There are the G-bits from Gundam X that use the Flash system (I think that is what it was called, you need needed to be a Newtype though in order to activate the system and to control the G-bits). But unlike funnels and bits, the Gbits were actual mobile suits that were controlled by the newtype pilot. Similar to how mobile dolls were controlled by Dorthey in Wing I think.

What celibacy thing? The rule was no attachment. Nothing was ever said about not having sex. I think Lucas said that in an interview I believe but that's from what I heard, never read it myself. Anakin is basicly a clear example of why they trained Jedi young(to teach them control and how to not become so attached that they give into their emotions when they lost something) and why the no attachment rule was in place. They can still love but to focus their love on one thing so that it gets to the point that their emotions control them is wrong.

Dude, it's Friday....relax. Yes, it is just a movie. But, Hayden (that is him in the suit right?) just doesn't seem to wear it quite right. I know it's the same suit with some minor modifications but it just looks... off. Just my opinion, I'm not whining or trying to stir the pot. Actually its a new suit that was made to fit Hayden.

Well I think Mace was right about. That, wasn't it said or going to be said that it was Nute Gunray that was behind trying to kill Padme, not Dooku himself. Then again, they didn't know Dooku was a Sith and the darkside clouds the judgement of people. Remember who they were sitting in front of and standing near when Mace and Yoda are talking. The whole librarien thing annoyed me. True it showed how some of the Jedi could be but then again, I doubt just Jedi are like that. I don't think all Jedi were like that at all but it did go with Yoda's comment he made in Episode 2 to Obiwan and Mace. If you have one of the most complex and filled libraries in the galaxy, you'd have that type of attitude as well. Also there is telling if she was a Jedi similar to Obiwan, Yoda, Anakin, etc. She simply could have some force control, maybe even a little and the library is where she mainly worked at for years.

I don't really think Lucas disappointed anyone with Episode 1(true Anakin was annoying in the end) and 2. I still think those(not everyone but a good amount of people) that hate or dislike Episodes 1 and 2(though, not as many dislike 2) set themselves up to be disappointed by having in their mind what things should have been like before viewing the films or felt that it should have been a certain way due to reading the EU novels over the years. Some people I think played out certain things but were disappointed when Lucas went in a different direction. Is that Lucas's fault they didn't like the film? No not at all I feel. Its his story and he's going to tell it how he sees fit. Not do things simply cause fans want to see certains. Episode 1 was better after viewing Episode 2 I feel cause I saw more of the connection in terms of the story. I'm sure both will look even better after Episode 3. People need to remember, Episode 1-3 are one whole story spread over three films. Episode 4 was setup in order to stand alone, Episode 5 and 6 weren't were certain to be made. Yet that film leaves several things unquestioned. 5 and 6 clear things up and continue the story over two films. Lucas had the power to do the prequels with his own money so he was able to spread things further, so that one film doesn't really stand alone but one needs to watch all three to get the whole story. Still like others I don't think the OT was any better then the PT. People just look at it different since they saw it when they were younger. Or at a time when special effects weren't that great. So that biases them against the PT which they view now as an adult and no longer look through the eyes of a child and see special effects everywhere. Lucas hasn't changed, fans have, yet they want to blame him for their disappointment. Now this isn't to say he hasn't done some things that might be disappointing(cause he has I agree) but to blame him for everything or even a majority of the disappointment a person feels isn't fair at all I feel. Also Jar Jar wasn't bad at all. I like him to be honest. He can be annoying at times but so did 3PO. I liked seeing new Star Wars aliens. Not just one character but a whole planet full. Makes the Star Wars universe seem more alive I feel.

Episode 23 was insane. I really enjoyed seeing Kira in action again. Heine....after watching that, I can't put much blame on Kira but him(Heine) being to cocky(justified though) it seems, him not actually paying attention to who he is fighting or was just fighting(this is what really does him in I think), being shocked and just being in the wrong place. I did find it interesting that Kira didn't seem to care in the least what happen to him as well. He just flew off to the Archangel, leaving Athrun behind in the Saviour. Though I don't think Kira even knows Athrun is in that since Kira was about to attack the Saviour as well. I can't wait for the subbed version. I rarely watch a raw episode but I just had to for this episode. Glad I did as well. I want Yunna to die in the worst way now.

Not even sure if I have that channel, I'll have to check. I did tape it on VHS when it aired on the SciFi channel. Great mini-series, though I wish it could have been a full series. I can't wait to get it on dvd.

I actually plan to start again once the semester is over, last year of college. Can't play now since college networks have the ports needed to play the game closed. Can't wait to try out Jump to Lightspeed and get my own X-wing. Looking forward to see what the Wookie Homeworld expansion will bring.

Returned to CN, "The Clone Wars" has, hmmm.

