Somebody mentioned that they were "rare," and I was a little hesitant to customize it. They are the rarest of the Joons I think. I'd hang onto it, there are plenty of 5 dollar crappy VF-1 bootlegs for sale off of ebay if your looking for something to customize.

Personally I'd rather own the SDF-1, as well as a zentran fleet. Why settle for world domination when you could have intergalactic domination instead

I hope they do, mpop is great but he has nowhere next the detail as an alternator does. Depends on which mode your referring to. In Truck mode,yeah the prime is lacking a little in detail. However in bot mode he rivals many SOC's.

They should ask MIG for 3 reasons. one; everyone thinks of them as enemy fighters anyway, Two; they need the money and Three wouldnt StarScream look cool as a MiIG 29!?! Hybridchild BEST suggestion I've seen yet. MiG and even Sukhoi, perhaps? That would be so cool! Everyone thinks Starscream should be a mig Personally I'd like to see some one make a really good transformer based on an A-10, or perhaps even an Blackbird. Although BT is supposed to be a car only line, that does not leave out the posibility that they may make a whole new brandname line for military vehicles.

The floppyness issues are just an inherent design flaw in the toy. As to difficulties with the transformation your going to have to be more specific for any of us to help you.

Nice!. Only concern is they seem to be using a pretty standard transformation template for most of the alternators. Now thats not to say that previous transforming robot lines, including macross and transformers are not guilty of the same crime, but I just hope we see more variety.

For me to buy a toy I must first, like the design it is based on, and second I must consider the toy to be of at least acceptable quality and worth the money. Liking the show/fictional universe it is from is not required. That said I really dig Prime and I really like the look of the Dancougar (that and the fact I played with a friends original Dancougar when I was little and it made an impression on me).

How do you figure? This isn't an attack I just don't see how it is.

Hate to say it, but I wasn't real impressed with my BT Smokescreen... Vostok 7 Different tastes I suppose. For me BT and the new anniversary series are a dream come true, as was the 1/48th. Perhaps it was a little harsh to say BT "blows the 1/48 out of the water" as it really doesn't, hell its probably not even fair to make such a comparison.

You don't have MP Convoy or any of the Binaltech/Alternator line do you? Those lines are to the G1 TF as what the 1/48 & 1/60 are to the 1/55's. Truedat. In truth BT and the new prime blow the 1/48th out the the water in terms of engineering quality. This is from someone who thought that the 1/48 could not be beat!

I say if your looking for total completion go for the 1/60th line. Collecting the whole 1/48th line up will take a major toll on space and finances. If I had to make a list of must have 1/48's it would be the Lowviz, Reissue focker 1S, and from what I understand the 1J is also awesome.

Surely you don't have to be a fan of the cartoon, or even the entire franchise, to appreciate a nice, well designed transforming toy. Does it need some UN Spacy logos on it to garner any cudos from you? My god! Okay I was expecting prime to win, but by that much Hey whatcha know, The 1/48 managed to actually have a noticable percentage unlike most of the rest. BTW. I love transforming toys in general, thus I love G1 TFers, The new Anniversary series and BT. As well as macross toys, the few gundams that do transform, Dorvack, Xabungle, and the list goes on. Hell even from my nick you can tell I even love gobots. Some people are diecast whores, well for me, if it transforms I am there.

My BT sideswipe came in. Very nice but watch out for the paint. I am definantly getting the alternators version to as soon as amazon starts selling them.
