Yeah, the VF-2SS looks a bit naked out of box. Decals will surely dress it up. Mind sharing your file?

Inspired by tekering just did some minor panel wash to my Destroid Defender und put on matte topcoat. Imho the figure lost much of its toy-like character. Now it looks more like being built from a model kit, especially if placed next to my Frame Arms or MB Gundams. I like that. Hm, now what am I gonna do to my VF-2SS Nexx?

As well as matte topcoat! I think I‘ll try this on my Defender Destroid, too.

This weeks arrivals. The RX-0 Gundam Fix Figuration looks great, especially with its shimmering effect. Nice quality. Love those shields in combination with the quadruple guns (But in the end I appreciate Metal Builds overall quality and its matte finish even more )

I got the pilot figure. But I have a blemish on the lower side of the right wing, too. But as it is the lower side it is not to be noticed - at least in fighter mode.

Mine was shipped end of march and came in the brown tamashii box (just had to rummage my storage as I did not remembered it came within the brown box )

That is my current problem, too. Find the time to build the Jesta.

Thanks guys! Yes, that's enough feminine touch on the shelf by now. Next has to be some kind of mecha again! +1 for Electric Indigo. I don't like the original green coloring of the Ji-Dao. But I bet Indogos will look awesome! Gave me some inspiration in finding the color of my Frame Arms Greifen kit which I have in backlog.

After several weeks I just finished my latest kit: Pretty Armor Ver. 3 White Version (a Chinese Fram Arms Gurl bootleg kit). Despite I did not plan to build more of those girls anymore I was taken by the white/blue design of the jet bike and I gave this kit a try (Damn, wished to ride such a bike for real ). Did some minor changes towards the original design in adding golden frame and suspension parts and the grey Macross UN Spacy logo of course! (Leftover from a VT-1 decal set). I didn't like the provided 6-edged star decals, as these look really boring in contradiction to the logo with flames on the kits' box art. Also the girl got an enclosed biker suit in white/light grey color to match the UN Spacy logo . Unfortunately the bike can not do a complete transformation into an armor for the girl. Attached on the bike you can fold out the cover parts to "burst mode" but to use it as an armor on the girl you have to detach them. But as for me the normal bike mode looks best, I don't think I will transform it anyway.

Hopefully NY can fulfill all orders on the release date of the VF-2SS without running into the same delivery debacle as with the VF-31A

Just ordered the VF-2SS from NY, too. Macross II valks are still missing in my collection

At least these two boxes were in mail yesterday. Not planned but on time for B-day Years ago the RVF-25 was my first DX purchase and gave the impulse for collecting Macross. But it took me really a long time now to get a renewal Ghost Set at a reasonable price.

Gosh, I'm still arguing with myself why not getting hands on an MB 00 Gundam Seven. Looking at your purchases, why I am just waiting? So jealous and congrats btw

Yeah, the MB QAN(T) comes with a lot of options but those parts a damn fragile and have to be handled with care. I just think about getting me a second one just to display it in Burst Mode with the GN Field so I never have to detach the parts again

Arrived this morning: MB Arbalest I really love the design of this machine. And of course those MetalBuilds in general. Pricey but damn good quality.

Yeah! My first HMR just arrived:

Quick diorama setup with Gunhed and 1/35 tank crew members after finishing the Mechanical Chain Bases and adding some LED lighting. Those base plates really consumed a lot of paint as well as clear coat and masking the metallic grids/ares was no fun at all. But I'm fine with the outcome!

I imagine this could look awesome with all those edges of the armor. Waiting for the outcome