That's really what I feel is the situation. Many people, not all of them, that disliked the prequel films or try to pick them apart, just didn't like them cause they didn't live up to what they had pictured or figured what the prequels would be like. Some caused their own disappointment by expecting to see on thing and had it in their minds that things needed to be a certain way but Lucas didn't go in the direction they wanted. Or they were so used to the novels which are more scifi then a space opera (like the films) that they just aren't used to the style of Lucas or Star Wars films. They wanted it to be like their EU novels and it wasn't so. At least that's how I take it after looking at several forums and seeing post from people that say they didn't like the films. Though not all people that disliked the films were like that but I found a good majority of people I've come in contact with are like that. People look at what the film isn't like instead of just watching the film for what it is and simply watching to enjoy it instead of trying to compare it or take it apart. Causing their own disenjoyment in a way I feel. Anyway I saw the first episode but I missed tonight's episode since I was in class. I'll check it out in the morning on Cartoon Networks site. I'm glad they are longer as well, I really enjoyed the scenes between Anakin and Padme in the first episode. -
I agree that while there are only two Sith at any given time(allowing them to stay hidden if need be), there could be darkside force users/evil/bad force users out there. Sith are darksiders but not all darksiders are Sith since Sith teaching is different and basicly secretive. Actually comics and books and games are canon as well, not just official but there are several levels of canon when it comes to Star Wars. What are in the films and what is said by Lucas is at the very top and overwrites everything else below it. "G Level canon" its called. Novels, games, comics, and guides, etc are "C level canon" which tends to not flow well with the films as time(which it should since it should fix itself to match the films). Lucas could basicly overwrite C level canon if he wanted to though. The different levels I believe have been confirmed for a while now. Personally I take the EU(expanded universe) as one big "what if" instead of the only way things could have played out, especially since it wasn't writen by Lucas, the creator. Though the novels that contain elements from his actual notes(this is very limited I believe), and that he helped authors with(such as the Dark Empire series(answered questions for the authors) and Tales of the Jedi era(when it came to the Sith background and things, most came from his notes and he answered questions) I hold at a higher standing then the other EU novels, comics, etc. Its just more fun I feel to try and speculate what happens between the films and after instead of being forced to accept what some ego driven author has writen even though it might be good at times.

When is this suppose to be finally airing anyway?

That looks really good. It reminds me of Rahxphon and the mecha from Full Metal Panic in some ways.

He was reporting to Zala all along wasn't he before Zala became the leader of Plant? And was apart of the special forces before the series even started it seemed. Just that Zala became the head of the council and head of the military at the same time so then Athrun was reporting to the leader of Plant.

Nope. Just Aayla, she was also in Attack of the Clones as well. Also the character of Whie(I think its that) that was in the lead in novel to RoTS will also be in the Episode 3 film but he was created for the film and just used in the novel, not coming from the novel to be used in the film.

Really? I knew his name looked familier but didn't realize that was who he played. Anyway I don't see why they simply couldn't get another person to play Jor-El. Its suppose to be a new film so why would they want to use old footage, its not like no one else can play the role.

People call others "son" when they aren't related. Its just a way of speaking towards someone really. Palp has basicly been a father figure of sorts to Anakin, the same way Obiwan has been and the way Quigon was. To suggest that Palp is Anakin's real father is really pushing and grasping at thin air. Trying to make something out of nothing.

Should be interesting since they have him writing and it will be a new cast. Maybe they can start fresh now. Some of the novels aren't to bad.

Hollywood is raping my roleplaying game childhood!

Sounds like something a mahou-shoujo (magical girl) would say after her semi-naked transformation scene. I was thinking someone was getting DnD confused with the virtues from the Ultima series. Still, the first film was bad enough, why make a second one? Still if they wanted to try again, why make a direct connection with the first film instead of trying with clear start? -
Ah. Thanks.

Hey, for all we know Dullindal could have both Talia and Rey. Anyway, I wonder how many people still think he's not evil. It could turn out he's not the main bad guy in the series but it should be clear he's evil all the same. From looks alone, to what he says and does, the whole building up of so many new Gundams should have sent a flag up for people, if not that the Neutron Stampeder(which if positioned right could be fired at Earth(seems like a mini-genesis in a way)), then there is the fake Lacus and showing up and then the plot of trying to kill the real Lacus should say something as well. He seems to be telling Minerva what they want to hear it seems. Also, on the AnimeSuki forums, someone brought up the idea that with this Logos talk, about those that make weapons, that this could be Dullindal's way of trying to get approval for attacking civilian targets. Not all weapons makers are military and they do other things beside military products. Now I wonder if Minerva will agree to attacking a city with civilians just to get to weapons factories? Sure they'll use the reasoning that EA tried to nuke Plant(after the EA found that it was a group of coordinators that dropped Junis 7) but if they do attack a city like that, its just going to cause the EA to do the same to them and their allies. They cycle will never stop. I hope someone other then Athrun comes to that conclusion and then start to question as to what Dullindal is really up to, to call for such attacks while saying he doesn't want an invasion. Question. It was Blue Cosmos that nuked Junis 7 right by sneaking a nuke on board one of the ships and not actually the EA itself? But since the EAF didn't do anything to really stop BC from its actions on Earth, they held them resonsible right? Just wanted to make sure. Looking at the timeline on Gundam Official it seems that it was actually Plant that took the first military action against the EAF while the EAF(other sponser nations) were just doing "intimidation maneuvers". It was a short while after that, that war was declared on Plant, well after Plant figured that the death of a council member lead back to BC with a EAF connection(doesn't really mean they were behind it). I wonder if the people of Plant know that it was them that took the first military action that might have push the situation to the next level and as a indirect result caused the destruction of Junis 7 and again it was the dropping of Junis 7 by coordinators that basicly started this 2nd war. It always seems like the EA is painted as starting things but it seems that both are equally to blame.

This show is pretty funny. Volton and the Robeast was great. Not just seeing the different toys but what they actually say. Prime saying "only 50 humans were killed in today's battle, a new record" with the other Transformers cheering. lol Great stuff. Reminds me of when MadTV used to have claymation parts of their show that included GI Joes, Gumby, Santa Claus, etc. Good fun.

And now we are back to reruns. They always do this, you get to a great episode then load up the reruns..

Its about damn time. Finally I can have Thundercats on DVD. When are Silverhawks going to be released on dvd now? Now if only WEP could get their act together and release US dvd versions of Voltron.

Now that would be something to see. There is no telling how many they would have to call to stop him. Also I wonder what that would do to some of the JL members if they still couldn't bring him down and they have super powers while he doesn't.
