I asked Solscud007 yesterday about the t-shirt, and he plans a totally new design. A blueprint of the top view of the VF-1 in fighter mode with nosecone pointing down on the front of the shirt. Not sure if he mentioned anything about the back.

Looking forward to seeing it in person, Spiff. Now I have to look for a VF-11 FP.

Even though I sold my SDF-1 long ago, I will get a set of your stickers Takatoys. Hopefully for a future SDF-1 addition to my collection.

Oh my god. I totally forgot about that. This is gonna look so STUPID on the low-viz! Ohhhh MaaaaaaaAAAAAaannn!! Just paint the shoulder pads low vis grey.

The images look a bit too big. Instead of yellow, how about using a color closer to the anime for the chest armor. The 5 should be in white, it'll pop out more. Just suggestions.

I already have the Hikaru 1J, so I would prefer the armor only. Great idea, Graham. I doubt we'll see it though.

With the people involved, Steven Spielberg and Dreamworks, I'm sure it'll be a great popcorn flick.

GBP= Giant Bulging Parts That's the most menacing looking of all the GBP renditions ever made. I hope you guys are right about the nosecone armor option.

Not interested in a "well hung" Valk? Not really. I got the 1/60 version as a b-day gift and it's the only area that looks off. Well, at least Yamato is still making Macross toys.

What did you use to color in the panel lines on your 1/60 Hikaru 1J, artspraken? It looks very neat, only I would use grey instead of black. Just my preference.

I have seen the finished gunpod hand and closed fists hands, and they are da bomb! 'cuz Eternal_D is da man! All you 1/48 valkaholics will want these, and those that miss out will envy the pics. I will need at least 7 sets, Danny.

I got the volume 1 (Scott) Alpha last Saturday, thanks AnimePunch, and I'm quite happy with it. A larger scale with longer landing gear would've been better, and ratcheting arms and legs would've helped the floppiness. The only issue with mine is that one of the missle hatches on a forearm came off, no glue. It's a simple fix for my #01293. Will definately get Takatoys' Alpha stickers for this guy.

I am hopeful that we are only seeing the effects of Yamato's rethinking of their Macross line-up. Like the calm before a storm. I want my wallet to feel the wrath of Yamato again. The Mk II Monster should be 1/100 scale, so you can display it alongside it's lil' bro'. Plus they'll sell more at that scale.

I was hoping to at least see one of those "all-grey" prototypes of the 1/48 GBP armor, what a let-down.
