Tried and my debit card was insta-rejected. So no... :(

Strange, any purchases I've made weren't taken for 3 days. Every time too.

I only want one 31A so I'm refraining from ordering another at this time; however, I would hate to miss out or end up having to fork over exorbitant amounts for a copy on the secondary market.

Prices will go into orbit. It's a highly sought after valk by looks of it.

  3. Now if they could just release a hero 31 in cf colours that would be worth a purchase. And the nuns vf-22, I want it more and more. Come on bandai do it.

I can't believe that we only got one Draken but five Siegfried releases. Come on Bandai to the pope head and the Elvis Valkyrie too.

Agreed, i would like Bandai to release both to help fill out the sv262 ranks a bit. Oh, and hope they throw a NUNS vf-22 in as well at some point. It's definitely worthy.

  5. They are a good alternative to the fighter mode bandai stands. You could definitely set some up to make a flight formation. Or even have them in rows at different heights for a collection display. Personally i want some of those yeti stands so i can have some really dynamic poses for my valks.

At first I thought you were comparing NY’s release price to ebay’s current price because NY was way cheaper.

All of these VF-31A pics are awesome.  I especially like the ones that make it look realistically flying in the skies.

No, I was referring to today's prices. It would be cheaper back in 2014 ;)

I agree. I want to have my first Yamato Arm in MSRP. Though they have to update it so it can hold all of their models. I know it was designed for VF-1 specific back then. Or they could just reissue and update those Mighty Stands too. ;)

I want them to revisit the YF-21 too. But only time will tell. And by then, I'm already old and probably sold some of my collections.

It would be nice just to have some more in circulation as they are fairly rare bird these days.

Seems a better bet for bandai to release 1/60 scale valks for m+, since they teased m+ in the tamashii nations trailer winter past.

arcadia most probably will sit out m+, for a while...now I want them to try frontier instead!

Bandai actually have a pretty good excuse to make one, with there being a Nuns VF-22 in Delta. But back to Arcadia anyway ahem..

  8. I have officially finished watching macross 7! ^_^ So glad it picks up the pace towards the ending episodes with some lovely valk action. Seeing Max assault the polar star was it? in a vf-22 was definitely a highlight. He made that suicidal mission seem easy! Awesome. My overall opinion still hasn't really been swayed. I still feel it's a weaker series compared to plus, zero and frontier but it's got the odd good episode here and there. Onto re watching frontier next!

Emerald Force didn't get much love as well...

As for the VF-11C, What annoyed me is that it got blasted too often and then have the ejected canopy be caught and have the pilot's spiritia drained hehe

The Elgerzorene and Panzerzorene should have toy versions. But I guess there is no demand for it.

I bet if they had put a certain Mr Isamu Dyson in either a vf-11c or vf-19 it would be a different story! ;)

  9. I'm stoked the sv-51 is getting the Arcadia treatment (hopefully Nora & cf will follow)  but I do wonder if Arcadia will go back and finish off the the Mac plus line?

Well, we know the progenitor of The Vision of Escaflowne did end up rolled into Macross and at least one of its designs did become a Windermerean fighter: Fanelia's LV-7 Valorous Rapier "Excalibur" became the Sv-154 Svard.

Kawamori's never been one to let an old idea or design go.

I remember hearing something similar  about that on the speakerpodcast. I really loved Dilandau's red alseides guymelef. I would love to see that head design transfered over to macross in some form of valkyrie design... Or enemy mecha.

It's not so much that I like their discount system but being one of the cheapest places to get preorders and a little more off on top is hardly something to complain about. I'm glad you are able to find consistently lower prices elsewhere that no one else can find. You should keep those sources secret, lol!

I don't know how anyone could tbh  hopefully they sort it out though.  I've not had much experience with pre orders through them,  just the premium vf-0s so far. Some of their prices for valks are overpriced and some are similar to other retailers. They are out there, just got to find them lol ^_^

eBay being cheaper than NY. That joke is too early, April still far away.

No joke. But if saving money is a joke,  you can call me the Joker :p

Ah right, you were referring to post-release pricing. The discount price of N-Y, in my lexicon anyway, are the discounted pre-order prices N-Y has over the rest.
Anything after release dates, N-Y effectively marks valks up so i dont see them as discounted valks...

    of course non-renewals, vf-171 CF's and the odd Percival 29 notwithstanding :p

    Thanks for clearing it up....

I've only had one dealing with NY regarding pre orders. That's the Arcadia  vf-0s premium currently on pre order. It's hardly a low price pre order but I have not had a look around for anywhere cheaper on that one. Of the stuff I have bought from them recently, I'm not impressed with their slow processing and shipping times and the crap discount you get for spending big money with them, it takes the p×ss! No problem, thankfully there are a few places for pre orders when it comes to valks ;)

@TrickyCustomer Yes I shop around quite a bit.

Are you talking about new releases or items that have been released for a while? It’s tough to beat new releases at NY. Please let us know where you’re seeing cheaper preorder prices

For items that have been out for a while I find yahoo auctions, rakuten and mandarake to be fair. Find something on eBay once in a long while but that’s more the exception than the rule.

I was speaking more about their general prices. Jungle is another good site similar to mandarake.
