    SCOOP thread!

<!--quoteo(post=848160:date=May 1 2010, 11:34 PM:name=Vi-RS)--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Vi-RS @ May 1 2010, 11:34 PM) <a href="index.php?act=findpost&pid=848160"><{POST_SNAPBACK}></a></div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Special weathering V2 Strike parts avaialble at SHIZUOKA HOBBY SHOW.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> Apparently there will also be a "follow-up" to Yamato's VF-19改 ・「1/60完全変形VF-19改ファイヤーバルキリー」の続報! I also found interesting that Yamato will have a Macross F item: ・「マクロスF」オズマ・リータイプ バイク用ヘルメット(仮)の商品化が決定! イメージデザイン画をパネルにて発表! Google translate: "Macross F" type motorcycle helmets Ozma Lee (tentative) decision for commercial production? Image sketches presented at the panel!
  2. A "preview" for a webcam version has been released, and it does look terrible... but still no signs of a release date for the DVD / Blu-ray ...
  3. AmiAmi has had it for pre-order for some time now. Hmmm... the change in the color of the visor makes me think that Bandai wants to 'do a Yamato' when/if they release the GBP...
  4. Moved to April 30th now according to Amazon ... unless it's an April Fool's joke
  5. I guess he got over-excited and captured EVERY SINGLE ANGLE of the cardboard box Anyway it gets better... The leg cover can be removed to show part of the City and the Concert Hall: http://mactama.com/mt/toy/macross/yamato/2...yokogata_02.htm
  6. Apparently the original topic for this thing is closed. For those interested in the details and comparisons: http://mactama.com/mt/toy/macross/yamato/2...01_full_box.htm edit: "extense pictorial" should've read "extensive pictorial"
  7. Apparently the reissue YF-19 will include a new set of decals...
  8. Looks like this one will have more replaceable parts than the 19: - heatshield - intake covers - landing gear (these don't count since the 19 doesn't have any ) - hands Still, it looks nice and I can't wait to put it next to the Toynami Battlepod
  9. Received the hinges yesterday, thanks Graham!
  10. It doesn't, but according to this post by Ngee Khiong, one is in development: Tamashii Web mentioned that with the landing gear, plus the stability of the Gerwalk mode, a display base is not exactly needed. But a display base with adjustable angle is currently under development anyway. To be sold separately. ("現在、角度調整できる別売り台座を開発中です"). Funny thing is they are acknowledging that the stand of the VF-25 is NECESSARY; I, for one, really hate that about the VF-25. I hope they use all the improvements of the 27 in a new version of the 25
  11. NICE!!!! I wonder if they were able to fix the pilot's colors on time... looks too white to me
  12. A couple of new pics (from Happinet Online): edit: found higher resolution pics
  13. Ok, thx! In the meantime I'm still looking for a hosting site that can take big-sized files
  14. Thanks for the links! Regarding the VF-25, looks like they used the 1st version in this photoshoot. Since apparently we're not getting any improvements, at least I hope it's a white VF-25F with the darker / metallic gray details of the reissue (see pic). edit: uploaded wrong pic, doh!
  15. I've been checking where to upload the files... everything seems to be torrents now. Regarding the horizontal lines, I haven't seen any. I watched eps. 45 - 48 over the weekend and I didn't notice anything like that. I'll check again today in the earlier episodes. Did you idetnify any episode in particular where this happens?
  16. In one of the threads (unfortunately can't remember which one) there are pics of a VF-25 CF, custom-made by a member from a VF-25G. It was later sold on eBay if I remember correctly...
  17. I was finally able to take out my VF-19. I like it very much; compared to the VF-25 from the VF100's line, this is WAY better. Although there are removable parts, the main body is fully transformable... i insist, it would’ve been nice if the VF100 line was like this. Unfortunately... I had the "prong issue". The right shoulder popped out during transformation from fighter to battroid. One of the prongs showed signs of wear on the parts that hold to the slot (in the FIRST transformation). The worst thing is that I saw stress marks on the RED part of the shoulder. I panicked and reattached the arm right away, but I should've taken a pic to show what it looks like. I think this will be a big issue with the upcoming speaker shoulders. I see no other way to replace the shoulders than to pop off the arm. Prong issue aside, I think this line is going in the right direction. Bandai should've named it VF100's PLUS or something like that because, as many have mentioned, "Hi-Metal" really doesn't make sense since the metal content is minimum.
  18. Yes please!! Especially the ones that haven't been uploaded by VIP: ep. 49, encore, movie and dynamite
  19. A;parently they mention here: http://tamashii.jp/t_item/t_item.php?eid=00021 something about the Blazer Valk and something about Macross Plus too So far, this line appears to be what many of us expected from the VF100's
  20. According to Yamato: 2010年1月 出荷予定 Just "January"... should be @ the 25th or so
  21. Those are not new, but these are: http://ga.sbcr.jp/mnews/014339/ I'm really looking forward to this VF but, unfortunately, there appears to be a color difference between the plastic and metal parts
