Thinking back, a great idea to apply lube on the metal drawer where the rail is for less resistance…Well there’s a first time for everything🤣 New news, Mr.K has responded to my situation and is willing to help. Since Arcadia customer support is limited to Japanese residents, we have to work out the logistics side of things (Luckily I have a Tenso address). He suggests that I fill the inquiry form but I get a 403 forbidden message trying to load up the Arcadia website. Does anyone else have this issue? Do you have a link that works? Thanks very much.

Thanks very much for your input @Chronocidal @treatment. For now I sent an urgent reply to Mr.K’s latest post on X wondering if he could come to the rescue, as per your suggestion. The worst outcome is me out $300 cad having to buy a regular version on Mandarake just for the left arm, and what an expensive arm that is!🤯 In the meantime I managed to disassemble it entirely. Luckily the two screw covers came off easy, perhaps someone at the factory was being stingy with glue that day (thank you). The two halves of the lower arms is NOT glued either so you just wiggle jiggle carefully pry it apart. The pain in the butt however was to knock the pin out as you see its teeth on both ends of it. Some collateral damage was inevitable but it’s contained on the broken bit. With the pin finally out, the bicep armour slides out completely, the metal slider separated undoing one screw, and it is pretty much ready for donor parts. PF? More like Explosive Finish, you got yourself a really nicely detailed anime accurate transforming time bomb. That being said, I suggest everyone to push the metal sliders from inside the arm rather than pull when you extend for fighter mode.

A breakage alert 🥵 Well ain’t that a peach, I was transforming back to fighter to put it away in the box then it happened.. I was trying to pull out & extend the arm and the joint just broke away. This reminds me of Max factory Guyver figures from years ago where the joints just crumbled away if you moved it. It did not help the metal piece was lodged in there rather tight either. Either way I would like to fix it if possible, Does anybody have a spare/junk Arcadia yf-19 regular version please? It is the lower left arm I can probably knock out the pin and replace it if I get my hands on the part in question. I also have to remove the metal drawer joint from the lower arm, which without inflicting further damage would be a fun activity.. Please help a brother out, thank you!

I had a good look around searching for glow in the dark initially but figured it’d diminish rather quickly so I opted for fluorescent paint + bars of black light for a prolonged enjoyment. I used mr.hobby Acrysion fluorescent pink and green because of little to no smell working at home otherwise wifey would’ve had me by the neck. Still WIP, I got fed up when got to the ARMD, times 2!😆

I have been on and off working on my reissue Arcadia sdf-1 and I strongly suggest to finish with topcoat to protect your work - freshly applied paint rubbed off multiple times as I handled it along the way..

I have not found the canards drooping yet (perhaps a matter of time?) but do find the chest wants to pop back out going into battroid for some reason. I see the female end inside the nose isn’t deep enough to accommodate the full length of the neck peg, maybe that is the cause? Because I fiddled with it one too many times ended up with a small paint rub on the tip of the canopy. 🤣 Also one of the rear landing gear flaps fall out rather easily, because one peg is nonexistent and almost flat..

@Paco Grande is in Canada and DHL is indeed ripping us off with fees, I too paid $20 processing fee and 13% duties on top recently.🥵

I hope Bandai is updating the type of material this time because the first release Roy had cheap feel to it for some reason on the white, whereas the subsequent releases didn’t.

For some reason stuff I wanted such as dx fire valk, sdf-1 reissue, etc all ended up getting released the month of October, my wallet is literally bracing for impact.😁 release delay? Yes please.
