So, do the craft have cockpit views or are they strictly over the shoulder?

Update: Well my machine is back up and running and I have cranked out some textures for the fuselage. These have no flight colors at this time, I will have to figure out a color scheme for these this week. Appreciate any comments.

What is up with those X-wings, they're all messed up, why can't Lucasarts ever make a proper X-wing?

Actually, the pilot can set the cannon to auto fire on the MiG-29 and Su-27 when using he GsH-301. When that happens the laser range finder data determines the best shot and when that occurs it will automaticallty fire a 5-10 rounds burst off the gun. The gun has something like an 80+% chance of hitting the target in such cases and testing shows that it only takes between 3-4 hits to take down an F-16 if it hits the fuselage.

Update: Well I finished the upper wing, but the pics of that are at home, sorry. But I was bored so before I went to lunch I rendered the following image, later retouched in photo-paint to give it a line art look. It's the new Solaar on the ground with a Lodran, basically a 7.5' tall shark man standing next to it. Really gives the thing a sense of scale when you see this. The Lodran was created by Exo, based off a description sheet I sent him. Comments are appreciated.

Um, I'm not entirely sure how I should take that, as a compliment or a dis, *scratches head furiously.* Really those designs just look like they took the old Mospeada capships, did them in CG and maybe added a few bits. The only one that looks signficantly different is the dropship and cockpit of the Shadow Alpha. I mean come on why not come up with new designs? @Shin, thanks for standing up for me bro, also sorry for the lack of updates on my latest, trying to get my desktop back up and running, ugh, going to have to do a complete wipe and restore then reinstall all my drivers and software, I hate microsoft.

What a body, check her out boys. I finished the fuselage today, I think it came out well. THe only things that need to be added to the fuselage now are blade and blister antennae, and maybe some additonal sensors. Let me know what you think, I plan to start in on the wings tommorrow and start adding the antennae.

Update: Well first off I will take the lack of replies to mean that people do not like the radical change I came up with in the Non-Sol, now Neo-Sol. Personnally I do, and really it is the route I should have taken to begin with IMHO. I think it now looks much more like something humans would develop. Anyway the updates are as follows, I have started the detailing process, putting in panel lines on the upper fuselage from the docking mounts forward. I will start on the aft fuselage after I get back from the gym. You will notice that there are slight differences between the left and right side, and no the cockpit so no longer podded, an error on my part in the design, doh. But the pilot is equipped with a fully pressurized suit and an ejection seat, he just won't be as protected as he would be in a pod. I really do appreciate any comments you have, even if it is to say that you don't like it.

That star destriyer is a fan creation, Howard Day Refers to it as the Legacy Star Destroyer, something of an intermediate design between the one seen in the trailer and the Imperetor class.

For now at least I am going with a canopy that slides forward, similar to on the Viper.

Update, new cockpit and spine are in, as well as redone docking points. I think it came together well, though I am debating extending the canopy back a bit to give somewhat better rear visibility. Also I might extend the area forward of the docking points closer to the nose, any thoughts?

Non-update, update: I realized tonight in the shower how to make a good looking bubble canopy, and tested it, but will not have a pic of it until tomorrow. I should actually be able to use to to correct a few other designs as well.

This shot makes it look very f-16 like IMHO.

Update: Well for now I am going with the pointed nose, I think it looks pretty good. I redid the cockpit and kind of like how it turned out. There will be some alteration done to it on the Mk-3 model. I've also reshaped the aft end, I think it came out better and put in the landing gear, had to redesign the mains to make them fit the design. I look forward to everyones comments. Also it looks like the old Solaar will be fading away and this new solaar will take its place. Come on folks, let me hear some feedback.

Look at how long it takes to grow an adult clone in AOTC, 10 years. So then Sidious would be without a pupil for ten year while his new body is prepared. DO you really think he would wait that long? Besides, who is to say that the clone would be as powerful in the force, even if they were to do a brain swap?
