If you want the best of the best, as the previous poster said, Xuron makes what you need. Their sprue cutters are just a tiny side business. They specialize in making precision tools for the aircraft industry. So they know what they're doing. Their tools cut flawlessly, never lose their edge, stay perfectly springy, and so on. They're engineered to stand up to professional use, so there's no way a casual or even seriousl modeller could wear them out. Xuron is the Snap-On of modelling tools. For the style mentioned by WM Cheng and several others, what you want is the Xuron Track Cutter. It's intended for cutting metal model railroad track. However, it's perfect for snapping right through those thick sprues.

I was gonna name S_I_T_H_L_O_R_D's display solution as one of my favorites... However, I think there is one collection that takes the cake. A while back, one of th emembers here showed off the custom room he had built to dosplay his collection, with custom built cases, and a wall mounted display for his gun / airsoft collection.

So true. I got a good deal on my S14, but I only got it a bit over a month ago and I'd been looking since September to find a good price.
-
Ohhhhhh yeahhh. Couple years ago, an AE86 Corolla GTS, hatch or coupe, went for under a grand. Those same cars are now selling in the neighborhood of five grand....
-
I like the way they look, but when I get mine, I'm gonna paint it, too. Too many people steal parts off of cars these days, or, worse, the whole cars, and I happen to like my S14.
-
Yeah, it's pretty much just about looking cool. Although, if you're going for maximum weight reduction, it might make sense to leave it bare, as paint can weigh a pound or two.

I like A1s. I find that the handguard fits better in my hand than the round one of the A2 and later. BTW, JsARC, what is that smaller M16 variant there? I'm thinking Colt Commando? Or is it an XM177? -
Looks pretty nice.....for a Honda.... just kidding. It's dang cool. Got a real JDM look going on. Call me a ricer, but I've always liked the look of a CF hood on a white or silver car... Just in case anyone is interested, this is mine: http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/588405

---Possible Spoilers--- As with a lot of works of fiction, anime, movies, games, I think that the series was great until they went to space. Up to that point, the series was a good military drama, with well written episodes and scenes, from combat to romance. The latter half or so of the series wasn't as good. Onceeveryone got all angsty, and the main character went insane, etc, it lost a lot of its appeal. I seem to notice that this happens a lot. Another example is Cowboy Bebop. The earlier episodes, which are all stand-alone stories, are better than the ending drama of faye's past, Spike's mob issues, etc. Or, a game example, Far Cry. The beginning portion of the game is an immersive outdoor environment, with non-linear gameplay and multiple ways to accomplish an objective, and fighting intelligent but realistic mercs. As the game goes on, though, it degeneratesinto a game, while still quite good, is not much more than an evolution of Half Life. Walking through research facilities fighting mutants is not the high point of the game.

Carbon Fiber hoods are flexible. With a normal, center mounted, latch, the corners of the hood will bend up at speed, and possibly damage the car, the latch, or the hood. The pins help to prevent this problem. Anyway, these are some pretty nice rims. I really need to get some for my S14, cause I'm running on steelies. I'm thinking of some Gram Lights 57Cs.

Dude...don't insult a cosplayer just cause he's/she's horizontally challenged. You can cosplay even if you're fat or missing a leg or arm. Its all about the spirit. And every one can have a laugh or 2. I wouldn't go into extremes of "give cosplayers a bad name". If anyone who's giving cosplayers a bad name, it would be you and your elitism. It's not elitism. It's a matter of this guy's judgement. This guy's pictures border on obscene. I wouldn't say anything bad if he were wearing a costume that was less, umm, tight, but when someone like this guy dresses like this (hell, when anyone dresses like this. If I wore something like that, I'd encourage people to make fun of me!) and posts these all around pictures of it, he should be prepared for whatever people can say about it. It's really all about the costume he chooses to do. It's important to consider yourself when you choose a costume. I wouldn't crossplay one of the swimsuit-clad girls from DOAX, nor would I cosplay Barret from FF7. There are plenty of characters who someone like this guy could cosplay without being offensive to the eyes. This is not one of those characters. I don't see this as being any more appropriate than Man-Faye. (Possibly less, as Man-Faye did his cosplay on a bet.)

I'm a bit disappointed that he went with the Blockade Runner. If I were to build something that big, it'd be an X-wing with a cockpit I could actually get in. Or, even better, a SU-27 with a full cockpit, four LCDs (Three for view, one for instruments) and a nice rig running Lock On: Modern Air Combat. -

They had to do Perfect Zeong. After all, they plastered him all over Perfect Gundam's (Great kit, BTW) box and manual, plus, PF-78 has to have somebody to fight! -
Did anyone else notice that there is a chest and back plate as part of the armor, yet numbnuts here eglected to putit on? (Too fat maybe?) It's morons like this who give cosplay a bad name. Most of us cosplayers are normal (and normally shaped...) people who wear costumes that have been carefully made and look good. However, for some reason, fat morons like Milton here love plastering pics of themselves in their half-arsed costumes all over the internet.

The Pillarof Autumn from Halo -
Actually, aside from the language (i.e. slang, etc) used, the sub, for the most part, is accurate. They didn't just make up what the people were saying (like with bobobo whatever), they just changed the slang to be a spoof of Tokyopop's version.

That's......really distrubing. The EL-wire was a cool idea, but the whole skintight unitard thing....especially on this[/i guy.........is just....wrong......
