  1. Haha, I just did the same. Added that MCU Red Skull to my order for the heck of it.
  2. I feel like Bandai already has a direct lifeline injected into me, draining my life in exchange for plastic crack.
  3. Slave IV

    Bandai DX VF-31

Or 30,000 for a new one from NY...
  4. I normally don’t buy HW 3 packs but impulse bought these today mainly for the Porsche and Mclaren but the muscle cars are a nice bonus.
  5. Nice! Is Great Mazinger extending up past the next shelf? Kinda looks like it shouldn’t fit back there unless the shelf is open at the back for it to pass through.
  6. Yeah, probably not worth the cost if you plan on moving soon. If you own and plan to sell on the other hand, might be worth the investment. Good point about carpet possibly breaking up and creating more dust. Main point is, a good sealed cabinet helps to protect your collection. My details is full of dust, my billy with glass doors and no seal is pretty dust free.
  7. Again, all good. Different tastes are common. To me, even the worst of this line are better than the best of other company attempts. Only Cap is really off to me lookswise but it comes with nice options and accessories.
  8. Yep, whatever floats whoever’s boat. I collect almost any and all Marvel comic style figures and am happy to have the options. Personally, I prefer better quality figures than Hasbro has to offer but Hasbro gives me the variety I don’t get from other options. Good thing to me is they all look great together. For the AY line, Carnage, Spider-Gwen, Deadpool and Spider-Man are the top four with Cap and Venom being the lowest. Still, AY Venom is way better than any ML version ever made. Cap loses points because it doesn’t look like any style I really like. Interesting @sh9000 you say AY figures look off when posed...I find it to be the opposite. They are designed to be posed with extreme “action” in mind and it’s easy to hide the joints when you do so. When you handle one of the figures, it is very apparent that the designers had all of this in mind and purposely made joints a certain way so you can pose away with ways to hide joints designed into it. It’s when they are standing statically, it is harder to deal with because they are designed to be in action poses, not standing straight. MLS on the other hand, often look terrible when posed extremely because the sculpted detail is all misaligned and often restricting articulation altogether. Anyways, like I said, I like them all for what they are and I’m really happy other companies are offering options.
  9. True! Other than the “even less worth getting” part. It’s the best line in comic style toys ever...every one of them is worth getting, IMO. I think there are only 8 at this point.
  10. Carpet is filthy so yeah, I definitely recommend anything else but I can tell you I have all wood floors in my house and things still get dusty so it's not an issue of carpets. Dust comes from people, the the air all around and outside so it depends more on your area and how much activity in in your house. Carpet will just collect dust but won't create it.
  11. Kairos color on Chronos would be ideal. Great pics all around!
  12. Haha, Macross is my biggest focus in collecting and you worded it perfectly, "joy and destitution" sums it up! But Disney has me by the balls. Macross is my favorite anime series of all time but Marvel and Star Wars are my all time favorite franchises and they break me! Doesn't help when there are figures this good being released for them. If you don't have a strong passion for it, I say it's best to stay away because if you start dipping in, you will get sucked in to another rabbit hole!
  13. This thing is ridiculously good! Gives me the creeps, it's so scary looking. 1/12 figure of the year! I don't want to put it down!
  14. The difference between the standing and banking adapters is just the angle of the peg hole to fit the Valk either one way or 90 degrees in relation to the arm. So it all depends on how you configure the arms and the Valks on them for you to decide which type you need. The same adapters fit in all three modes so you just need to look at the adapters that come with your Valks and see how they relate to the Yeti adapters. Basically, a Valk pointing along the thin edge of an arm needs a standing adapter and one pointing perpendicular from the flat side of the arm needs a banking adapter but that can be easily changed with an elbow, which will also give more angle options. The Alpha stand is more robust than the Beta stand and the mount is in the middle of the stand for the Alpha while the Beta has the mounting point off set to one of the side edges which might leave room to display a figure or other item below the Valks on top of the stand. Either one will hold two Valks, no problem but people have put six or more Valks on the Alpha.
  15. That photo shows one knuckle, one regular arm, one XL arm, two elbows and two (standing) adapters.
  16. Great choice! You’re going to be impressed as there are no better stands out there. At minimum, you will need a dual arm and one arm (probably an XL) and two Yamato/Arcadia adapters. Depending on the poses you want to achieve, you may want a different combination of arms and elbows but what I listed would be the minimum parts needed. Let @ChaoticYeti or us know what you are trying to achieve and you will be helped. There are endless options.
  17. Looks like it was worth it to me! Nice!
  18. zIt seems much more likely that a CF 1A would come before the 0A
  19. I think he means the difference between the Hornet and Super Hornet but for the F-16.
  20. That's interesting info if true but it makes sense. I'm just wondering why the F-20 ever went into development if it is the case though. Swoosh!
  21. Not sure if it was already mentioned but I saw this available for preorder - Variable Fighter Master File VF-1 Battroid Valkyrie https://hlj.com/product/SOF39424/Sci http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=MED-BOOK-011871&page=top No images yet but amiami used this as a placeholder
  22. Thanks for the info, makes sense! The fuselage has a very different shape and the sides resemble the F-5 a bit, which is why I mentioned that.
  23. Great points, I totally agree. Imagine if such a store existed? MW would pillage the crap out of it in seconds! Yep. Just tell us the options up front. In their defense, they seem to be doing that with the later releases, SDF-1 being the best example. Can't blame them for putting out the other stuff years ago before PF was a thing and then deciding to offer a PF now. The VF-0 needed a revamp, the VF-1...maybe they already consider it perfect? Sure, there are little changes that could be made but probably not worth the effort to them (or me). I really don't want to be buying another line of VF-1s unless their is significant difference and improvement. Including stands would be nice but I thought those adapters were just for Yetistands . Other than that, I think it's a good thing that a classic and great toy is made available as often as possible...there is nothing more annoying than wanting a toy, having the money and not being able to buy it at retail. Also, I think all releases should be PF and include stickers for those who want to further customize. Well said! This is my collecting philosophy as well. They make something I want, great! They don't make it, money saved! I already have it?...Share the wealth!
