Yeah, thats my only knock against the 51, it's too huge in any mode. I can't display it in fighter mode in my ikea cabinets.

On a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a 10. All of the issuses(there weren't many) that were present in the Ivanov have been addressed in the Nora Scheme. The only problem I have with my dd is the loss missiles. But that isn't a big deal in my book anyway. I really love both the VF-0 and SV-51. I think they are both superior designs to the vf-1 series. They both look futuristic yet modern at the same time. I think the that the SV-51 only weakness is the Battroid mode. I think it has the 2nd weakest battroid mode appearance next to the yf-21. Both of my sv-51's stay primarily in fighter mode. I aslo think that the 51 has either the best or 2nd best Gerwalk mode next to the yf-19. The SV-51 has such a menancing appearance it just screams evillll valk.

nugundamII great collection BTW. I was gonna suggest that you check out Grahams transformation vids. They are posted on Youtube. The 19 is a very complex toy (as are all of Yamato macross toys) So seeing someone correctly transform one is a huge help. I really wish that someone would post a video for the dd and Nora valks. There pretty easy to transform once you play with them for awhile, but can be pretty intimidating at first glance.

All of the casting choices look terrible for this film. They've gone way too young and Cheap IMO.

The Joe bug has bitten me hard these last 2 wks. I've bought Shipwreck, lady Jaye, Serpenter, Scarlet& Hawk, Duke& CC, Red Ninja, and Zartan. Who are the peg warmers in your respective areas? In my area I see lots of Buzzers, Lady Jaye, Shipwreck, and Hooded CC's. I see alot of the 2 packs as well. It seems the Dreadnock set are the rarest, while I see plenty of the others.

Ditto on Misterryno's suggestions. Kevin from Valk exchange carries toys from time to time as well. The original 1/48 gbp is on sale at several different sites, it can be purchased for well under $90. I might pick up another set and paint an all black and grey GBP from my stealth and 25 anniv 1S.

Damn, I was so looking for a reson to not like the new 1/60's(I just love the 1/48's that much). But those pics have me sold. Those hinged leg flaps should make for a killer GBP armor set.

I get sick and tired of people having less sympathy for drug overdoses and suicides like these peoples lives are somewhat lessened because they may have been facing demons in their personal lives. I did what Mechatek described for all of my GBP's. They came out relatively well. When I cut these particular stickers, I cut them while they are still on the sticker sheet. I usually use an X-acto blade and scissors. Before appyling the stickers to those areas be sure to thoroughly wipe the parts down with rubbing alcohol. The toughest stickers to apply to the GBP are the ones that go on the underneath portion of the forearm armor.

I'd also like to see Leatherneck, Dress Blues Gung Ho, and Quick Kick. Still waiting on Falcon. I'd also like to see them reissue flint and Baroness.

I'm now 2 twin packs away from getting doc. this week I've picked up destro/ breaker scarlett/Hawk and SE/SS. Shin do you know the quantities breakdown on the 2 packs? The ones I've seen the most in the stores are Scarlett/hawk and CC/Duke. Maybe they are the most numerous because they are the least desired. I finally saw 2 of the dreadnok packs at walmart but I picked destro up instead. My biggest grip with the 2 packs is the plastic tray that the figs are suspended in. It makes removing the figures difficult. Hasbro shoud change this in future releases.

Power loss typically is a result of going with too large of a piping diameter. You will still pick up horsepower, but you will lose some torque. Whatever diameter piping you have on your cars exhaust stick with that unless you plan for really big mods down the road. I added a true dual exhaust with an H pipe and aftermarket mufflers to my car about 1 1/2 ago and haven't been happier.

Thanks for posting that link. I'll definately look for this film once it comes out. The protector wasn't that good of a film, but the stunts and action were unreal. These films remind me so much of the old 70's shaw bros movies.

Meh on the dyrl head vs the tv Head. The tv 1A head reminds me too much of the 1/55 Bandai 1A's, which isn't a good thing. The DYRL 1a heads look better anyway. Didn't Toynami have TV color schemes for Max and Kakizaki errr Ben?? The TV color schemes for these 2 would be wasted releases for Yamato, because I'd bet that they would be poor sellers. I'd like to see them come up with either a new custom scheme or a Minmay guards scheme.

Shin are the carded figs supposed to be on clearance as well at Target? The reason I ask is because the one by me had them all on pegs marked clearance, but they rang up as the normal $ 5.99 price. Do all of the Zartan figs change color? I may go back and pick him and Storm Shadow up.

I finally caved and bought a few Joes (Beach Head, Stalker, and Cobra Soldier). My local target restocked and had Lady Jaye, cobra Commander, Beach Head, Stalker, Zartan, Shipwreck, Storm Shadow, Buzzer, Cobra Soldier, and Red Ninja cobra Soldier. They even had the joe gift set, and Cobra enemy sets as well. These were all listed as clearance, but they didn't ring up that way. Ididn't see any of the Wave 5's.

What ship are the vf-25 pilots stationed on? The older looking pilot was suprised when he saw Footage of Ranka that the concert. I assumed he isn't aboard the Frontier.

Maybe, but the reason she would've been perfect would be the action pieces. With Ziyi you could minimize the wire work involved because she is pretty darn good at repilcating maritial arts. The more I think about this film, the more convinced I've become that we'll see another Charlies Angels, Ultraviolet, transporter in terms of action pieces. The recent action films in my book that have found ways to minimize the use of wire work look 10 better than those that rely heavily on it. This is in large part due to the athlectism of the actors involved. Ones that are good examples of this include: Distric B13 The Bourne series Ong Bak The protector The City of violence Killzone
