    I suggest scanning through the last 10 pages or so of the Yeti Stand thread to get ideas on the different layouts you can use, but basically you'll need 1 dual arm (or the new knuckle) for every Valk you add on after the initial one. BTW, I'm still a rookie at this myself, ChaoticYeti and others in that thread should be able to help with any questions you have.

    I based my setup on this post from the Yeti Stand thread: I originally wanted the stock VF-25S in the middle, and the armored and super versions flanking it ... the armored is just too heavy and big/wide without so rethinking the whole layout, it will probably need to be my center piece. I have no fear of the acrylic not being able to support them, it's more of balance to keep the base from wanting to topple. I have been enjoying just playing around with the stand and the options, it's fun to see all the possibilities. And it looks so much better than any other stand out there.

    Yeh I was pleasantly surprised the colors on the Cavaliers and Percival look so good together. You're right it's a balance problem. I know it's doable, just have to rethink how to get all three on there. Definitely impressed with the strength of the Yeti Stand, I just need to get the balance right

    First time transforming a VF-25 into Battroid, embarrassingly took longer than expected, but thanks to Jenius' video reviews turned out well. I call this one the "Blues Brothers" ... Had this for a while but hadn't taken a photo of it. Also noticed while resizing the photo I needed to dust it better. Working on a Yeti stand display for these three but ran into a weight problem (yes that armor does make you look fat, Ozma). Also anyone know of a trick for keeping the gunpods from popping off when using the Bandai stand adapters? They just won't stay on, especially on the armored and super.

    I got the VF-25G and VF-25S both graded "B" from Jungle and I was a bit hesitant at first, but couldn't beat the prices (¥24,840 for the 25G and ¥15,120 for the 25S). Came out to $205 USD and $125 USD respectively, before shipping and Jungle's 5% fee. Both came in great shape. Flawless boxes, wrapped in bubble wrap and heavy plastic underneath. All accessories and interior packaging just as if they were brand new. Aside from cut tape, the only thing that made them seem "used" was a wee bit of dust on them and some lint stuck to the tape inside.

    So after seeing that house for sale on Macross Court on the last page, I was bored and thought I'd try to see how many streets named Macross there were in the US.     Actually I think the lid is still on in the second photo. For the top two cubes you can see a reflection in front of the cameras. Which is cool if the lid will stay on even when it's on it's side. However, I doubt you have to have the lid on ever, so your idea of wall mounting to make it more like a bookcase should work. I really want to drive up to Ikea and check these out but it's about a 40 min drive so I may not be able to get up there for a couple days.

    on the Ikea page they also show sitting it on it's side, so the light could also be coming from the back ... kinda cool you can use it either way next time I'm there I'm going to pick up one or two and I'm sure I'll find some use for them ... maybe if they become popular they'll make them in a larger size ...

Per Wikipedia: Chogokin (超合金 Chōgōkin?, Sometimes Chougokin or Cho-gokin) is Japanese for "Super Alloy" and is a fictitious material which first appeared in Go Nagai's Mazinger Z manga and anime. It was later adopted by Popy in 1972 as the name of a new line of die-cast metal robot and character toys sold in Japan. The first of these toys was the "GA-01" Mazinger Z, which, in spite of questionable engineering that led Popy to offer a free replacement campaign, ignited a craze that changed the face of the Japanese toy industry in the 1970s. ST is short for "standard" and is usually in the range of 5" in height. DX is short for "deluxe" and is usually much larger.     They are the vinyl Toynami ones. The scale is of course off, but didn't look as bad with the valk in gerwalk.

    Here are the exact bubble shields I ordered off eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/121713282922 They DO NOT fit perfect at all. The bottom part won't fit around when they are on the top snaps. In the pictures above they are not snapped and pushed above the snaps so the bottom of the bubble shield will fix just inside the bottom of the mask. The top visor and the bottom part of the mask do hold it in place so it's not moving around, but it's definitely not snapped in. I'm looking at trying something like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/371411032099 to allow the bubble shield to ride up and fit at the bottom but still be snapped. My other option was to take a dremel tool and cut slots in the bubble shield on the sides where they make contact with the bottom two snaps used by the original flat shield, this should allow the bubble shield to have a bit more flexibility when fitting the bottom of the mask on, while still being snapped at the top.

    Thanks guys ... I got really luckily, the VF-25S + armor was $300 on eBay, which is less than some are selling just the armor for so I couldn't pass it up. I went from thinking I wasn't sure if I wanted one VF-25S to now thinking I need to get a third to have all 3 types (stock, armor, super) and show off all 3 modes ... yes, that's the addiction talking

    Since my detolfs are otherwise occupied and I just started getting back into Macross, I stumbled cross a small glass display cabinet I call my mini-detolf and filled it with Macross stuff. Ignore the R-word on the busts if you find that sort of thing offensive
