Sending back a return to Japan probably sets them back more than a missing package, if the package was insured (SAL and EMS are insured). They can recoup the value of the lost item (up to the insured amount) from the postal service that lost it.

I think it's unfortunately the shipper who has to file for the insurance, which means you're at the mercy of NY's less-than-stellar customer service. Also, you'll probably have to wait until USPS gives up looking for it and declares the package lost in any case.

The Elintseeker was only like ¥7000, so I bought 2 instead of 1... Yeah, one's staying in the box, probably.

Just the fact it's topcoated already is a huge plus, makes figures look a lot less "toy-like".

Yeah, that's about standard with them, though I've noticed if you pre-order something early they tend to ship it fairly quick. Never bothered me that much, since I use SAL to save some money anyway.

WSF or FUD/FED for the shell, using FUD/FED will probably show some of the extra detail a bit better. If you sand it'll almost certainly remove the 0.2mm tall stuff. The doors need to be FUD/FED. If you wait until Tuesady or so, I'm going to try combining some of the parts together on a runner so they can be printed as 1 piece, and cost a bit less. -

Pretty much my take on it. To get decals to replace all the stickers, apply them, get them looking nice with microsol, and then topcoat the entire kit would be a couple days of work.

That works for decals, these are stickers, which you just can't get looking good due to the thickness.

Ah, thank god. That really helps pose the one I have with the bad knee joints, with the stand I can actually have it standing.

Good luck with the YF-21, the only 1/60 of it is old Yamato, and costs around $350 (or more) right now.

Yamato SDF-1 price, no idea, there's still Arcadia ones NIB for sale in retail stores, may want to wait until those aren't competing. 31J, someone's selling theirs for $220 right now on this board. Sv-262, the retail seems to be around ¥17000-¥19000, and used ones are on Mandarake for ¥14000-¥17000 No idea on the HMR VF-1s. Just saw 3 Regults go for $75 each on this board, shipping incl.
