Where's the 1/48 Roy's left hand?

.....Holy Mother of God.

I'm surprised no one else has made any comparisons between Blue-Tooth Graham and our own Graham. Both are well-connected. Both like to keep secrets. And both have knowledge that we consider vitally important.........[Jack Bauer style]: TELL US WHAT YOU KNOW!!!!!!!!! [/Jack Bauer style]

Sorry to jump back to an earlier post. But the thing that would worry me more than the price is that almost all the key articulation points are where the vehicles connect. Not exactly a good formula for tight joints and cool poseability. ....Okay, let's get back to some more wild speculation!

I can't really complain that much. Yes, gerwalk mode is floppy. And yes, I wish there was more movement in the ankles (for more posing possibilities in both gerwalk and battroid). But as far as transforming the 19? Other than that extra force needed to collapse the fuselage/cockpit area and needing a toothpick or paper-clip to move that dark grey part in the backpack, I don't have any real problems transforming mine. Thanks, Wicked Ace. Those schemes ain't too shabby (Actually, I like that "Scorpion" scheme a little more.) But I have another scheme in mind that I'm working/revising in this little brain of mine. Speaking of schemes, what about an Ivanov scheme for either the YF-19 or the YF-21? Also, didn't someone mention that the YF-19 without its helmet or visor looks kinda like an Eva Unit? Wonder if anyone will be crazy enough (I mean that in a good way) to paint the 19 in one of those Eva color schemes.

True. But I'm sure the 1/60 VF-1 would get dwarfed too, if it were added to the mix. Also, I think if we were ever to connect the Legioss to its "big brother"/back-up, it'd probably even things up a little bit in the size comparison. -

Well how about a Stealth-schemed YF-21? Hypothetically speaking, of course.

I think it's pretty obvious which 80's anime I personally want it to be. Yes, I'd die a happy man if I could get a Legioss/Tread combo (large-scale, transformable, and connecting, of course). But it'd be pretty sweet too to see the Ride Armors done with revoltech-style joints and articulation. But the "popular" blurb and HG/Toynami having the rights to Mospeada make me think otherwise. Oh well, a man can dream......

HOLY COW!!!!! I wasn't completely into this season during the first two hours (alright beginning, but kinda on the "meh" side), but those last two major shockers tonight got me hooked in for another season. DUH-YAM!! I hate to say it, but Curtis himself elevated it to that point. I understand where Curtis was coming from, and I'd have a hard time letting go too. So cuss the guy out, rough him up, beat him up a bit, hell, put a cap in his knee if you want to. But don't push it beyond that point. Lastly, if THAT is what it takes to make Jack "get his groove back," remind me to stay beyond a 1000 mile radius of the man!

The hard part about worrying about those chips is that the part requires a nice bit of force to get it into position for battroid mode (at least on mine).

Oh! I'd be remiss if I didn't mention one other thing from earlier in this thread: Bring forth to Prophet Eugimon the finest meats and cheeses in all the land!! And four supple, vestial virgins for him to ravage in whatever manner he chooses!!.....................No, no, no, not the fat, pasty-white, nerdy virgins. The hot-looking, FEMALE ones.

I doubt Yamato will ever abandon the 1/48 scale (at least for the VF-1's). They've made a nice handful of variations from the VF-1 mold. And I'm sure they could easily come up with other non-canon Valk schemes. Though, I'd rather they make a few more color variations to the Fast Packs (low-viz, navy blue, or grey anyone?). I might not be the biggest fan of the two-seaters. But I can definitely understand the pain and frustration you guys feel, especially when you know it can be done (Hell, just look at my avatar.). One thing I've always wondered about: other than for sales reasons, why hasn't Yamato made the TV-style versions of Max or Kakizaki in either scale?

