At least no additional costs, eh?! A Macross collectors' life can be so hard...
Indeed sir, from finding to buying, waiting times to extra costs, and from quality issues to storage space. All hurdles one may come across when buying valks. Still... We endure

Delta is the worst Macross series. It's essentially the Star Trek: The Motionless Picture of Macross shows. Boring as hell and nothing interesting happens.
(Yes I consider TMP the worst Trek movie, even worse than The Final Frontier.)
Macross 7 was the worst macross series I've ever seen. My God So repetitive and drawn out uuuhhh. Think there was one good episode I enjoyed, that's it. The one where max flies into that cave to blow sh#t up. Mac 2 I hold in high regard as it was one of the first series of macross I watched. That and Mac plus created my interest in macross. Delta has faults sure, but it's nowhere near as bad as watching Mac 7.

Then you're lucky, it took me 2 years to get one at a reasonable price and without paying high taxes. But was worth the wait.
Yeah I paid £275 all in for this one. Told them to mark it as gift as well! Lol

Thanks man appreciate it

I know that feeling too well.. My two separate purchases of the HMR VF-1J with the GBP and the HMR VF-2ss (Silvie) both from Manda from got dinged by CSBA upon arrival in YVR (paid roughly close to $120 CDN for both)..
It's unfortunately part of the game I'm finding. Only way around is to find sellers that know how to bypass it by marking as gift or low value. On the plus side think I have finally found a 25g I was after

I got my J and S type F-14s from Calibre wings in yesterday. These look really cool. And if the numbering can be believed I scored 001 of 2000 on the J type.
I so hope they do a Low Viz version of this plane with the UN Spacy logos.. I'd be all over that. Next up is to add the RMS Style AIM-54s to my VF-103 F-14.. lol
Jealous! lol No.1 is a big deal. Keep hold of it! They look stunning. i've got the S pre ordered but it says june release but hope it's out sooner!

How are the hips holding together?
I don't think this one will ever leave fighter mode buddy. I have a few arcadia valks now including the vf-0d, yf-19, vf-1s roy with s-parts and vf-0s (premium pre order) I have heard that the hips are weak on some of them so i don't know if i will risk the transformation. I did pick up the yamato version though for £160 so that will be the one for battroid i think. Do you have this yourself?

hehe! that's a good way to look at it! I like it!
yep.. will indeed but what can you do? Guess we'll just have to wait and see how that pans out.
Ha I'd say value would go up regardless though due to it being such a popular item. I'm going back a series now and i'm after a 25g next. then the rest of the frontier valks.

Don't worry. I wasn't referring to the 25A's. 25A's from what I heard form people here are super solid.
You can email Jungle for more info and you can also request for photos of the said item.
What's so funny with these Japanese second-hand shops is that when they say 'damage' it's more like dings and bents on the corner. Unless ofcourse, they say it as 'heavily damage'. And they still confirm that the item inside is pretty much safe.
Ah that's a relief lol Yeah i know that they really do take care of their stuff over there. There is a huge market for second hand stuff in japan which is cool. I bought one of my 25a's from there for a good price and sealed too.

I'm kind of confuse. So if you're going to sell it. You're not going to sell it to someone who have multiples already? Is that correct? I mean, it's just a sale, right?
Yes why sell to someone who already has one when others have lost out? Doesn't seem fair to me.

HaHa well if i was to let one go it would be to someone who lost out on their order and not someone already who has one or two or three of them already. But this is if's and but's and not definite that i would sell.

Sadly, if you'd like like to sell it (what I do not intend to do in years) customers are not aware of this increase. But to be honest, the personal value of these items for myself is even much higher
I don't think anyone would be able to afford the tax lol

Yeah, taxes and fees are a bad thing. I have to deal with that problem here in Germany, too. At this time I have four shipments en route from Japan (The Kairos and 3 containing model kits). I tried to keep values low, so that some of them hopefully slip through customs, but the Kairos definitely won't! So mine will also get a gonvernment-funded increase in value on my cost. And not to mention the increased delivery time until I get informed by customs that I can collect it. The Kairos currently sits on Chubu Airport and so I think it will take 2 weeks until it will touch down in the shelf.
All you American buyers: You seem to be really lucky concerning extra fees/taxes and delivery time. So stop complaining so much about the latter one!
Agreed! It's horrible to know that expensive valk/s you forked out for just got a whole lot more expensive! lol well their value just increased!

Definitely not a random thing when it comes to the government making revenue through importation of goods.. sucks either way.

True there but no one like's Luca's 25 lol

Do you want a mint box, or a mint valk?
I've had plenty of new valks show up in damaged boxes just via shipping, to the point I don't care anymore about dinged corners and the like.
Both, I like my stuff in mint boxes. It annoys me if it arrives damaged.

Do you think bandai will ever do another release of vf-25 valkyries?
