  1. I just noticed that NY has the Harrison F91 in stock for 25,500 yen and placed my order. Hurray!
  2. For anyone wanting the Metal Build Strike but can't make the pre-order time I recommend keeping an eye on https://www.eknightmedia.com/. They carry Metal Builds and I was able to get the 00 Gundam Seven/G when missed the pre-order window. They do get there shipments a month or two after release but at least you will have one.
  3. @mechaninac C looks great, I would be in for a couple. Looks like I am going to have to find some tamiya paint. Hopefully the paint is layered clear blue then smoke but I will have to test to make sure.
  4. Since you read the manga I recommend: 08th MS Team, 0080 War in the Pocket, 0083 Stardust Memory, Zeta Gundam (In that order) All of those are solid series. War in the Pocket is a little slow but short (total of six episodes). Zeta will look and feel dated compared the first three. There is a movie compilation for Zeta if you don't want to watch all 50 episodes. That is like phase one of the Gundam U.C. Timeline. After that you get ZZ Gundam, Char's Counter Attack (movie), Unicorn Gundam and F91 (movie). ZZ Gundam is a hard watch in my opinion. The first season is really rough and the second gets a little better. Definitely recommend CCA and F91, very good movies that should have had their own series. Gundam Thunderbolt is also great and happens during/after the One Year War. The thing with Thunderbolt is that the technology is really advanced for the time period and can be considered separated from the main U.C. canon. Also they have been releasing the manga, I say read manga if you have time then watch the anime. The manga flushes out a few more things than the anime. But that is my personal opinion. And if you want something a little more contained Gundam Wing, Gundam 00, Mobile Suit Iron-Blooded Orphans are really good. Both only have one main series (50 episodes) with a movie/OVA and are completely separate from the U.C timeline.
  5. Pre-orders for the Shield boosters and Hrududu sets are up at NY https://www.nippon-yasan.com/search.php?orderby=position&orderway=desc&search_query=gundam&submit_search=Search
  6. Thanks! And I fully intend to do a regular Hazel-Rah. Oh that is going to be an big P-Bandai order. I am really curious how far Bandai will take the A.O.Z kits. Will we see a MG Hazel Owsla, Woundwort, or Hyzenthlay?
  7. Damn, I am going to be spending a lot on P-Bandai gunpla this year. Looks like the MG A.O.Z kits sold really well and any remaining MG Advanced Hazel pre-orders will be gone soon. Almost feel like I shouldn't even bother with the regular releases if they are going all out with A.O.Z suits. To get this setup I would need two HRUDUDU units and the shield booster set, correct? I have the MG Advanced Hazel on pre-order. I wonder if everything would actually stay together? I finished my MG Custom Hazel recently and impressed by how sturdy the kit is. It uses the MG Gundam 2.0 frame so that helps but I wasn't expecting it to stand up with the shield booster on the back.
  8. Come on HLJ, get the Robot Spirits Unicorn in my PW so I can ship Stig!
  9. Has Bandai released any information for this version?
  10. I really hope Bandai added ratcheted hips joints. Going to be a fun for pre-ordering and thank goddess it is a Friday night.
  11. I thought Thunderbolt was well done. Between IBO and Thunderbolt it was a nice departure from the series with pilots that don't kill with machines of war. I have been reading the manga as they come out and the first part sticks very true to the manga. During the music parts the anime works better. I am definitely getting the Bandit's Flower when it is released state side. Any sequels to Gundam 00 and IBO are always welcomed, along with Gundam Wing. It would be a nice remake of Gundam Wing to do the GoL and Frozen Teardrop. that would be so awesome to see, as long as they do not CG suits. It throws off the aesthetic when you drawn animation for everything except the mobile suits. The Exia R4 is cool expect for the naked arm, that doesn't make alot of sense unless armor or bits are added to it later. I would love to see an Exia Full Saber version, that would be awesome to see in action. https://www.rightstufanime.com/Mobile-Suit-Gundam-Thunderbolt-December-Sky-Blu-Ray Good price for a blu-ray. Not sure about streaming. Crunchyroll does not have it, hulu might.
  12. Paid for mine and looking forward to getting it next month. I missed the Yamato release and feel very fortunate to be able to get a re-release. This version might turn into a holy grail piece years down the line and didn't want to miss the chance to get one. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint when I open it.
  13. It is unfortunate but does not surprise me that the ride armor feels fail. I can't see this being a toy you transform often. Hopefully the armor stays on the figure properly with secure connections once it is fully transformed.
  14. I would assume Stig would cover the gaps when riding the bike so they wouldn't be noticeable.
  15. I wonder if a blue metallic paint would work better than the silver. Maybe the visor lines would be more subtle.
  16. Nice to see that this is actually shipping! Hopefully there will be some reviews up soon.
  17. Getting the option set should be too hard to get. Nippon-Yasan and BiginJapan already have pre-orders up. The part that hurts is the price. https://www.nippon-yasan.com/figures/24723-metal-robot-damashii-side-ms-wing-of-light-himat-full-burst-effect-set-limited-edition.html https://www.biginjap.com/en/completed-models/20489-metal-robot-damashii-side-ms-wing-of-light-hi-mat-full-burst-effect-set.html BBTS should also have a pre-order up later in the month, but it will much more expensive. Big in Japan had the Metal Robot Infinite Justice for $175 shipped, BBTS was $224. I can't speak to how hard it will be to get the Strike freedom itself if you don't have one already.
  18. That is possible. Also part the reason we haven't seen a MB Justice (Infinite or otherwise) could be due to the engineering for the backpack. At 1/100 -ish scale the flight unit would have a lot weight for the suit hold. The MG is restricted to using a stand because of that. I am sure the Metal Robot will be the same so you could be very right that is it a feeler. And all the strike versions you listed is exactly why we are getting a Metal Build Strike. One general mold with a few variations gets them a whole plethora of figures. The only two I would get are the Strike Noir and IWSP versions. It will be nice to save some money from the Metal Build line for awhile. I hope they do the Crossbones too and alternate releases. The Blue frame 2nd Revise would be nice too see also. Doesn't it use a similar weapon pack that was released with the Red Frame?
  19. I would prefer them in the Metal Robot line actually. The smaller scale would work better for display and shelf space. I really like what they have been doing with the line, they aren't skipping on details. To me they look like smaller Metal Build robots and they have the gimmicks. With my shrinking shelf they work better for me if I was going to do a whole team. I was tempted to pick up a few high grades awhile back but read they weren't the best. It is a shame bandai normally doesn't fill out whole teams often.
  20. FYI, if anyone is interested in the Metal Robot Infinite Justice get it from Japanesse sites. BBTS has their pre-order up and they are price gouging, $244.99 . http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/71846
  21. I much rather see 00 designs that Seed designs any day. And I can't see what else they could do after the Metal Build Astraea release in May. Maybe a few option sets but they have to be running low on 00 stuff. Hopefully they will release some photos of the Metal Build Crossbone gundam. I won't mind see that design for the next three years.
  22. Damn, I still havent got billed. Hopefully they didnt get shorted on pre orders.