Glad to see Jack still has some of his bad-assery skills available. The vampire bite was cool, but there was something about him drop-kicking the overly-pious guy on the subway that puts a smile on my face. Some other random points: * Of all the places to hide out, Dr. Bashir's group picked Inglewood?! * I guess a few of the characters hooked up in the past two years. Poor Jack. While he's been getting tortured in China, everyone else has been getting nookie. * When they mentioned Audrey and Kim, was I the only one thinking this was the writers' saying, "The actresses who play them weren't available for this season, so this is our way of writing them off for awhile." * Kumar needs to chill out and go to White Castle. Golden Arms, I believe Wayne Palmer's been around for few seasons now. (Though, I didn't realize he's the guy from Romeo Must Die.)

Took me a little bit to find Graham's update (Had to remember to look at the main site's webpage). "Popular 80's anime," huh? Any chance HG/Toynami let go of some of the toy-making rights to Mospeada? (snowball's chance in hell, but I figured it was worth asking.) I'll have to wait and see some pics of the SV-51 prototype before I make a decision. But if I fall in love with the Pope-Mecha, it looks like I'll have to buy a VF-0 to pair it up against. EDIT: So, we now know the SV-51 is coming out. But what about Graham's earlier mystery sig. with the 21 spaces? Was the sig. related to SV-51, or does the sig. relate to something else?!

Finally got my YF-19 yesterday (or was it earlier today .............I really should get some sleep) I'm a little surprised that no one thought of (or posted a pic) of this earlier: [attachmentid=39537] [attachmentid=39538] Isamu's "I'm-a-Crazy-Mofo-Who-Doesn't-Mind-Flying-Upside-Down-This-Close-to-the-Ground" Maneuver!

In any case, thanks for taking the time to set up and design this survey, kensei.

^^^ [Chloe or some other CTU person]: "Jack you need some time to heal and recover." [Jack]: "THERE'S NO TIME!!!!!!" In all seriousness, I'd like them to go "Manchurian Candidate" with the story. It'd divide up the day pretty logically and still keep the suspense and surprises going throughout the whole 24 hours. ...........But I won't get my proverbial panties in a bunch if they don't go this route.

Nice and simple custom! Can we get a close-up of the design you finally went with for the Alaska Base logo?

I guess my question is: Did Revy really put a cap in "you-know-who"? I thought they ended this story arc appropriately. Rock shows that he's accepted (and embraced) living in the "twilight." And he gets to show off what can make him just as lethal as a bullet from a gun. As for the bits after the ending credits, I didn't mind the little epilogue they put in for the last storyline. Plus, it's appropriate to see them all back in Roanapur (if this is the last episode). As for the very last scene, I'm never one to complain about any scene with those two characters interacting. ********************** P.S.--Understand that I saw the last episode unsubbed first, didn't know exactly what was being said, and then finally watched the episode with the subs just yesterday (and was pleasantly surprised by how much my initial impressions were wrong). So, this probably has skewed my impressions for the last ep.

Although I've never panel-lined any of my Valks (so far), I gotta say "no" on this. For one thing, is there a universal agreement as to how dark or how light the panel-lining should be? Should the panel-lining be "obvious," or should it be "subtle"? How about the color used? Should it be black or a light shade of grey? What about on the non-white Valks (like Millia's, the Stealth, or the LV2)? Should their panel-lining be white, black, or some other color? Along with all the other issues folks have already mentioned, this is my problem with having Yamato doing the panel-lining itself: the way they panel-line the Valks may not mesh with MY OWN PERSONAL PREFERENCES. What if I decide to re-do Yamato's panel-lining to my own liking, how easy will it be to remove or "erase" the markings already done? One of the fun things about looking at all the Valks out there is all the cool little personalized touches and/or added details folks put onto their Valks. Panel-lining is obviously one of the ways we make our Valks stand out and look unique. As they say, "Variety is the spice of life." And I'd rather not have Yamato take away (or at least severly limit) one of those avenues for variety.

How much higher does everyone's totals go once we start including the misc. add-ons we put into our Yammies, such as: * Aftermarket stickers or decals * Panel-lining materials * Sealants, etc. * Recasted heads, different colored visors, different or repainted pilots, underarm/side armor, etc. Obviously for customs, the costs are higher. But here, I'm just talking about the little details we add to make a BASIC Yammie look a little bit cooler. As for me, I'll probably be somewhere around the US$1,000 mark after I get the YF-19.
