  1. I think the greyish looking parts on the feet are wholly metal? As are the knees, shins and ankles. It looks like its going be a stellar toy - nice 80's chunkiness matched by nice tactile heavy metal feel. Just like the HMR Destroids lol.
  2. Great haul there Having skipped customs tax and fees is already great savings! I think in the coming weeks and months, Mandarake will be one of your best friends. https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1156788320&lang=en
  3. I just remembered it too lol. They also included the parts for the Ghost in the VF-0, like HMR 0S Jenius blue, but never actually got around to making the Ghost.
  4. The CEO did say that his intention was to have it look more like the animation, imperfections and all.
  5. They did, on the very last episode - Shin & Focker vs Ivanov & Nora in some of the best mech scenes.
  6. The online comments mention Moehime is apparently based in the same city NY used to be, and that when Moehime went live, their inventory was suspiciously similar to what NY had around the time they went down. I ordered something in-stock from Moehime few days ago, the tracking shows that it is being posted out from Ibaraki Post Office in Osaka prefecture.
  7. I forgot about the Ghost, which complicates things further for the 0S. I agree the Ghost should have been packaged together right at the start, as the Ghost as a single piece standalone would be too small a release. Wonder if Bandai will really pull off a d*ck move to release an 0S+Ghost bundle and then another 0S+Reactive Armor release lol. To me, the ideal would be: 1. A 2-piece, Ghosts-only QF-2200D-A & QF-2200D-B release, and a standalone / 0S-bundled Reactive Armor release. 0A will be standalone like the current 0S. or 2. A Reactive Armor + Ghost release for the 0S, and the 0A bundled with a Ghost. I don't mind if it's just the QF-2200D-B Ghost variant here.
  8. Liking the progress so far @Angesdad The 0S is a bit tricky to decide on duplicates, because we do not know if Bandai will issue a standalone armor-only pack, or a valk+armor set. Likely the latter going by the VF-1 releases. But I think the current prices have kinda just about bottomed out, as far as can be seen in Mandarake. 1/3 off retail in the secondary market, with new ones being about 1/4 off. I am afraid if this trend continues to the 0D on international release, Bandai will abandon it altogether and won't continue to the 0A..
  9. @Lolicon nice you finally received the Moducases. I recall you had them ordered for a long time, perhaps this is the longest PO to delivery of anything? Lol
  10. Hahah.. i only realised over past week, that Moehime is likely to be NY 2.0. This being based on conversations that can be found online. When Moehime came into the picture, some people got marketing e-mails from them on their e-mail accounts that were previously only registered for NY.
  11. Lol me hungry, I’ll go for a faster spam sandwich instead.

    Hi-Metal R

Playing with the Monster is nothing to be forgiven for Its awesome how just one piece in relation to the other HMRs immediately puts the scale perspective in focus.
  13. Came close to getting one of these couple of times. It's astonishing no one has made a modern version of this yet of this size or scale. For now, the Megahouse Cosmo Fleet SDF-1 will have to do.
  14. Nice @takatoys Panel line really makes them pop.
  15. Looking better and better with each update!
  16. I don’t know why, and there isn’t much relevance, but the pic just reminds me of this lol..
  17. Thanks @Lolicon Always thinking how to present the toys differently in pics..
  18. I am actually relieved that Bandai chose this release for people to jump all sorts of hoops over, because by many measures lots of peeps including myself, won’t care much about it lol. Now let’s say, Bandai did this for a 31A Kairos re-issue, perhaps Arad’s version..
  19. Agreed, so there was quite a bit of angst when the 31J with Speakerpods was solicited. Upon release, many units showed up on Mandarake with the Speakerpods missing, no doubt quite a few folks buying the set just for that pod. The potential of those mission packs were really underutilized in the show. But then again, if more variances were animated, imagine Bandai milking full reissues of valk + mission pack sets each time. It seems Bandai doesn’t really like to TWE very small accessories anymore, so the days of something like say, the 25G’s Gallia IV standalone set are likely over, much less single piece mission packs.. Nice comparison shot
  20. +2 on Yamato’s v2. There’s still quite a few things to like about it over the DX. Mainly how precise everything comes together in fighter, with tolerances that still shames a lot of toys produced today.
  21. The great thing about this being a model kit, is that there is no rush to PO. There will be a flood of it on release just like the HG YF-19, or like most other Gundam model kits.
  22. An attempt to be artsy-fartsy..
  23. Putting it here for quick visibility: VF-25G Revival for only Yen 24,000 https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1239473260&lang=en
  24. Oops my bad. I mis-remembered & must have conflated both TZ and Yamato together.
