Valk surfing! So, funny story. I've been stashing a few new toys at work that I'm not quite ready to reveal to my better half. This idea came to me during some downtime earlier today when I was thinking about these two having similar color schemes. Don't mind my replacement antenna just sitting on top of the snapped one. I haven't even gotten to really play with this baby yet and I kinda wanted to imagine what it could look like. -

Replacement received! Thank you and @kkx for the hook-up. Now my YF-19 can fend off any angry Zentradi in pursuit from the rear! Unrelated, but I was watching DYRL last night and noticed that the ancient city sure looked a lot like the design cues present in a lot of tech in Macross Plus and even in the design of the YF-19 itself. I've never really noticed that before!

Head laser is snapped! Thinking about ordering one of those replacements from that Chinese website that was posted a few pages earlier. Sucks to open a holy grail toy and see it broken right away. If Bandai wanted to repent they should include an extra YF-19 head laser in the upcoming YF-21. I haven't tried transforming it yet, but so far everything else on this one seems fine. Keeping for now.

Should be getting this by the weekend. Head laser stress meltdown incoming. Is it still best practice to loosen the screws on the hip joint half a turn? I’ve already snapped a foot off of a Jojo’s figure this month and I don’t know how much more I can take.

Lets just say I order this from Amazon.co.jp to US. It's fulfilled by Amazon. If my laser tip is snapped they'll allow for a return, right? I tried to read their policy, but the best I could determine is that they want you to use some specific Japanese shipping services? Seems like a potential mess.

Can anyone speak to the quality of Yukikaze on blu-ray in comparison to the DVD version? I've had the DVDs forever and it's one of my favorite shows. I know the blu-ray is an upscale due to the original series being made before the HD era. Any sites out there with screenshot comparisons or anything like that?

I've finally sold enough on Ebay to justify purchasing the Macross Plus Blu-ray Boxset for myself. It's the most expensive anime I've ever bought all in one chunk, but I had to own a nice version of one of my favorite animes of all time! While I wait for it to arrive I wanted to ask if anyone has a nice version of the full artwork by Hidetaka Tenjin on the boxset itself? I'm only able to find low quality versions by searching. I would like something that would work as a phone wallpaper.
