I can’t imagine they reissue it with the same problem. From the way it sounded, all later shipments of it were fixed.

A reissue of the 35th? Odd choice but I guess for some reason it must be popular because I’ve never seen it significantly discounted like some other Valks.

Nice pics! For the backpack, the HMR has a "lock" for it - after you flip it up, push the entire pack downwards and that should help keep it in place.

Yep, happens all the time even with toy collectors and Macross fans who see it for the first time. They always ask, "does that actually transform?"

I was reading @F360’s post in the other thread and agreed with it. Just makes sense that each release should have its own thread that includes everything about it. But, @jenius makes a great point here that different products might need different treatment. Since PO Madness only applies to Bandai, this thread should just be dedicated to items that apply. No need to include all Macross POs here if there is no “madness” involved. That’s all I got. The search here is nearly useless so I don’t even try and I don’t care either way. Like I said in the other thread, I’m just here to enjoy Macross with others who share the craze and it doesn’t matter which thread I do that in.

That's interesting. I recently got an Airmail package from CDJ. It worked out well since it was cheaper than any other option and it arrived fairly quickly. I think their limit is 7000Y for the item if you want that option though.

Nice pickup! One of my favorite Valks ever and yeah, the Yammie 1/48s are great toys to this day. Still the smoothest perfect transformation ever. As for the adapter...I don't remember but doesn't the Valk come with the adapters needed?

Just use whatever base Valk fits in the armor and swap the head to whatever you like...

Haha yeah I passed on Gigan before even when it was on clearance because I wasn't sure if I wanted to go down that path. Well, I went there and now it's double the price that I could have got it for back then but it now comes with more stuff and I'm actually happy about waiting and getting it now. Not so much about paying more but that went through the window a while ago when I started buying $200+ Valks like candy. As for the comparison, I'm with you and @Chronocidal...I have both and like it that way!
