  1. Wanted this for so long. Finally grabbed it! I love that full gear in flight pose
  2. I thinks it turned out more than okay, I think it looks awesome. For me it is perfect, especially for promo. Damn, I am still lacking skills to reach this result
  3. Yes, the engine compartments/legs are definitely too bulky, but not too bad as long as you don't place it next to a scale accurate model
  4. My VF-25S in SMS Pixie Squadron livery is finally done. Had some hard times during the building but now that the last matte coat is on I feel quite happy about it. Though there are some issues with the fitting of the transformable parts. Have to check these after the paint has definitely dried and as I can put some pressure onto the respective parts. Compared to the VF-31 kits it is great that the legs can be transformed to Gerwalk mode without changing of parts. Of course it would be cool if they also did this to the arms. But I think this kit is still an improvement over the VF-31s. Now give me the VF25G Version with Supers
  5. V.F.G VF-25S Messiah ist done. Not flawless but overall it'S OK for me . The last round of coating did it. More here in the VFG-Thread
  6. Concerning the paint job, the last kit I finished (modern version of a Kettenkrad) was a fun and easy build. No issues, only thing was that I ran out of paint (desert yellow) on the final paint run. But it is a cool kit, movable tracks and working suspension. Thinking about adding a kind of desert camouflage scheme.
  7. Fully agreed! I'm currently working on the VFG VF-25 Messiah kit and in the past three days I went through hell due to painting the markings. So far I used tons of masking tape due to several turns of error fixing. Slowly it seems I'll gonna approach the result I can live with. And if I manage not to mess up again with the details I think I still gonna love this birdie.
  8. NIce to see another custom build. I really like the color combinations. Well done!

    Bandai DX VF-31

Then count me in, too. I have only Messer, Mirage with Supers and a Kairos. It‘s the Frontier valks I have even some triple of. Concerning Delta I would only buy another VF-31A when it is available at a decent price. But I don’t think that this will happen Good for my wallet at least!
  10. Damn, hoped it would be only the standard version, but with supers I have to get a hold on this! And when they‘d do a tornado I need even twice. That is so mean, after the first VF-25 I thought to quit on this line. But at least the VF Master File has lots of color versions to offer
  11. I see no additional pack at all. It's only the silhouette of the backpack with the Battroid arms/shoulders in front as well as the unfolded engine compartments at the leg section. I assume differences will be the sniper rifle, the head/antennaes and parts of the girl.
  12. Love that little magic box of yours! Just great, awesome...hell I get out of words
  13. Thanks a lot! FYI (unfortunately for me) this one is not from an anime, currently it’s only a line of robot model kits. Would like to see an anime of this as it would boost the lines publicity.
  14. When I saw this I thought that I missed a Macross fighter. Looks perfect to me! Great work and cool idea!
  15. My work over Xmas holidays: Frame Arms Jagd Falx. Lying around for quite a while, but had to get rid of the big box as it took to much storage space . I gave the inner frame a gun metal finish instead of the lighter grey to make it look a bit like a Metal Build .
  16. Hah, I experienced the opposite when starting with Bandai or Kotobukyia kits. Suddenly almost no glue was needed anymore. But I can say you can’t rip off my old Hasegawas anymore, half is plastic and the other half consist of glue
  17. Wow, looks fantastic, Anubis! Great work, I really love this scheme. I have built lots of Hasegawa fighters in my early modeling years. Need some work but detail is always great.
  18. Pre-ordered this more than one and a half year ago just for fun as I liked the colors. Finally showed up today. I did not expect the box to be this huge. At first I thought someone has sent me a coffee machine No idea were to place her as she will not fit in my shelves, my wife will kill me.
  19. Looks really good so far! Especially as it is my favorite Valk in my favorite configuration I‘m looking forward to see it in the final stage.
  20. Hey dude, your living room is on fire - Cool effect!
  21. Coloring was a little bit inspired by the pilot suit of Lockon Stratos from GUNDAM 00.
  22. Yes, the wings don‘t stay tight in fighter mode. When re-adjusting the valk during the photo shots I always had to push the left wing back in its place again. Some latch would help here, especially if you want to display it over head.
