Anyway, doing some final assembly of the Miria.

@derex3592 Your office looks like it doesn't have much room for much else now! Then again, it belongs at work because building that thing must have felt like a full time job! It has a commanding presence. @Chas Your pair of Legioss (Legi-ii???) are looking great. That finishing stretch always feels great. I try to avoid building multiples of a kit at once. I tend to get overwhelmed and put the project back on the shelf.

It's Tamiya Red X-7 painted over the dark grey plastic of the armor. It doesn't quite match the pieces that I painted over the white plastic. I'll post pictures when I'm done and you'll see a slight difference in the red between the armor and the valk.

@MechTech Nice belly button! Seriously though, good work on those grills. It does look like cutting those two slots was indeed a painful process. Nine tries!?!? Wow, dedication.

@Chas Nice haul you got there. I recently got the bandai reissues of all the Nausicaa kits.

@jvmacross I searched on mandrake but they are all sold out. I just think they're awesome and I must have them.

@jvmacross I really enjoyed looking through all of the images you posted. Thanks a lot! How would you rate these on difficulty to obtain? I'd love to collect all of these. @MechTech I was cracking up about "No Imai..."

@Duymon I'm loving your pilot factory! And all those weapon sets, wow! You'll never build a naked valk in your life! Really good stuff!

@Duymon That brownie looks amazing! I can't wait to see some detailed pictures of her when she's all done! I've got the same kit in progress and I think I might go with the same scheme...

@derex3592 That star destroyer is coming along great! She looks BIG! Wow, what a project! @pengbuzz I like your open leg engine concept. I've always wanted to build a hasegawa battroid diorama scene with the head open like that. Really cool stuff! On my bench, I'm working on some photoetch. 90% of the time, I think the photoetch is a waste of time and money. For this particular application though, it livens up a really bare spot on the model.

That turned out great. You make it look easy but that is a challenging modification. Awesome!

@Photogirl That SDF-1 turned out great! It has quite a presence in that first pic you posted. @peter It's good to see you post more progress pics on your build. I feel like you're enjoying it a little more now. It looks great after that white primer!

That's a great explanation! I feel like I really understand why the DYRL versions get so much more attention. Very interesting.

I agree about the rivets. They seem out of place on what is supposed to be such a technologically advanced machine. Good choice for PLAMAX to leave them out. I think the panel lines look too deep and out of scale. This reminds me of panel lines on the Wave VF-4 kit.

Working on a Miria. I always enjoy getting to the decal stage. It feels like I'm in the home stretch.

They look fine to me! I don't see a problem.
