  1. You sure? That dark-grey bit sure looks like it's made of two halves.
  2. From that it looks like the problem is that the pin is rotating in the outer piece, when it ought to be rotating in the inner piece. The gnurls are there to prevent that sort of thing and to hold it into the outer piece better. If I had to guess, probably caused by the fact the inner part of the hinge is 2 pieces, and if there's any sheer misalignment it'll cause the pin to bind and cause higher torque on the outer piece.
  3. I guess it's time to dig out the 1200DPI scanner, anyone interested in the Hasegawa -31a decal sheet? Other than that it's just Bandai Valks and Gundam stuff.
  4. Hey! They fixed the nose sensors!
  5. According to the article (and google translate):
  6. Yeah, their manufacturing quality isn't exactly up to Bandai standards, which I can understand considering they're hiring a factory rather than owning their own (like Bandai). Still, I'll take an easy fix over a complicated one.
  7. Well crap, now I need one.
  8. That's the same break I had on my Arcadia VF-1S Roy. That one is definitely due to poor nub removal on the plastic. Fixed that while it was open (shaved down the protruding plastic with a hobby blade), then glued it back shut and everything worked smoothly from then on.
  9. I think part of the problem is that the original Yamato molds they're using have really terrible nub placement. Like putting the nubs on the contact surface of the bar in a joint. If the nub sticks out even a little it will cause severe issues.
  10. I too require more desdroids. Also scout regult.
  11. Loose ankle joint after 1 transformation you mean. Mine can stand in gerwalk... but only if nobody breathes on it. The Arcadia VF-19 Kai is just a recast of the Yamato, correct?
  12. I'm glad that Arcadia re-designed the VF/YF-19 before they did their version.
  13. Just try working it back and forth a bit, you may need to apply uncomfortable amounts of force if it's like my Arcadia VF-1S Roy.
  14. I'm hoping for a VF-25 in the HMR line, or a newer version of the YF/VF-19. Might even get the VF-4, VF-11, and VF-17.
  15. That and her thong being on display regardless.
  16. Yeah, the one I picked up was 1800yen. I'd wonder why the kimono one went up in price, but I think we all know.
  17. Well so far I know that the doors cannot be printed in strong/flexible material, they need to be in the detail material due to wall thickness.
  18. Can't wait for that to show up. Alongside the SDF-1.
  19. I'm personally wondering how much parts-forming it'll use, and how the underside looks in fighter mode.
  20. Yes, it'd be nice to know for a fact it'll be better than the 1/60 VF-2SS.
  21. I don't mind if they're cheap. Both the mirage figs were like $30-$35 with shipping, and the Sheryl was I think around $25 shipped.
  22. Haven't opened my Mirages yet either, but the Sheryl figure looks good with Skull Squadron. She's about the same height as a VF-25 battroid it turns out.
  23. My first non-mecha figures (Sheryl and Mirage) just showed up on Monday, I don't judge. The whole transforming bike armor thing looked pretty cool in the pics I saw of it.
