  1. Pandemic must have thrown their schedule off, but looking at their rate of actual releases now they appear to be moving along at back to pre-pandemic speeds. There were times over the past year it felt like they announced new stuff or variants too soon, with a whole existing backlog of deliverables that made me think if they were just trying to rollover new funds from PO’s to bankroll older stuff, which is always a sign of trouble. At least Max now gets announced after being being unofficially confirmed for years, so they seem to be sticking to their long planned list of releases. Meanwhile we look across the aisle and that SHF Breetai is firmly in distant memory.. If ever an Alaska Base VF-1 is to be made, KC is the best bet now.
  2. Hmm I always thought this scheme would be better done as smaller, trading figures. But props to KC for exploring unconventional & even non-canon schemes. Now they need to make a Miriya figure to complete it!
  3. I'm liking what I'm seeing with these new Jada articulated figures. They hit the right spot between price, sculpt and features especially when most other toy prices have inflated, shrinkflated or both. I'm still fighting the urge to pick up all their Street FIghter pieces, but I think the time has passed for me when I resigned to stop SF figures when the SH Figuarts line ended.
  4. It would be a tough choice between the Low-Vis and the Cavaliers haha. Cavaliers remains a grail for me, and sadly I don't think I will see it pop up for a reasonable price anywhere like how the Low-Vis sometimes does.
  5. Yeah on my small phone screen Max looks ok, but now that I see it blown up on my PC screen, he looks odd for all these reasons. But will still support it nonetheless, and KC likes to tweak stuff heavily from PO to release so hope they continue to iterate it for the better.
  6. Such a tight space but so much fun to be had! Mad respect to @xoxokin
  7. I like the way you put it haha.. It's great these Arcadia releases are such top quality. But ironically, the more well made any toys are, the more reluctant I am to handle them and I've been wondering if anyone else feels the same. There's sort of a mental resistance being afraid to foul up anything even though their build has been proven to be robust and Arcadia's Garlands are firmly in this territory. Glad that Arcadia have sold the Garlands and Proto-Garlands pretty well, for them to now do a 3rd issue for both.
  8. I’ve never transformed mine to Battroid, so always like to look at pics of it other than Fighter. The particular shade of gray Yamato used is just perfect & that yellow matches it so well. I don’t know why I never saw it or made the link before, but I only now realised the VF-25S basically has almost the same colours. No wonder it was Frontier’s best scheme!
  9. If I remember, KC migrated to a new site about 3 years ago. Older orders that were already completed were not carried over, only those orders that are outstanding at point of migration should be captured in the new site. I checked then and re-checked just now, my Dana orders are there. In any case, there should be an e-mail record of the order, and in the case of Paypal, an email notification of payment made.
  10. I didn’t think I’ll ever be getting seconds of anything just for display-in-box, but this really makes a strong case for it.
  11. Ditto here.. each Macross show have been intentionally different in tone & presentation, so they feel like independent shows but connected to a larger universe. Not really a bad thing, especially in light of so many things being made to crossover these days.
  12. My go-to video whenever I have some Star Fox nostalgia.. Although the original game was revolutionary at its time, it can look too dated today. This remake video somehow hits the right spot on what I imagined & wanted it to be while playing it all its blocky polygon glory back in the day.
  13. Yup, die cast, they do not transform, the wings do sweep but that’s about it. Courtesy of @jenius: https://anymoon.com/blog/?p=2259#more-2259
  14. If not wrong, this occasionally pops up at YAJ for Yen 2500-3000.
  15. Agreed. Let’s hope Arcadia releases another cool non-canon scheme like this for the next anniversary celebrations..
  16. Low-vis..
  17. Thanks guys. Although Aoshima didn't give a diecast treatment to Blue Thunder, thankfully Organic did, although the scale was quite different. I instead wished Aoshima would have given us a diecast HX1, which I consider to be Airwolf's true rival.
  18. Forever part of childhood haha..
  19. I'm sure many of us can remember the theme song in a snap.

    Hi-Metal R

I was wondering where that very blue tint came from, but then its right in the opening credits when Hikaru's 1J gets ready for take off.
  21. I wonder where that Myung figure is from. Is it a resin kit?
  22. I use an Iphone SE, then run the pics mainly through multitude of global filters on the Snapseed app. The stand though has been individually edited in Photoshop, I desaturated it because I can't stand the purple.
  23. It is the perfect line for cost, accuracy, durability & playability. Seeing this VE-1 reminds me of the excitement when it was announced & released. This was before Arcadia reissued it in 1/60 PF, and the VE-1 was always a bit of a small grail then.
  24. I sometimes feel the VF-0 in battroid, have a bit of strange proportions. In-universe it is supposed to be the predecessor to the VF-1, but sometimes it feels more like a kitbash of something else to make it look like a VF-1 lol.
  25. I guess the Invid Scouts really did some damage to that green Alpha!
