    TV movie with a follow up TV show. Caught part of an episode once where Optimus Prime did the voice of the new version of "KARR," and the car somehow turned into a Bayformer. I think they probably got sued out of existence. I'm gonna say Team Knight Rider wasn't worse, since it had that cute blonde chick in it.

    I just hope they don't string out the series too long, since the character designs look like they're starting to fall in line with episode III already. Hell, isn't Padme pregnant in season 2?

    Bah, totally forgot they made a new "Knight Rider."

    Repeat after me: "It was always there." or "No really, it's been there for months, how did you not notice that?" or "I totally won the office pool, who would have thought." You just have to get creative with how you integrate new hardware. Like "I was totally about to go to this strip club, but I love you so much, I got a PS3 instead."

    That looks sufficiently epic. Is the 3rd season supposed to be the final season of the series? I'm actually surprised to be enjoying something that I initially completely hated the character designs off, but there ya go. The major dilemma next year will be whether or not to break up the bluray movie viewing with all 3 seasons of Clone Wars inbetween eps 2 & 3.

    As much groaning as is going on right now, I can't help but think many will still end up purchasing regardless. Me, I'm read' ta go.

    Biggest highlight is him showing a picture of some random Chinese woman from an airport, and telling some fanboy wankoff story about how Robotech was her favorite show.

    Awesome movie, but really, not surprised "The Expendables" is spanking it, as this is far from mass market fodder action flick. I'm sure it will do great on bluray & DVD though, I'm already set to pre-order whenever it comes out. Also prompted me to check out the game on PSN, which so far seems equally epic.

    Sexy, I can't wait to see the game in HD. Did you see the freakin' launch sequence? I wish they'd attempted that in the PSP game.

    Are those your own custom Saturn covers, or some kind of re-release? I actually have the Saturn Macross game, and back then all Japanese games came in CD style jewel cases.

    lol, Areaseven just sent me this. Remember that time China bootlegged Shadow Chronicles to make their own show? Oh wait, that never happened! Robotech big in China eh? hmmm..

    The next movie preview implies that she'll play a bigger rolei n the next film. Though in general, I suspect she's taking on some of Kaji's original "f^ck around behind the scenes" role.

    Voyager was way worse than Enterprise, so bad in fact that it made me walk away from all Star Trek for several years. And since I already mentioned Space Precinct & Logan's Run TV in the other topic, I nominate: -Mann & Machine! -Team Knight Rider -Riptide & The Disney TV movie/failed pilot "Earth Star Voyager."

    $34.99 is pretty unrealistic, even with a crazy Amazon sale. I wouldn't expect to see it any less than $79.99, and will most likely top $130.

    They were matted widescreen super low quality masters. And the excuse then was the same as it is now "too expensive to remaster that too, yadda yadda." When they damn well could have at least made them anamorphic instead of matted.

    I honestly don't see how the profit margin involved doesn't warrent the original remaster, but hopefully someday he'll see the error of his ways.

    I"m gonna hope Lucasfilm will do the right thing, and use seamless branching to let the viewers choose a preferred version of the film, since it works a hell of a lot better on bluray than it ever did on DVD. But regardless, I'm all over this, and am surprised anyone would pass it up. The DVD's look "ok" upscaled, but a true HD remaster will be freakin' awesome. And that is a pretty f^cking badass lightsaber scene.
