    Honestly, I was never a fan of Ulitmate mode, was it a cool addition? Yeah. But once clearing a stage on Ultimate once, I never really went back and re-did it. Regardless, if you're finding Triangle too easy, the solution is simple. Down-tune your Valkyrie. That's right, the tune bar can move in the opposite direction too! To each his own though. Personally, the many levels of added detail in Triangle are well worth the upgrade for me. As for the Triangle thread being quiet, I know I'm personally waiting for the rest of the new passwords to come out. As for time played, I'm at about 75 hours.

    No, Triangle doesn't have as high of a difficulty curve. What it does have is a "lot" more graphic detail, refined movement animations for more "macross-y" mecha, more characters, fast pack's for the VF-17's & VF-19's, a much better balance between the mecha, and many other things that put it high above Ultimate.

    So much hate... Aquarion's only fault was the 1 million training episodes. It wasn't a bad story by any means.

    Subs definately aren't the best, but unless they went backwords in masters, they shouldn't quite be dubtitles. Note that the first release was just shy of being full blown dubtitles.

    This looks like it'll be pretty awesome. Just from the trailer, I get the impression it'll have somewhat of a new BSG tone with the last days of Thundera beginning the story, then following to Third Earth.

    What you propose is interesting, but it would have to be more of a case where HG purchased some kind of pre-packaged show dev kit, that let them use Astro Plans models, and paste Yune's huge fake titied whores in.

    Or, as I've said many times before, if WB is smart they'll do this: -Divert their robotech movie license to WB animation -Let Bruce Timm's gang do one of their 75 minute films, specifically a reboot of a chunk of the Macross story -If it's profable, continue this way. -If not, leave it for dead. In this way, the "real" leftover fanbase, i.e. nostalgic adults who remember watching it as kids, not the crazy fanatical minority that hounds robotech.com, will decide whether its a franchise worth continuing.

    Widescreen CRT's were crazy popular in Japan, which is why you find a lot of HD Japanese releases that are framed so nothing is lost in overscan.
