NY order 701XXX just changed to preparation in progress, for anyone in the same boat for the 1S

Yeah makes sense, to be honest I am only using NY because over in the UK they were the only site that sent the item as a gift and I didnt have to pay import duty here in the UK. Every other seller I have used I have had to pay import duty which is around after a 25% markup, so it adds up very quickly. But otherwise yes depending on how badly I want the item I will just buy after from someone else.

I'm still playing the NY waiting game, like 701XXX, did buy on PO night after being cart jacked at the original price so paid the 25,800 Price. I'm gonna keep it in battroid mode when it comes and keep the Yamato 1/48 VF-1S in fighter mode with all the fast packs and missles. I still think Yamato nailed the fighter profile all those years ago.

Why not have more folding panels like the new transformers masterpiece figures to create those extra volumes that then fold away?

Great custom. Collection @Kicker773, do you do it yourself or commission them? I do love my yammie 1/48s, just wished the hands weren't as dainty

I still. Prefer. The 29 as a design. Probably why didn't bother buying any 25s because the 29 was so much better as a design.

I just realised that the packaging for the 1/48 isn't like the thick fold boxes of the VF-31 or the YF-19, which is rather disappointing. Sorry for stating the obvious. I thought the Max would have gone back to this style.

I have combined shipping from NY with Riobot Yellow, so no idea when that figure is released so might be a bit of a wait for me. But cant wait for it.

I am in the same boat, I could purchase the VF-0D normal at a much lower price than the PF VF-0D will be or wait. But worried both will have those leg issues which I really dont want.

Yep, I hate getting these letters, could have bought another VALK with all the import duties I have had. So far only NY has been the only site that has bypassed this. HLJ, CDJ, HS, Ami, Mandarake, all put the full amount and thus get charged this horrendous amount.

I paid the inflated price of 25,800 on NY after the cart jacking on other sites. With regards to scalpers, this is a reality of other toy lines and any other event really. I mean have you ever tried buying tickets for sporting events or gigs? There is no real way to stop it. However those that buy multiple Valks on here, with the title of being a collector, does that make you a scalper? Are you going to sell them on later at cost price if you decrease your collection for whatever reason?

Yeah I onky have year of the goat trailer so the transparent one but I do love the transformation Ah so that's what the vinyl covers look like, good tip might do that then -

Just got this, I already have a Hasbro MP 10, but this transform Element optimus is so much better. I guess it's based of the MP 44 soon to be released but the price of that is ridiculous.
