Thanks for the info guys I was begining to think that maybe i`d pissed off someone or that some weirdness was going on with my mail provider.

I have a friend who used and still does occasionally work painting Radio controlled car shells for competition use, He suplimented that with custom paint and detailing jobs of the 1/18 and bigger scale models by Tamiya and the like. He branched out into doing crash helmets for motor bikers and competition racing cars. In the end the Crash hat were the only thing making him money. At least now he gets paid and the car shells get paid for by the RC mags who he works for for photo shoots. Rule is most hobbies never make you rich, unless your hobby is Indie car racing and you happen to own or drive for the team.

Mmmm sounds good I have a friend who might like to do this. She is touting for work at the moment . Shes already done some anime work.

Hi all I just noticed that the Auto responder is not working for me at the moment. Is this due to some planned maintanence of a fault, Im fairly sure its not my mail provider but I just wanted to ask. It is entirely possible that this has been mentioned somewhere on the forum but I just missed it or something.

Nah I was going to go in March to be there in time for Sakura but work got in the way. this is only a short trip mostly for shopping and visiting my friends. I have done a lot of Sight seeing the last few times I have been here. Although I am going to the Botanical Gardens tommorow, to feed my Plant obsession.

Great blog and insiteful too. some of the info is great as I was planning to do a similar trip next year. Currently I am in Tokyo and also have a blog of sorts on the go. I wont post it here as that would be unfair so, if anyones interested youll have to look for it in this section.

As I have said before the 1/55 just needs its own section. Interest is high enough to grant it that. Even some sort of sub section in toys would be better than nothing.

The whole francise just says one thing. The future is already set. what ever you do you will end up doing.... Think of it as your traveling down a straight road, weather you drive down it in a car, walk, or crawl on your ass, and stop on the way, the point is you will get to the end of the road eventually. T2 and T3 showed this that even though they changed the future it still happens. It is enevitable. Skynet is a global network of computers and factorys and stuff, you cant just kill it, a point that Conner worked out in T3. Whats to say that Skynet didnt send back some T800`s/ T101`s into the past just to help set its self up for the future, Put some skin on them Load em up with engineering 101 and a bit of human history. Pop a couple back to the 90`s and a few to help Skynet rise from the ashes of the Nukes. I always had a problem with how a bunch of computers networked together could take over the world, this would fix that. Skynet creates itself. It already knows the T800 will fail but is nessesarry for its own creation. It is the creator of its own pradox. Perfect !!! Be your own dad the ultimate in time travel

Yeah gritty but still holding true to the feel of the T.V series. I also like The Undiscovered Country and First Contact. But I have all the movies though.

Death beam, Laser beam, Plasma beam, to the uneducated they are one in the same. Im sure that even if we are told (in the film ) that they are Plasma, the majority of people watching will still refer to them as Lasers. Its just that Lasers have been engrained in the Sci Fi world for so long now that everyone has to have one.

Yeah the Q-tip method is the best way. I have used 90% on a few of my chunkies but these have all been yellowed and destined to be customed. Otherwise just use 70% or less. 90% on a Q-tip removes paint nicely on Transformers, So you can paint em properly.

nice to get that trailer in Hi def. I so love Quicktime pro, downloaded and saved on my media center.

I have a 1 gallon can of 90%, as David says its great for stripping paint and cleaning brushes and Air Brushes. Love the stuff.
