    Yesterday I started a new project. Since my Macross collection is 1/100 scale, it was missing a TV VF-1A Kakizaki. That's why I decided to get a Standard VF-1A kit for customizing, and I found this one: I liked this kit because I suck at painting, and its pieces are cast in light brown and dark gray plastic, so it would just need some white painting, and I could keep the base colors for the rest of the kit. So yesterday I started the process of masking and painting using a can of white spray paint, and it was working just fine. So today I was looking for some pieces to paint next, but then I started looking at the gray pieces, and noticed this: The damn antenna was cast gray!!!! (piece #24) No I'll be forced to paint the rest of the kit with some brownish color. So I'd like to ask the experts here: is there a spray color that may look like Kakizaki's right out of the can? I considering Tamiya's TS46 may work. Any thoughts, advise?

    Hi! I may be interested. Just have a noob question: is this a resin kit? And if it is, how difficult it is building / painting a resin kit compared to a regular kit?

    Thanks. I know the scale is 1/20, but I wanted to know the actual size, because I don't know how tall Minmay is supposed to be on the show.

    I agree. I don't think a remake is needed, but I would definitely support a fan project looking for correcting some issues, like some coloring mistakes and some poor drawings, thus enhancing the original series

    Last week I sold four Hi-Metal / Hi-Metal R valks to some guy. Once he received them, he said: "These look just like the Toynami veritechs" Now I wish I sold them to someone else....

    But they did change the Evangelion story. After the first movie, it's entirely different. They even said that it's not a remake but a sequel instead.

    I already have the red and green masterpiece Alphas, but the blue one is the hardest to get for a reasonable price

    It's way too expensive to even consider buying it. It's a no-go for me. I'll have to keep looking for an Aoshima legioss, even if its hands crumble down.
