Why I like transformers .... fun . Now if the movie has this plus a decent story great. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=68...movie&hl=en http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3...movie&hl=en http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3...movie&hl=en http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5...movie&hl=en

Beacuse if you show all the modes at once, then you have nothing to show in the magazines over the next few months and people may forget about the product. Showing each mode a few months apart helps build up anticipation and keeps it fresh in peoples minds. Graham 424944 Well its working b/c i've been on pins and needles from the start.

after careful examination of the pics by Jenius I have to say that in the following fighter - - - - - - 1/48 battroid - - - - - 1/48 gerwalk - - - - - 1/48 and toynami Tie i though that i would give fighter to the 1/60 b/c i think it looks great in that mode but after comparing it to the 1/48. the 1/60 lost out due to the curve of the nose on the 1/48. Battroid mode skinny arms or not the toynami doesn't cut it and the 1/60 comes close except for the vf-1s head issue. As for gerwalk. I was going to give it to the Toynami simply b/c it holds the stance (feet seem to be flush with ground). the 1/48 does gerwalk very well also and so its a tie for mee

I just want a solidly built, perfect transformation, no loose or floppy anything, in a smaller box, tampo marked, lineart accurate, never breaking, no fragile parts, Color scheme correct, and Low Priced Valk (this applies to 2 seater valks as well) Now i ask you is this really too much to ask for?

On a slightly unrelated topic... i picked up the diecast Prime and Megatron. Overall they arent bad. They could be better. I got them at the Target near home. $15 each. So i'm not complaining too much. I had to wrestle them out of the package. One thing i dont like about Prime is his detachable arms. They come off if your not careful On Megatron his legs dont stay in place when in bot mode. they're ok if you dont expect alot of posing out of them. They're mostly die cast the connectors for the arms and legs are plastic. if you havent seen them they arent very tall. they're about as tall as the Mazinger Z Chogokin figure. On the Plus side they aren't expensive and they feel very sturdy. The wheels on Prime rotate and he comes with a stand. Megatron is cool but he's a tank still a weapon (not a gun ) Megatron also comes with a stand. I like them I wouldnt get bunch of them but I like them. size comparison I havent got an actual pic with me to show yet. -
yeah, I mentioned that idea for the SDF-1. but I think it fits the ghost even more because it doesn't transform and hence the easiest to sell in separate pieces... probably wont happen though~ 423681 its a great incentive... that has a tendency to go wrong. lets say for example that for whatever reason they make less of one fighter than another and that leaves many consumers out in the cold. Or lets say that you want only the ghost part but not a particular fighter then you forced to buy something you dont want. Sure you can sell it off but you still have to go thru the effort of buying it only to get rid of it later on.

if they (edit: not necessarily Toynami)had done the Destroids, in a 1/100 scale in a similar manner as the superposables that would have OK with me. or if they did them in 1/60 scale for 20-30 bucks that would be excellent. I'd have em all lined up next to all my 1/60 Vf-1 that would be sweet.
-
the 1/100 do look nice in pics but the reviews have been less than stellar minor problems are forgiveable everything breaks at some point through age or usage. the bandai were great for their time but like you said competition has increased which should push companies to produce a better product in order to control that segment of that market. Filling the 1/100 void with these seems to be a good move on Toynami's part but as word spreads like it does here then....well i guess these discussions end up taking place.
-
hey when did the 1/55 classic ever do something wrong. Sure its heavy but its solid. Its not a hammer. I like them alot. You know I think the real culprit is Toynami. Iits great that 1/100 is available and affordable but Toynami just doesnt make a qualtiy product. And "Throw-Away" toys c'mon who want to buy something just to trash it in a couple of days or weeks.
-
it sucks that the stand broke but Toy-crap-nami seems to want to continue on with its splendid history of Quality Control. I own the superposable and they're Ok. but its a stand with a ball joint right, it shouldnt Break .

well accroding to tformers both SS and OP will be availble later this month in japan. and according to their forum theres no roller. it an exclusive for 3000 YEN ($30 US) http://www.tformers.com/article.php?sid=6310 I dont plan on getting either . The color on Satrscream is a big, huge disappointment and I dont need the Trailer and I'm not about to hunt down a Roller on ebay for over ...who knows how much. If they had gone with the orginal color scheme then I definately would have bought Starscream. Though the toy looks good overall its not what i was looking forward too. and as for Prime well I've got the 20th Anniv Version (4 of them) He look so good in Bot mode that i cant see spending $$ just to get the trailer. If they offer Starscream in the proper color scheme and its not an exclusive then I'll get him and maybe get this version later on but for now its not gonna happen. edit :alt car lineup so far : http://www.tformers.com/Alternators_Guide.php and hasbro has Camshaft for sale on their website: http://www.hasbrotoyshop.com/ProductsByBra...?BR=496&SBR=167 -
