I have had nothing but good transactions with Mandrake for the last year and a half of recollecting Macross and other lines. Maybe they will offer the other services (FedEX/DHL), obviously at a higher cost. I think I'm just gonna have to go on a collection hiatus for a while unless already in the states. And you in the Med industry, I in the military, this isn't going to be just a few weeks. Regardless of toys, all of you stay safe out there and keep your families healthy. The problem with the lock-down is there are already numerous people throughout the world meeting up in masse and blatantly ignoring various countries orders. Or those countries that's own government officials state "Don't worry, you can go to that (insert any gathering/protest/march), and show how strong and in solidarity with that cause you are. Covid wont get ya. Well, now some of those countries are topping the list. And if any of you are inclined https://ncov2019.live/data 17 year old created the site. Damn smart kid and updates 2 times per day if not more.

I'm worried you may be right @sqidd. Arcadia isn't nearly as big as Bandai to be able to absorb what repercussions this pandemic is going to (and already has in some instances) do to smaller manufacturers. -
I highly recommend you look into Mo Show Gundam. Third party, little spendy, but the build quality is in my opinion much better then officiall releases. I have the metal kingdom Strike that dropped a month or so ago. Pretty solid toy for sure. I recommend https://kumastyledesigns.com Kumastyles is a.member here and does extremely well put together reviews.

I was in the same boat as you LRS this time around NOV 18. At that time it was the DX VF-1J with stand. I bought that, and well...probably about 6 k more since then. Only thing I am not happy about is the email from my original account (Rune - named after my son who is an adult now- I am old) was from Road Runner and the only way to get it reactivated was through an email sent to it. Yep, well, that's entirely on me. But I had stopped when the Yamato VF-1A Cannon Fodder was released. I ended up selling my entire collection then to pay my way through a divorce. HUGE MISTAKE. But, I get to enjoy re-acquiring those toys. And now, if I had to do it all over again, The toys would stay no matter what! And to let you know, the HMR line is a fun line for sure.

That's wwhat's happened on all of the releases so far, there seems to be about a 3 day window after release where the scalpers will be in a war with one another. Dropping the price "somewhat " comparable to release rate.

Seems like many of these places are already showing "Sold Out." Now I have to wonder how reliable they may be with securing all of the orders. Or, are they allotted so many and mark as "Sold out" once that stock depletes?

Yeah good call. Kind of kicking myself there. Owed this year in taxes and have been playing catch up on some purchases. And missed the second batch of them. I'll compare the places tomorrow and make a decision on who gets my moneys..

Toilet paper

Was in Walmart yesterday and NOT for toilet paper. These two ladies were going at each other. Felt bad for the husbands. Both were trying to get thier significantly other involved. Over....toilet paper. Peoples priorities are out of whack. Glad I happened to go to Dams Club 4 weeks back and bought a few. I'm set for a year at least.

Just got these two. From USA Gundam Store. Huge discounted and sale price. 550.00 shipped for both. BUT FEDEX clobbered the outer box of the Drift so bad you can see on the top of the box that there is a fairly noticeable tear. Toy is fine. USA Gundam offered to refund shipping and give me a 10% additional refund, AND another 10% on a future purchase. First time buying from this store. I saw the sale last week when I was in a USO in Richmond, VA while surfing my phone. They got a customer for life. What a refreshing experience. Haven't opened them yet, but will very soon.

Thankfully my kids are now old enough where they dont pose nearly as much risk as they did when they were younger.

Looks like that may very well be the intent. I'll know that the next DX release is happening when I start to get a bajillion emails from this thread. Although the last few days have been busier then normal.
