyways, I will try to post some pics this coming weekend, if I have time.
  20. Detail pic is hard to take unless someone has some decent digi camera. I try with mine, it did not come out too well. As for hatch, there are few places where it might be feasible, but, why take a guess already. Actually, I posted something elase on this forum and cyclone came out better on that photo. Click here for the photo Clcik here I thought it should be more like a cubic form? Is it stored in the radar compartement or in the leg? Whne you view from the side, it is almost cubic shape. From the top, it looks as if it has some sort of shape.

  22. The YF-19 goes for between $130-160 give and take $10-15 I do not think it was that good of a price. Then again, everyone has price they are willing to sale and buy....
  23. This is senseless killing of six human life and a dog. The moron and his "crew" will have to face their due process. Those are one damn idiotic morons.
  24. Its just due to over whelming number of supplies. Of course, as time passes on, there will be less and less number of Macross collectors. That is the nature of most hobbies. Yes, some are dumping Macross toys, because they need cash to buy other toys or what and other are selling because they see no profit potential and other various reasons. I still have most of my Macross toys in three or four sets (Some I do sell off to make moeny for other new ones or old ones). But, most will be kept as long as I can. I belong in the X group (Sadly and suddenly, I feel really old), sometimes my friends or others will comment (Mostly negative) on my collections, but, I really do not care. It all depends on the person collecting the toy. If they bought it to keep it for long sake, they will mostly hold on to it. If they bouhgt it for profit potential they will sale it fairly quickly. Of course, all those that bought the toy can do what ever they want with their assets.
  25. I don't get it?????? I hope it was not meant to be offensive or discreminating joke/statement.... take it how you want, it's 100% true Its not the matter of "take it how you want" when you make general questionable statment on a public forum. A person or few might question on the statement that they feel need to be address or clarified. If you do not want to make clarification, that is entirely your right. However, then don't make general stament on race, culture or like wise on a public forum, if you do, more than likely you will get question on your statment.
