Loopaza prices are crazy though; 31-a is 295 shipped :vava:

May be better off just grabbing one off mandarake or NY after release tbh

I guess because I haven't collected for a very long time and because I missed the initial pre order way back when? I took what I could get. I didn't want to miss out on it. Hopefully in future I will have you guys to keep me in "the know" for best prices and release dates etc It was cheaper than ebay anyway. Suppose it's something. Be cool to have two in formation or one in battroid, the other fighter mode. May even get the 31s. I haven't really warmed to the hero valks, the paint schemes are a bit too crazy for me. I kinda like the real world look of the 31a and prefer the wing shape. Bit like the vf-11b. Need to find myself a grunt 25a too. More money! :D

I went through loopaza with 262 release huge markup and they charged me for expedited shipping and sent it airmail.

What did it set you back? Out of interest.

    Are they reputable?

I have a 31a already pre ordered through ebay so thought i'd try loopaza with the second. Was actually cheaper through loopaza too. As far as being reputable, I'll let you know if/when it arrives.

  4. I was looking on twitter before, it was mentioned on Macross Tweet that the pre sale in japan would be this thurs? It says the suggested retail price is 22,680 inc tax 8% Scheduled for release in july just like @no3ljm said.

Actually there was indeed an announcement about a Macross VR game from last year's Walkure concert. But beyond that there's no updates.

Really?! Awesome! Who's making it and is there a trailer? Or was it just an announcement?

I was considering all of three of them when they were widely available when I dicovered Mandarake back then. But most of the reviews I've read and watched are saying the same thing -- that they're so fragile. And knowing that they're expensive I can't pull the trigger for it before. So I'm just wishing for a bigger scale. And hopefully it comes pre-painted too. Don't mind paying the same price as the Alter ones or a little bit more as long that it's on par like Calibre Wings 1/72 scale make, I'm good to wait. ^_^

I recently pre ordered the calibre wings f-14 s Roy Focker version. Look forward to that! F14 is my favorite real world jet. Love the start of Mac zero with shin dogfighting the migs in one.

You mean the pre-built models? I have all three of them. They are awesome. Highly detailed, lots of armament options, but unfortunately very fragile. I think I broke something on all three of them when trying to arm them or put them on their display stands.

Larger toys would be very welcome indeed, but that will probably not happen given that the show is so old now.

Yes that's the ones. I'm just missing the hammerhead now. They are indeed very detailed with lots of accessories but let down by the scale and nowadays... Price. Only reason I bought them is because I'm not a model builder.

@TrickyCustomer: Did you get Lil' Draken add-ons afterwards or did you leave it as it is?

Although Delta wasn't the best series for me; however the valks on the other hand are a much better design than the Frontier ones [not a fan with the VF-25s or the YF-29s (to each their own)]. The SV-262 has made a more of a overall impression do to the Delta shaped wings (in which the Karios and the Chronos has also).

I've bought them from a trusted seller on ebay who I have had items off before. All new and sealed stuff. (262 still on route)  The Lil draken set would be worth getting I think, although i personally wouldn't attach them to the 262. They come with stands so flying in formation would look better imo. The fast pack parts that go on the legs do add a lot to the design in fighter mode while keeping the profile and paint scheme looking sharp. I will get in at some point, yes.

I'm pretty sure he just meant a Star Wars aerial game like Ace Combat. ;)

But since you mentioned Macross, I can't say the same thing though with Macross Delta.

Star wars has battlefront 2 for that, which wasn't bad for space battles. I enjoyed macross 30 for as far as I got anyway. Wish the text had an English option though. Great game regardless. Project Aces would definitely raise the bar in terms of combat and realism. I think they could definitely pull it off. Surprised they haven't got together with bandai to discuss the possibility of a macross sim/game.

Those have an uphill battle because repaints wouldn't sell. It took us this long to get a VF 2SS. The biggest Ray of hope would be the HMR line, Bandai has done some pretty cool things there.

I was excited for the nexx 1/60 vf-2ss but while I can't knock evolution for trying, they ultimately failed in my eyes. I have the HMR silvie version with sap parts on route. Should be a cool little valk to play with.

  11. As you can tell by my avatar i am a big fan of Feff's Gigamesh power armor from Mac ll. Think we will ever see a figure of it? I know there is a resin kit out there, but it's quite rare i believe. The metal siren would be an interesting figure as well. Hopefully evolution either get good or bandai/arcadia step in and have a crack at doing mac ll valkyries etc.

Yes, he is. Don't get starstruck though once he replied to your post. ^_^

I know they displayed something before but is it official that they're going to release the YF-19?

Funnily enough he replied to one of my earlier posts. Who knew..

Well, you haven't met @Spanner yet. He have atleast 3 of each to display each mode. That's how dedicated he is. ;) :drinks:

That reviewer is also a member here. Anymoon is @jenius ;)

The guy's a legend! Love his channel....and have to blame him for helping me decide to buy more valks! Seriously though, very good reviews, transformation guides and website.

I promise you it's not going to stop. ^_^

20! man that's some money's worth there....worth it!  Seems recently for me there have been "just one more" moments going on or a brand new pre-order pops up on twitter ie the dx vf-31s arad version has just been announced for example. I didn't know about the 31a kairos till last night! I must of been under a rock for that one. Thankfully managed to bag a pre order. Don't think i will be taking that one out of fighter mode though, it's far too good looking. And that's coming from the guy who thinks the hero versions look a bit lame.  As far as the 31 goes give me the cannon fodder version every time. I plan to have a hero/villain valk for each series mac plus, zero etc or stupidly buy two of the same depending on how good they look in their fighter/battroid modes. Ahem sv-262 Ahem. they were a good price to be fair :)
