The Tread has been in what an unusually long tease now for a Sentinel product. I hope it doesn't become vaporware though, although still pretty optimistic at this point it will still get a release.

Using the Y-adaptors like that is pretty ingenious haha.. I would have never thought of it.

No idea what scale are they, information on these is pretty limited. Up till this pic which showcase the actual items / prototype, I wasn't even sure if it was under HG licensing (worldwide) or Big West (Japan-only). But now we see its Big West, although there have been web stores around Asia accepting preorders for couple of months now. Perhaps someone more familiar with Tomica items can shed more light on this..

A very nice scheme, and reminiscent of the Yamato 1/48 Stealth colours.

Slight addendum to the yellowing discussion earlier: I just noticed Mandarake has recently started to add remarks to Frontier v2 valks that yellowing may occur (in addition to the possible nose hinge crack) for unopened ones.

The Strike version looks like a winner, and agreed that the details are pretty sharp. Never really noticed that before with the non-Strike ones, because the legs hanging down at the rear were always just too distracting. -
If the scalper-ish price from JP is almost the same as local, might as well go local as after-sales support should be better, something that was inconceivable not too long ago. The longer wait times for local stores having items in stock can actually be an advantage, as after release in JP we have a bit of time to decide which way the prices are trending. If it goes down, as some of the WWM items do, then cancel local and pick up import. Again, something also very inconceivable for Macross toys not too long ago as well lol.

I never actually considered Bandai doing Destroids in a new scale, but if they start doing so, I reckon there'll be some sort of mutiny going around in these boards. Folks have been waiting forever for the HMR Tomahawk & Spartan that Bandai have repeatedly gaslit us with lol. Might I suggest you to pick up the HMR Monster? Even if it doesn't fit the DX scale, it is a very, very good toy in its own right. -

Hahah just put some laser pointers in @grogall Yamato did show off a 1/60 Monster prototype many moons ago. Lemme try to search the pic.. Ok here it is: At that scale its already humongous; compared to the cut-off 1/60 VF-1S on the right. At 1/48 it probably needs a dining table display lol. For the other destroids, the only 1/48 I know is the recent Moscato 1/48 Tomahawk kit: -
You mean Hikaru's red stand? That comes bundled with Kakizaki's 1A. Hikaru's 1J is the one with the recent Armored release.
