Seeing as mac 2 and mac plus were what drew me into the Macross series the yf-19/21 and VF-11b were a must for me. I did a lot of research on which is best and watched scorched earth toys very indepth review of the Arcadia, yamato and bandai versions. He compares all versions together which really helps in choosing the one best suited to your needs. I went with the Arcadia 19 myself, but i highly recommend checking out his video review and site anymoon.com

Thanks, from what i have been told there was no improvements or additions to the reissue version. Look forward to it arriving shortly then. Just need Arcadia to release a VF-11b and YF-21.

Has anyone watched Sentō Yōsei Yukikaze ? Or Yukikaze (in west regions) Brilliant anime with beautifully designed fighter jets. It's like Ace Combat meets Macross. It's a 5 part series with an English dub version. Produced by Studio Gonzo and Bandai Visual. Well worth a watch for the valkyries/fighter jet fans out there.

Thanks for the reply and info. Interesting, seems they got it right the first time then? Usually they have minor tweeks or additions when doing a reissue.

My first toy was the Yamato VF-11b 1/72 figure 1st release. But don't buy that, the leg will snap easy! I have the Arcadia 1/60 VF-1S Roy Focker DYRL Movie Version shipping to me now. I heard it was a solid vf-1s figure but will know for sure when it arrives.

I currently own a Yamato  Ivanov type sv-51 (my fave all time valk) Bandai hi metal r vf-2ss Silvie type with sap parts, sv-262 draken lll, Arcadia Roy Focker DYRL movie ver and have pre-ordered the soon to be released dx vf-31a kairos and Arcadia vf-0s premium. I have also recently bought a Arcadia YF-19 (reissue) through Nippon Yassan Does such a version exist or is it still the first release Nippon Yassan have advertised. I've pre-ordered the premium vf-0s recently through Nippon Yassan. This is only because the first release is more expensive now than the premium.
