  1. Decision overload While confirming Blu-ray with a pose, I made a projection unit! Osassu Modeler seems to be an entrant with the regular captain of the macross series pretended!
  2. Durability is good, but the features melted together, had huge amounts of nubs that needed to be cleaned (all over), and one part had a gigantic print line through it.
  3. Looking good, those details definitely call for FUD/FED printing. After getting a test-part, I would not suggest acrylate.
  4. So, according to HLJ, it's 15.5cm tall. If this is referring just to the girl, then that puts it a bit shorter (~10%) than the 17cm of the Banpresto Mirage.
  5. Agreed, I would also instabuy a Mirage version.
  6. Quick, someone do a Mirage custom with it?
  7. I got 2 things in the mail today. The 00 Raiser I picked up at the beginning of October on sale from Nippon Yasan and just arrived. The book shipped out Monday from Amazon.
  8. Yeah, the armor parts in Delta were pretty underwhelming. Then again, so was the lack of missile massacre and the combat scenes...
  9. So, for least cleanup you want either Frosted Ultra Detail or Frosted Extreme Detail. However, both are a bit more brittle than any of the strong+flexible plastics or the Acrylate. Acrylate is very durable and has decent detail (similar to FUD), but will require more cleanup of the support nubs and also you'll need an 0.5mm drill bit to clean out the holes for the hinge shafts. Personally I printed mine out of FUD, and the only part I'm worried about breaking is the doors. Note that the doors cannot be printed out of anything but FUD, FED, or Acrylate due to the 0.5mm hole.
  10. Good luck, all those details are beyond what I can model up in CAD.
  11. Those are assembled and painted figures (accessories for figures in this case) rather than model kits.
  12. No problem, be sure to take some WIP pics, I'd like to see how it goes. Also feel free to PM me with any questions you have on the assembly.
  13. Here you go: 1:60 http://www.mediafire.com/file/6a9ckyxeijkcg4a/1%3A60 VF-31 Missile Pod.zip 1:72 http://www.mediafire.com/file/bfm8q5hku5wxlpz/1%3A72 VF-31 Missile Pod.zip I've got no problems with you taking it to a local printer, only if you start selling it.
  14. Yes please? Hopefully they're also doing a YF-19 to go along with, one which is improved from their VF-19 Hi Metals.
  15. I'd suggest something thinner like silk or a fabric with similar thickness/flexibility. Canvas or felt never looks right when used for something of that scale, with how huge the folds and wrinkles are relative.
  16. Ok, the 1:60s ought to be showing up now. https://www.shapeways.com/shops/questionably-sane-models I'll upload the raw STL files a bit later tonight to an imagehost somewhere.
  17. I am amazed, just got shipping notice for my missile Regults, about a week before NY's estimated release date. Usually it's like 1-2weeks after the release date with them.
  18. https://www.shapeways.com/shops/questionably-sane-models It's not even midnight on Sunday, that's like 2 hours earlier than I'd planned. [edit] Made a shop just to make it easier to find everything, there's no markup on any of the parts.
  19. In order from least sturdy to most: VF-25, VF-27, VF-31. It's much better, pretty much everything tabs solidly into place. The stickers/decals are a nightmare, but that's normal for a transforming plastic model, especially with the pinstriping on the 31s.
  20. I think he's more talking about the possibility they strip paint.
  21. I'll be honest, I'm not a big fan of any of the mods I've seen that have the missiles pointing out from the break in the weapon pod.
  22. Alright, going to try and get the last kinks worked out of the CAD files and upload them/make everything available this weekend.
  23. No problem then, you want me to send you the files, or just put em up on Shapeways?
